I recently endured the most abysmal dining experience of my life at New Taste of China, and I feel it's my civic duty to warn others. My order arrived an unforgivable 45 minutes late, but that was merely the beginning of a series of appalling missteps. The food was not just bad; it was inedible. It was as if someone had concocted a culinary nightmare designed to insult the taste buds. Several items from my order were missing, and when I called to remedy the situation, I was met with nothing but broken promises and astonishing rudeness from both the owner and the driver. The owner's assurance to send the missing food was a blatant lie, reflecting a total lack of integrity. His attitude was beyond rude; it was contemptuous, as if my genuine concerns were a nuisance to him. New Taste of China has managed to redefine the worst in dining experience. It's not just the tasteless food, missing items, or outrageous tardiness; it's the complete and utter disregard for customer service and basic human decency. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. There are countless other establishments that will treat you with respect and serve you food worthy of your hard-earned money. New Taste of China has neither taste nor decency, and it should be considered an affront to good dining.

10/10 food would definitely recommend it ,I would recommend getting the munchy box as it was my favourite was full of flavour and was cooked perfect and nice and hot , staff on the phone very polite and I did not have to wait long for my delivery got delivered to me in 25 minutes and the price you pay for your food will not disappoint you and the staff had given me a free drink on the house I appreciate that definitely recommend this shop

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, my son found chicken bones and hair in his soup, the prawns in my soup was off, the special curry looked like the inside of a babies nappy when they have dihorrea, fried rice was stale and as for the noodles well let's just say they had been sitting there a few days! Took the food straight back after the ignorant cow on the phone kept interrupting me, they wasn't expecting a full box of food back! A lady was in the shop getting her food at the time told her good luck with her food. Forgot to bring the "free" bottle of coke back and had to go next door and pay £2.49 for a 2ltr to replace a 1.5ltr bottle of coke. Disgusting food avoid at all costs.

First time ever in this takeaway! I was looked after by gentleman called Malik, he explained all dishes and gave me some suggestions which worked out really well. Thank you Malik for your excellent customer service! Now the main part..... Food was amazing, noodles cooked to perfection, the sauce was seasoned extremely well and the veg was still crunchy. By the time I drove home food was still warm. Food was cooked fresh! Customer service 9/10 Food 8.5/10 Food service and waiting time 10/10 Yes Yes Yes I do recommend this small Chinese takeaway

Having just read some of the ratings, some a few months old and some a year, I have to say that the delivered meal was excellent and I would certainly recommend based on my findings. Have I just ordered on "a good day"? or have the previous customers been extremely unlucky? The food was delivered on time, nice and hot and extremely tasty. The portions were by no stretch of the imagination small quantities, in fact we could have comfortable fed at least another two adults. I can only write as I find, and I would certainly at this point order from them again. Would I get the same level of quality received today?. Time will tell. Watch this space. David N.

Ordered food about 2 weeks ago it was disgusting left a bad review on just eat. On Saturday evening I received a telephone call saying the resteraunt had received my complaint. Explained my situation and was told to call Sunday to be given some free food. I called as asked to and ordered waited an hour so called back to be told I could not have free food. I asked to speak to the manager who I was told was in on Tuesday so today I have called to get the same guy as Sunday saying can't have free food and hung up the phone. What a great way to desk with complaints.

Where do I start so we ordered 5 dishes for £20 + £1.50 for delivery even though they won’t deliver to your door in high rise flats . Dish 1. Chicken balls: the batter was stodgy the chicken was barely warm not hot Dish 2. Beef with mushroom: loads of mushrooms and literally 4 small pieces of beef. Dish 3. Barbecue spare ribs: tough Dish 4. Salt and pepper chips: soggy and barely warm Dish 5. Chicken chow mien: the chow mien was warmish took a while to find the chicken . Definitely won’t be ordering from here no more. Really should have read reviews before ordering. Really didn’t want to give it 1 star but 0 stars isn’t an option.

Absolutely vile customer service , was not here on time and when rung said it was left at a different address on the doorstep in the rain when asked for a refund they said that they would re deliver , very low quality food wouldn’t feed to my dog x. To reply the this disgusting establishment, you are full of lies, why would I put the wrong address? trying to disguise how bad your service was by lying is not great , I do agree that nobody likes disrespectful and dishonest people everyone should stay away from this place

3-1 Curry rice and chips must have been heated up as parts where piping hot and other parts cold had to throw it away as i don’t think you understand how quickly bacteria grows in rice that’s obviously been cooked left then preheated. Also gave me someone else’s order then foned 5mins later to come and pick it up I told him he best not take it to whoever ordered it as I am writing it in this review so whoever ordered a pizza box filled with wan ton and spring rolls and other stuff I suggest you get your money back and take it further they picked it up at 18:40 20/09

The experience was a bit chaotic but they are really efficient. I’ve had an issue with the driver finding my house and when I called the store they took an action quickly making sure the driver got back to me with my food still really hot. Then checking the items we didn’t received the “Honey chilly chicken” (I think the driver took it because he was upset)and when I’ve contacted them they send me another one straight away to my door. Very nice service and delicious food!

Me and my partner ordered for the first time on Thursday night and there was a mix up with our order. The order was thought to be out but after around 45mins we and the restaurant realised it hadn't gone out and there had been a mix up with the tickets. The staff were amazingly helpful with this and not only kept us up to date with our order but also added several items that we hadn't ordered for the inconvenience. Honestly, best service I've ever had and the food was wonderful. This is our new Chinese

Ordered online but it said they were still preparing the food an hour after it was meant to arrive. They then claimed to have delivered the food 2 minutes before I could get a refund. Spoiler: no food was delivered and no one would answer the phone. I'm literally pregnant and they've just scammed me of £40 and a meal for my family. What the hell.

I ordered here by accident (long story) When I finally arrived it was cheaper than my usual and much better food. The food we had was hot and very tasty when we got home even though it took longer to get home. The one comment I would make about the shop was it looked unorganised and a bit untidy. The staff were fantastic though. I will try again and it may even be my new go to place.

Nice food but a little heavy on the garvy with the spacial fried rice. Overall its tasty, great delivery time and piping hot. Recommended for those who want a tasty Chinese for tea. Also the veg has a very nice crunch to it. So nice.

Ordered from here as usual place was shut, cant say i'd be in a rush to use it again. We ordered sweet and sour sauce but they gave curry sauce, didn't ring up because we was hungry and had waited over an hour anyway. Never will I order for here again binned full meal ordered pork and pineapple had a full tub of dry pineapple and a layer of leather pork usually comes with carrots, Onions n a syrup but no sign of that. Got a chicken and a beef curry the meat was like jelly...think a new chef is in order …

£15 for the worst chow mein iv probably ever had and prawn toast which was half decent, avoid! Also these blatantly fake reviews are embarrassing. How come you’ve got 25 five star reviews in last 3 days and you are their first review. AVOID!
