I’ve been to the New York Butcher Shoppe and Wine bar on Park Road in Charlotte North Carolina many times. I usually buy things for the grill and their sides. Everything has always been delicious but I’ve been meaning to try their restaurant in the back. I finally went on a Wednesday night which was $3 slider night. The place was packed but we were able to get two seats at the bar. The service and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had two sliders and a side of mac & cheese. The slider was delicious, but a little overcooked, but I know that’s usually how sliders are. The mac & cheese was some of the best I’ve had in Charlotte. Very creamy and cheesy with excellent flavor. I had a glass of Sancerre and realized I could buy the whole bottle for $36 which is a steal. I did that and brought half of it home. I will definitely go back and try meatball Monday for sure!

i like this place when I visit in-person but their catering is sub-par. When we arrived they didn’t have our order. When we gave our name they said they can’t do it that way- they need to know exactly what we ordered. We didn’t know because someone else ordered it for a big party and we were picking it up. I thought it was very strange to give a name and phone number but that not be the way to pick it up. Luckily a girl working knew the name and then had our order ready in about 30 minutes (even tho we called the night before and were given a pick up time.) after all of this, we get home and they forget the best side - the mac and cheese! $200 later, missing a side and the meat over salted, we just didn’t think it was worth it.

*Update* I know how hard it is being a business owner and the unjustified weight customers will put into these reviews. All my reviews for companies will be 5-Star from here on out. The negative marks will be solely in the comments, because business owners still need feedback to make improvements. ---------------- Seems like an alright spot. It appeared clean and cozy. However, the staff were not incredibly friendly and kinda inattentive. I only came in for a ribeye to bring home and grill. My biggest complaint is the mark up. About $40 a lb for ribeye seems a bit much to me. Unfortunately, I'll be going to a different butcher next time.

Some of the best steak I have ever had. My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here. We had help selecting which cuts of steak we wanted - the butcher was extremely knowledgeable, and then cooked them to perfection right then and there! I've been to many upscale steak houses (Del Friscos, Eddie V's, etc) and this has to be up there with one of the best. Honestly, for the price it is well worth it - some steakhouses of this quality are easily more costly. The waitstaff was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful - Thank you Lee! This place has become a staple to celebrate small wins in life and a general Sunday brunch gathering for my mates and I. The food menu has a lot of options but I highly recommend the steak flight and the Bacon Gouda Mac n Cheese above all the others. The Chandon is absolutely refreshing and delicious. Tastes great with ice but if you really want to appreciate the full flavor and the alcohol in it, tell them to 86 the ice...tastes so so good! The service us always outstanding and the Two Blondes (as I call them) are the best servers here! Lovely ladies and very knowledgeable.

This is a good place to stop after work for a glass of wine and nice food. They have my favorite cab, Juggernaut, for sale by the bottle. I’ve also purchased a number of the high grade meats they sell and haven’t been disappointment yet. The meat can be on the pricey side but it’s absolutely worth the value. There are a number of premade sides available cold that you can stop by and grab as well. One stop here and you can enjoy a drink while grabbing everything you need for dinner with the family.

Came to New York Butcher Shoppe when I was visiting the area a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was very cute, and staff were over the top friendly. We were asked if it was our first time there, and since it was they did a great job going through the menu. Other waitresses that weren’t serving us were very friendly as well, stopping and talking to us. Pricing is also very fair. My meal was probably about half of what it would’ve been at other restaurants, with great quality

This is the best butcher shop in Charlotte hands down. The place is beautiful with a great friendly feel. The meat counter is incredible with a great selection to choose from at very reasonable prices. Not only carved meat but smoked and prepared items ready to cook. They also have an awesome selection of wine you can purchase. Had the sliders for lunch and they were incredible. Can't wait wait to come back and try some other foods on the outdoor seating area.

This Butchery and Wine Bar was absolutely amazing. I'm so happy I stumbled into this little place. The fresh meat cooked in front of you to a variety of wine selections you can purchase by the bottle or by the cup was amazing. The food was filled with flavor and with responsible pricing. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. If you're near the area don't forget to stop by for a nice dinner alone or with a significant.

Beautiful venue, with an extensive list of items they sell. Staff is super friendly as well. Want to rate this one higher, but the prices at the butcher counter are just a little too high. Prices are not much lower than going out to eat at a top-tier restaurant. On the flip side however, the daily specials at the wine bar are a great deal!

I went in looking for a really good steak for my husband since I don’t eat meat. I asked for advice and Brian and his staff helped me pick the perfect Prime Angus. My husband grilled it and said that it was fantastic. The store is meticulously clean and they offer great sides too. Will be visiting there again soon!

Went here to get some bacon. This bacon is some of the best I’ve ever had! Met Brian, the owner, and was pleased by the friendliness. I will be trying that jalapeño bacon next time.
