Filed a police report here more than 3 weeks ago in regards to my bicycle which was stolen at the Brooklyn Public Library at Grand Army Plaza. Looks like they're dragging their feet with this investigation. Detective Bolden contacted me once via email, but when I try to follow up, my emails are being totally ignored. The library has a video camera but they only keep the footage for one month. I don't think the NYPD even looked at the footage yet. Time is running out. So far, I'm extremely disappointed with how the NYPD is handling this.
this place has (had?) a reputation for being "progressive" by NYPD standards on pedestrian/cyclist safety. they're just as garbage as every other pct under o'neill. check the bike lane blocking, sidewalk/double parking 24/7. heaven help you if you have to pass this place with a stroller or in a wheelchair. what ADA?
The desk officer took my report of my smashed car window and stolen Blackberry even though the precinct doesn't include my street (although they are the closest and mine is more than 15 blocks away). I found them very kind and I appreciated their help although there wasn't much they could do.
Just wanted to show some appreciation and greatly thank everyone down below for helping my parents locate their missing bag. Thank you! Capt. Souffrant, PO R.Gomez (20250), PO C.Gonzalez (20384), PO M.Maurice (30203), PO A.Castellon (21358), PO M.Suarez (23842), PO R.Rodriguez (20222)
The most amazing place on earth. I find it truly endulging to see hard working, smart, well dressed and fit people in this very building that has a great history behind it. Thank you police officer Esson for your service to the community of park slope...
trying to obtain my police report, the operator just says "okay hold on" and hangs up. officer karimov 24026 and klambatsen 25600 responded to my emergency but I cannot reach their precinct. I am being withheld pertinent information.
Not sure how this one ranks up against others, but it took me about 3 hours just to get a copy of my accident report. Considering I was the only person waiting, I found that a bit ridiculous.
the officers in this precinct helped me recover a lost backpack containing a number of important documents i needed to travel with my friends. thanks to these officers my summer is saved!
guys their response times are world class. Three hours to respond to an accident on dead weekday night. good job more donut funding please!
Sipowicz and Kelly were very helpful but a little old school. Unfortunately Peralta and Boyle were out getting pizza.
DETECTIVE JAMES WERE VERY SMOOTH WHEN HE CUFFED ME. LOVED IT. WOULDNT MIND GETTING ARRESTED OVER AND OVER.
Peralta and Santiago are very helpful, but Hitchcock and Scully are just sitting there doing nothing.
I was stuck in a lockdown and hitchcock was stuck on the balcony peralta was a perfect captain
Detective Amy Santiago is very helpful on my case, she was organized and pretty <3
Detective Peralta was very helpful in the search for my son. Thanks, 78th!
