I have bad experience because when at starting I call them and visit there and I discuss everything I want teeth cleaning and Invisalign they told me charges near about 900 dollars after that they did half treatment and they took my whole money near about 2000dollars from insurance my left side still pending they said you have to pay 1001dollars more for your left side cavity removing. I were wondering even they didn’t inform me like you have to pay this much you want or not. If I wanted to reschedule appointment because I had work I call them no one receive call and next day Sunday when I call Monday she said you should have to tell 48hours before now you have to pay. she said you have to pay 75dollars extra otherwise we can’t. I prefare this location because it’s near to my house. But it’s horrible like they already claim my full insurance 2000dollars and still they want money from me. Worst experience. Although at first day they were so polite because they knew once they will start treatment then we can claim full money from insurance at the end of day they will ask from you it’s okay your insurance is covering don’t worry about money and then they want that much money more from you as well. Half treatment and they claim my full insurance worst experience. Even they didnot inform me when I asked then they started explanation to me. I will never refer to my friends, family and no one. I think they bought there reviews.

I'm beyond excited to say how incredible of a dentistry firm this is here at Newbury Dental!! I reached out to them with a rather odd question that I thought would and probably did scare away some dentists. I sent an email to four dentistry firms joking about I was going through a crazy phase in my life. I asked four dentists if they would permanently form my cainines into actual vampire fangs. Newbury Denttal was the only one to respond. There was an instant click from the receptionist because she said she just saw a tiktok about something like what I wanted, so she was more than excited to respond. The whole team I met was beyond excited also to help me with my reunion of my vampire side. I would like to Thank, Emilie, for being super excited to see my email. I'm glad it made her day. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Suffering from anxiety and depression and chronic pain, I often find navigating healthcare difficult, often pushing back appointments or cancelling. Not only do they send confirmation texts/updates, but they CHECK IN if you have not confirmed after a few days. I'm speechless. For a business to care THAT MUCH about their clients is so impactful. When asked why I didn't want to confirm, I said it was a benefits/timing thing and they offered to simply book me at a better day/time. No questions, no judgement- just understanding and patient centred care. They are amazing when it comes to navigating benefits as well! Just be sure to ask for a breakdown or to double check to confirm everything is covered/what isn't and you can opt out of certain treatments... They make me feel like I'm not pushed into paying thousands for something I truly don't need... (Which is sometimes why I cancel appts bc my anxiety tells me it's going to be SO much worse than it is)... I feel empowered, educated, and in control. I love that I can consent to my dental care at this office!!!

First impressions of the dental office is clean, bright, and has a modern tranquil like ambience to it. Emelie at reception was very friendly upon welcoming me when checking-in and after my appointment was done. Kiersten the Dental Assistant was delightful, super professional and kept making sure that I was OK and comfortable throughout; she walked me through every step of what we were doing. Dr. Ngai was fantastic! He was very genuine, informative and thorough. He made sure he took the time to answer any questions and concerns that I might have had and walked me through what I needed for my next visit. Overall I was blown away by the customer service, friendliness, professionalism and how extremely welcoming and accommodating the team at Newbury Dental was to me. Your experience at Newbury is relaxing and enjoyable right from Emilie's warm welcome when you walk through the door. Kiersten's friendly demeanor and excellent attention to detail matched with Dr. Lee's kindness, talent and expertise is an absolute dream team. The warm natural décor, cloud slippers, warm blankets, and Netflix definitely don't hinder the experience either! We've had a few visits this month... 4 I believe.. and my child is SAD they can't go again. Actually, my 5 year old was BEGGING to go back to the dentist because they had so much fun and experienced empowerment when it came to their healthcare. I love watching a doctor take the time to explain the process and answer EVERY question my child had (there were LOTS)... Thank you for treating them with the same respect as you would any adult client! And you get a blanket to cozy up with while they work on your teeth! So clean and hygenic!! Reception was also OUTSTANDING! Took the time to explain the insurance process and answer all my questions, and I overheard a few phone calls while I was waiting and I cant believe how kind and compassionate and HONEST this clinic is! 12/10 recommend!! Beautiful state-of-the-art facility. Brought my mom here for her first dental visit in 10 years. Prior to visiting this clinic, she was extremely terrified of seeing a dentist due to fear of being judged. This place has changed that for her! Everyone from the reception area to her hygienist Kim were so friendly and made my mom feel comfortable. We saw Dr. Ngai and he is an exceptional dentist! Extremely knowledgable, gentle, caring, and patient. He took his time in explaining the details while ensuring he addressed all of our questions. A big thank you to the entire team at Newbury Dental for creating such a warm environment for us patients - especially for a service that is typically not regarded as being everyone’s favourite place to visit!

The receptionist and hygienist were so genuinely nice! I believe I was the last person of the day, and did not feel rushed in the slightest. I was very impressed with Dr. Ngai - he took the time to go through my file and was very helpful in explaining things. The previous dental clinic I had been going to made me stress about receding gums, to the point where I started having reoccurring nightmares in which my teeth were falling out! Dr. Ngai calmly explained receding gums and reassured me that he wasn’t at all concerned. I feel so relieved! I also loved that the hygienist offered me headphones and a blanket. AMAZING. When I left I felt so relaxed as though I were walking out from a spa appointment - not the dentist!

This is my first visit with the new dental clinic. I have seen both dentists in other clinics in which they worked in the past. This clinic is bright, spacious, clean and makes one comfortable. Dr. Ngai and staff are very nice and friendly. They explained the procedures well prior to performing them. Dr. Ngai is experienced, professional, and thorough in examining my teeth condition, and provided options for my teeth problems. I am very satisfied with the service provided. My second visit was to have fillings and Dr. Ngai did them efficiently and again, he explained well of the fillings prior to doing the procedures.

I went for my initial checkup/cleaning and met Morgan and Dr. Ngai. I was quite impressed with how thorough they were in explaining everything (xray, what they’re doing, questions etc). He was also very gentle with the procedure, I didn’t even realize it was done. Morgan was also very nice and easy going, paid attention to make sure i wasn’t choking on my saliva lol (very important imo). Place was super clean and nice too. Loved the netflix and headphone while getting my cleaning done. i call them my boujee dentist! Front staff are also very welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

I had a great experience at Newbury Dental. It is a beautiful clinic and all of the staff are very kind and pleasant. My very first time meeting them I had to get a big procedure done unexpectedly. His dental assistant was a sweetheart, attentive and was always checking in on me from start to finish. Dr. Ngai has great bedside manner and is very professional. Very friendly dental office. Dr. Lee always takes a time to explain the reasoning and ensure you are informed. I have been visited 4-5 different dental offices near South Edmonton but not always satisfied with dental work or services. However, Dr. Lee was different. She is truly caring and compassionate about her clients. All staffs are so passionate about helping people and it was such a wonderful experience being there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Lee to my family and closest friends (in fact, my whole family members planning to move here!)

July 12 ,2022 was my 6 months checkup and cleaning.Dr. Marcus and his assistant did a great job and their attention to details was very much appreciated. Dr. Marcus and staff make you feel comfortable and relaxed in a very modern facility. Very friendly and professional, making you feel like a person and not just another patient. I haved lived in many areas due to my work and have seen many dentists in my life time. He is trusting, caring and explains things clearly. I have never felt more relaxed and comfortable in a dentist office.

My son had his wisdom teeth extracted at Newbury Dental. Dr Ngai was very helpful and patient. He answered all our questions at the appointment to make sure we understand the procedure. After the operation, my son showed side effects from one of the medicines he took. It was Sunday afternoon we had to leave a message. Dr Ngai called back within one hour and listened to our concerns. He gave instructions and told us he would call next morning to follow up. We felt very comfortable that Dr Ngai take good care of his patients.

Dr Ngai was extremely calming and made me feel comfortable / relaxed in the chair. The whole procedure was gentle and painless (had annual check up and my old fillings needed to be replaced) As someone who is quite nervous about going to the dentist, this made the world of a difference and I will be going back for all my regular treatments. I recommend Dr. Ngai to those who want a professional dentist experience that is also friendly and caring! The front desk is also super welcoming

Everyone there from the Front Desk to the head Dentist Doctor are simply just amazing. So friendly, welcoming and truly make you feel so comfortable and well taken care of, not to mention their office is decorated beautifully making you feel calmer from the moment you walk through the doors. It's such a pleasant experience to be in the clinic's bright and nice environment. We were really impressed by the pictures of my son's teeth x-ray and treatment plan projected simultaneously on the big screen in front of the bed. My whole family feels at home when we have appointment in the Newbury dental. It starts from the first steps when you need to change your outdoor shoes to clinic's dental slippers. I recently went in for a routine check-up and cleaning, and had a great experience! The staff seemed very experienced and in sync. Everyone was very friendly, and Dr. Lee was delightful to deal with. Dr. Linda Lee and Kristen (hope I spelled that right) are amazing! I’ve had a cleaning, whitening and a root canal performed. They talk you through each process step by step which I really appreciate. It’s gotten to the point where I just go to sleep during procedures because there is no stress when they are working on my mangled teeth. Emily @ front desk is also super sweet as well. Just a great place to go!

Second time going to Linda with my boyfriend she’s so attentive and the best dentist I’ve found in Edmonton. You can tell she genuinely cares about your teeth and she is so pleasant. I cannot recommend her enough. The clinic is very clean and has a modern design. Another plus, she has TV’s on the ceiling so you can watch something while she works on you. It’s these little details that really elevates Newbury.

Dr. Marcus Ngai is amazing I first saw him in 2013 while in school at NAIT. He is so kind and caring that I knew I was in excellent hands. He was able to restore my smile and give me confidence I had been missing. He has been my only dentist since. Newbury is a big bright clean dental office with lots of light and comfort. They even have blankets and indoor flip flops to keep you cozy during your visit.

Newbury is the best dental clinic I have ever been to. The staff were so knowledgeable and thorough with their explanations in helping me understand what was going on with my teeth and gums and their bedside manner was impeccable.
