I needed a tooth pulled (so I thought) and came in for a consultation. I was convinced to have a root canal instead, which seemed more than reasonable considering I had assumed I would lose the tooth altogether. After 4 appointments and almost $4k I was relieved to not have any more pain and also had a decent looking crown that I was told might last 15 or more years with care. After only 4 months the crown fell off while I was brushing my teeth. All my attempts to book an appointment to glue it back on (calling, emailing, submitting enquiries through the website) were ignored. As I was moving away from Sydney soon, I only had a month or two to get this done. Nobody ever called back or contacted me to book or confirm an appointment. It seemed like they wanted nothing to do with it. Even when I got someone on the phone they assured me they'd call back to book something and never did. Then I moved away and have been living with a $4k hole in my mouth and no support unless I just pay for it all over again somewhere else.

The dentists here are amazing and I recommend them highly. They're very professional but fun at the same time. They genuinely care, and costs are good. Especially when you add on the smile membership. I'm a bit of a nervous patient (childhood thing, totally not their fault). I rocked up here many years ago, needing a tooth pulled, because I hadn't been to a dentist in like 20yrs. There was no judgement from them, just a desire to help in the best way possible. Over time, their positivity and affordability has helped me overcome those original fears. I still go in with *some* residual anxiety, but every single time I come out feeling like I'm on top of the world. If you're reading this and considering Newtown Elite, just go ahead and book in. Your teeth won't heal themselves, but these dentists can do the magic for you.

I have just been for my first visit here. Wonderful friendly staff and felt welcomed and at ease when I arrived. I saw the dental surgeon Alice who was so friendly and she explained everything in detail that needed to be done plus several options depending on budget and what needed to be done in future appointments. Totally painless appointment, very professional, not rushed. I felt very calm and relaxed! Was great watching the TV on the ceiling and most of all I'm am very impressed with the work that was done on my tooth. I would highly recommend this Dental surgery and am handing out cards to work colleagues.

Absolutely outstanding dentist. This dentist is easily the best I've been to as an adult. They are absolutely a clear cut above any other dentist I've seen. The practice uses technology I have never seen anywhere else. The 'scale and clean' they performed on me took an hour and was more thorough than I have ever experienced. All staff were highly skilled and professional and most importantly the service was warm and friendly. They are not more expensive than any other dentist either. They're just very good at their jobs and they care. Won't be going anywhere else. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent treatment, kind, caring and thorough staff! I just had a clean at Newtown Elite Dental - the dental clinician Sam was great. He checked my oral health and how my oral hygiene is going. He picked up on quite a few things and gave me input and advice without being judgemental or pushy. The clean itself was great and very thorough. The assistant was helping the whole time - I have difficulties breathing through my nose and didn't have any issues with gagging. I'm very happy to recommend Elite Dental. My wife even gave me a compliment about my clean teeth when I got home!

I’ve been looking for a new dentist, and believe I have found one! Beatrice was so lovely, and the hygienist (I am so sorry, I have forgotten her name) was so beautiful too. The receptionist (Catherine?) was an angel. Central location in the middle of King St - I live ten minutes away, but if you’re travelling by public transport, Newtown station is ten minutes’ walk, and if you’re driving in there’s lots of street parking (caveat being that this IS central Newtown so…) there’s Netflix on the ceiling if you need a distraction too!

I had a great experience at Newtown Elite Dental. I accidentally broke one of my front teeth just after new year's day when everything (including my usual dentist) is closed. I wasn't sure where to go, but Newtown Elite Dental was open, so I just walked in without an appointment and asked if they could help me. They managed to fit me in on the same day and did a great job fixing my tooth. Both receptionist and dentist were lovely, professional and friendly. I can definitely recommend Newtown Elite Dental!

All the staff here is incredible and knowledgeable. Dr Joanne and Kristi have been supportive and life changing. During my initial assessment, they noticed that my airways looked small and ineffective and recommended a sleep study. Following that, I discovered I had apnea and started using a CPAP machine and finally discovered what a restful night of sleep felt like. Without their assessment, I would have continued thinking that my tiredness was only the product of a busy life. Cannot recommend enough.

Best dentist I've ever been ! I recommend to all my friends. So yes it's a bit expensive but you definetly get what you payed for ! What a great team ! I've been going since January got all my teeth fix never had an issue after that . Best cleaning ever aswell with lots of recommendation to keep your mouth in perfect condition. Dr Zorika is fantastic. I am really not good with dentists after a traumatic childhood incident but she is calm, patient, very gentle and kind. Happy gas helps a lot too. Cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone else who's terrified of the dentist. The practice manager Catherine is incredibly kind and helpful as well. She listened to my concerns, took them on board and is excellent with communication. I cannot recommend the practice enough.

After losing a major filling on the morning of my 60th birthday party and finding my usual dentist wasn't available until Monday, I was incredibly grateful to Newtown Elite Dental for fitting me in at short notice. It was quite a big job but the dentist (Zorica) was fantastic, as well as really lovely. Such an excellent dentist and dental hygienist! This practice was recommended to me by a neighbour and I was delighted to discover that they discount their services for RPAH staff. The Denticare plan that they arranged for me meant that I could complete extensive dental work in a timely fashion. The dental nurses and receptionist are all wonderful too. Nice calming and classy decor inside. Diana, assistant and Dr Joanne are very professional, friendly, focused and through during my annual check up and gave me very informative advice. Scaling techniques are almost withb no irritation on teeth. Highly recommend for those not happy with current dentist.

My 6yrs old son had a filling done recently. He was so ... scared of the needle and didn't want to do it in the beginning, but Dr Joanne was amazing with him and made it a great experience for him! Having Netflix on the ceiling of the room definitely made him forget about the needle and the drill!
