Well first time trying the food, the food at Nick's Takeaway. The food was ok can't call it the best burger, but it did fill the belly. I was looking for the owner nick but he is an asian dude. The food was hot and fresh and came quite quickly. They charge $5 bucks for a small chips and $10 bucks for a buger with the lot. Not bad I could be encouraged to eat there again. If you don't like bbq sauce remember ask for tomato sauce when you order your food. If you want to try a place, will do the job on your hunger. Thought I would try it out so went in yesterday, was not busy when we first arrived. It started getting busy while waiting for food, we ended up waiting for 25/30 minutes for our order to get home to see it was the completely wrong order and we were also over charged. Chips weren’t the best, we don’t eat crab sticks so they went to waste but the corn dogs were nice. The lady who took our order either did not listen to our order we repeated 4 times or they just decided to give us the complete wrong order because we waited for ages.

I buy take aways from this milk bar. There are two tables there if someone want to eat in. Usualfare-fish/chips and scallops (very good) other foods as well. I have not asked if they also prepare vegan. The owners are polite and friendly

Burger bun was hard as a rock over cooked almost burnt the meat was over cooked & crunchy only had 2 bites and gave it to my dog !!! Not going back & wasting my hard earned dollars on sub par food very disappointing.

I ordered 6 scallop 6 nuggets medium chip and a corn jack I bottle of coke and 2 pop tops firstly git charges $3260 which was over price didn't realise till I was home as I paid eftpos them open up food medium size chips 2 corn jacks and a seafood stick what an absoult joke never again will I go there ever

When visiting my brother and his family in Doonside, we often go to Nicks Takeaway to pick up some lunch for the family. The staff there are very nice to deal with and the takeaway foods are always fresh and good value. I don't often buy take out foods these days, but this place is exceptional.

Best fish and chip shop in blacktown ive tried several other shops and nothing compares to here. The burgers aren't thin they taste amazing and the chips and scallops are tasty i also love there seafood sticks to. This is my go to and I wont go anywhere else now.

While in Sydney for the weekend I came across Nicks Takeaway, they made the best fish and chips I’ve had since living back in NZ. The service was excellent and friendly staff. I live in Regional NSW but will definitely be coming back just for their food …

Ordered a small chips & received literally a handful of soggy under cooked chips very disappointing new owners have destroyed the reputation of nicks take away we need nick back ! The new owners have no care for the food or customers !

Food was decent, but the person serving us was either tired or annoyed, working in hospitality I can understand and appreciate being tired, but there isn't a reason to be rude to someone buying from you especially when it isnt busy.

As soon as Tony sold this joint the fish cocktails and potato scallops seemed to have shrunk by about 50%. They are tiny now. A little disappointed guys.

Best Burger joint out west, try them out and u will see oldschool burgers where the pattie size is still huge. Always hit them up when I am in the mood for oldschool burgers and scallops done right.

Always and awesome feast from Nick's Takeaways. Chips are my favourite. A lil heavy on the salt for my liking but only when the missus orders

The owner of the shop is very rude don’t treat the customer in the right manner . The shop does not change its oil it’s thick as black plus staff is rude and unfriendly.

If you want soggy unsalted chips somehow straight from the vat then this is it! Double thumbs up if you want to pay too much for it as well!

Chips are fresh, burgers are great. Kids enjoyed their battered savs and scollops too.

Very affordable takeaway food... they served hot chips aswell.. staff is so friendly.
