Wow.....I am absolutely gobsmacked at the tactics and behaviour of this store and its staff (Well the one that served us anyway). What has happened to the world today? Do sales people need to scoop so low as to lie and deceit people? Luckily I was with my 70 year old mother who was looking to purchase a new dining table and chairs on Sunday the 4/6/23 otherwise they definitely would have taken her for a ride. Kept promising a 2 day change your mind option the entire time over and over again, if unsure just add it to the list you have 2 days to change your mind so don't stress he was staying. Get to the counter and then says oh yeah if you change your mind its a $49 fee. Why would you not state that from the beginning. That is misleading to say the least. A 1% fee on Credit card payments - that's $50 on a $5000 sale. Ok well go to the atm and withdraw cash. Oh sorry sir we don't except cash he says and laughed? Cash is legal tender last I checked and whilst it might be a business decision to accept cash then at least offer to wave the 1% fee of people hard earnt money. The kicker the delivery cost $210 oh and they take cash??? Really are you serious?? so they take cash? who would of thought? Do they take the rubbish with them and carboard boxes? No he says! why not? for that price I would expect they would clean the area as well afterwards. Absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had from a brand that is suppose to on top of the game. Had it been me I would have walked away, but my mum is too old to be dragging around store to store especially after we spent all that time picking out this dining table and chairs. Will never buy from Nick Scali again and will be sure to pass on my customer service experience to everyone I know! - 0 stars in my book! Take a good hard look at yourselves.

WARNING! DO NOT PURCHASE A COUCH FROM THEM! Extremely unhappy with the service at Nick scali bankstown . Would give them 0 stars if I could. Order got cancelled and $1300 deposit forfeited. When I called, they said my couch was getting delivered in a month but it turns out it was already sitting in the warehouse even though I had already paid for delivery in with my deposit (they blamed me not knowing it was in the warehouse when their own employees told me it would be on its way to my house in a month). They emailed the wrong address (and told me the email did not bounce back so someone has actually received an email with all my personal information) which is a massive privacy issue as they don’t care who they are sending your personal information to. The email had my home address, bank details and full name. This is absolutely unacceptable. They have now put the blame on me for not chasing up my order by going in store. Why would I chase it up when I was told on the phone that it would be delivered in a months time? Do they think I have all the time in the world to be following up on something that should be looked after by them? Very disgusted by the regional manager Gus’ decision to not refund our deposit after the incompetency from the Nick Scali staff. It clearly shows that Gus and his team at Nick Scali truly couldn’t care less about their customers and are just after your money. Please take your money elsewhere - we have never experienced this at any other furniture store even after newly furnishing an entire two storey house (king living is leagues better at customer service and does not rip you off) p.s. don’t trust their Instagram. They delete comments they don’t like instead of addressing the issue.

The only good thing about Nick Scali is your product and your delivery team(delivery team is amazing) Everything in relation to service has been really bad. Wrong information provided around min waiting time for product. Store says 6 mth and then starts haunting you after 3 mth and that is hard for customers who are building new home and need exact waiting time. The store totally went back on their word and stated they can't do anything. I was offered to cancel my order with no refund. I had to pay for rented space for keeping the couch They never told that product can be ready within 3 mth but always say 6 mth The store also told us that delivery any day of the week. Comes time for delivery, then delivery team tell us in my post code they only delivery on Monday to Friday only not weekends. Meaning I had to take time off from work just to receive the delivery. I will never ever come back. The experience was disgraceful.

The Worse Experience Ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM Nick Scali. I wish I listened to the reviews on here before I bought, I thought to myself what ever people have bad experiences but wow. Purchased ADW, it took them 8 months to eventually send someone to clean the couches, the stains are all still there and now I am told its my fault. Got screamed at by the manager of the ADW team over the phone, staff at the Bankstown store where arrogant and straight up told me I am on my own. On top of that I was lied to at time of sale, which I will accept is my fault for believe the lies they told and not reading the fine print. I was at fault for expecting better from Nick Scali who brand themselves as being a more higher end company who care for their customers. $5,000 down the drain, they don't care about you, they will lie and sweet talk you, then as soon as you sign you are on your own. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

:) wow. The moment the sale closed, the back end experience with shipping and warehousing is just horrible. Total price is topped with hidden fees and charges that they never informed you beforehand. Received 3 texts from 3 different numbers. One said my couch coming next Mon. One said please confirm delivery date no late than Fri. One said delivery could be booked from next Monday forward All the numbers look like scam. On top of that, they demand “balance paid today” when sent the message at 17.06pm in the afternoon Don’t you know bank cut off time is before 5pm??? Rude!! When we tried to call the store the next day, they said their system was down?!? What, your system is in the 80s or something? Should have listened to the negative reviews on Google. Also, paying for shipping doesn’t mean they will take the packaging with them. Don’t think they will make any more sale out of me!

By far the WORST customer experience I've ever experienced. The team is so desperate to make a sale they will promise everything and then fail to deliver. We purchased a couch from there on the basis it would arrive (6-8 weeks MAX) once we move into our new house and we have been in there for over a month now with no couch (10 weeks+). Yasmin (Manager) is the worst person to speak to and has absolutely NO customer service skills. I have never felt so spoken down to, belittled and made to feel like I am in the wrong before. There has been NO open communication throughout the whole process and we have had to call them and chase them up every time and it has been so exhausting and pointless in the end. If you're thinking of purchasing from this store, save yourself the trouble and don't. As for us, still no couch and our deposit refund was refused. A great matter for FairTrade NSW.

Absolute joke! Nick scali service is amazing till you pay in full, they could careless after that! Lied about delivery time 7 months literally received a full house furniture in droplets dining chairs came 2months before the table. By the time my coffee table arrived the leather lounge stitching had already come undone and cushioning had collapsed this furniture was for a house with no children (a couple). Delivery company they use take per flight of stairs and were a nightmare to deal with. And before responding to this message with "im sorry to hear this" bullcrap! please stop embarrassing yourselves and go fix your service team rudness. Sold them for much less then what I bought them for to get rid of them. Just recently bought from king furniture amazing quality amazing service definitely will never go back to cheap quality like Nick scali again. Horrible experience!

The worst customer service. We put a down payment for a lounge June last year. Nick Scali agreed to deliver it in September. Instead they deliver in December. We called the store they never answer the phone, if they answer, they will tell you a manager will call you back, of course the busy manager never call back. After delivering the lounge, it was faulty, We arranged a service, the next available is after 1 month and 10 days. As with all Nick Scali staff, the service never showed, we called again Nick Scali claimed that the next available service is in 1 month. Thank you very much Nick Scali, we waited extra 3 month for the product delivery and now we have to wait at least 2 months to fix the expensuve piece of junk you delivered.

Do not buy from nick scali, they take your money promise you the world and then make you wait 8-9months for the product, do not tell you it’s been postponed and then after waiting patiently tell you that you can have your money back, HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE from floor staff to phone operators no one takes accountability for the stuff ups and when you ask for a manger they direct you to an email, the Experience at nick scali is the worst I’ve ever experienced and will never buy from them again, in the last month they have rescheduled my order 5 times and still cannot give me a delivery date, pathetic shonky business and all customers should know that once they take your money you get the coke shoulder..

Never again. We bought a dining table and eight chairs from them, the table they had on the floor was bigger then the size we needed, they advised that they can get a smaller size, when we asked whether the chairs fit in the smaller size table the answer was yes. When delivered, four of the chairs did not fit. The two small ends of the table could not fit a chair and the long side of the table could only fit two instead of three on each side. So out of the 8 chairs we can use 4 only. They refused to return and when they admit their mistake, they wanted to charge us $320 restocking fees to return two chairs. So either we stuck with chairs we cannot use or be $320 out of pocket.

What a regret to purchase my dining room set and lounge from Nick Scali!! 14 weeks later and still no lounge (meant to be 9-11...) Delivery dates changed THREE times in the coarse of a month. I work during the week, I do not have time to take all this time off to sit at home and wait for the furniture to be messaged 17 hours prior that my lounge cannot be delivered for another week. The manager at Bankstown was extremely rude - I completely understand it is out of the stores control but the lack of professionalism and care makes me extremely frustrated. If I could rate my experience with no stars I would - Do not bother wasting your time!

Purchased couch in October 2020, STILL WAITING. Originally told mid January and we would be given a phone call in December ( we did not receive a call). They actually called after asking if we were still interested in buying a couch (no joke). We ended up calling them late December and was told it's been delayed to mid February. Received a phone call from them late January advising it's due to come mid February. We called them today to confirm what day and was told it's still on a container for delivery. "Should be" MID MARCH now. No explanation at all.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Absolute rubbish policies that they don’t mention to you and hide from you because all they want to do is sell. They force and hurry you to buy by saying everything’s selling out when really they have plenty of stock. All they care about is money and don’t even care about the customer and the amount hardworking people are spending. Money hungry, greedy workers. Don’t even bother walking into this hell place that rely on their commission. Go get another higher paying job if money is all you care about. Rubbish

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON ACCIDENTAL COVER. When it was time to claim for a small damage, they want to know exactly how it happened. What do they want me to do put CCTV on my couches to see exactly how and what happened. I have kids and God knows what happened, maybe they did something to it. I couldn't prove it and they would not fix it. After asking for my $290 back, had it fixed for $150 and $140 in my pocket. The salesman there will tell you it's best to pay accidental cover, but will not tell you you have to prove how the damage happened.

Absolutely poor customer service! Staff made promises that were not kept including being told of a 6 week wait time but receiving the product 5 months later, inaccurate delivery dates where arrogant staff members asked us to be available at a time that suits them, and finally, after taking time off to be at home for delivery between a certain time, the driver advised that this was incorrect information that instore staff provided. Extra charges, horrendous customer service, mediocre product and an overall terrible experience. Shop elsewhere!

Hide terms in the contract. Smile at you till you sign then you are introduced to office staff that are very rude and extremely unpleasant to deal with. I have bought from a number of furniture stores in the past and have never experienced worse than nick scali. Would not buy from them ever again. Made me wait 4 months for something that was meant too come in 2 months. Refused to refund. Delivered it with tears and malfunctions and then say we are covered in our terms and conditions Just disgusting

Worst place ever! You can’t call the store, every time you do it sends you to an overseas call centre who promise to get the store to call you but they don’t! Was told maximum wait would be 01/07, I’m still waiting for follow up call or emails but nothing so I chased up the couch to be told there’s a 3 week delay, which is fine in todays world, then I had to follow up again to be told more delays!! NICK SCALI JUST LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW!! If I could give a 0 I would.

Absolutely disgusted in the customer service pay $4000 for lounges and than be forced to pay an extra $90 for delivery and than once they come won’t take the boxes away and dump it with my poor grandmother never ever again buy from them than once I call them they won’t put me through to the manager Do not buy from them very rude customer service do not treat paying customer s right Will tell about the disgusting behavior and customer service!!

Gus is so dry faced and rude. All I was asking for was a qoute and they will not give me one. The reason is because the prices may change. Well every other store happily provides written qoutes. This is the worst Nick Scalia store with low grade customer service. There is a lady there who speaks with microphone loudness even when she's standing besides you. It's gloomy and ugly. Would never recommend this store.

Staff lied to make the sale, broke promises, broke contract and took no accountability. They will happily let the phone ring for 5-10 minutes before answering and are then argumentative when they do. I wish I had read all the other comments before setting foot in their store. Fuad, you are a lying snake.

We were persuaded by staff to buy the sofa leather insurance. Two weeks before the delivery day, we changed the mind and wanted to cancel the insurance, but the staff refused our request with reason which does not make any sense. We even have not received the good, why we cannot cancel the insurance

Went in today looking at couches, this place is a scam the on sale price was more then the original price tag on the lounge the sales man try to tell me it was on sale but seems they forgot to take off the original tag off the couch which was less then the sale price, Great work Mr sales man

We went to Nick Scali looking for a new leather couch, attracted by TV and online advertising. Sadly, we were disappointed by the showroom lounge being on dirty condition as were the sample leather colour pack & the unsatisfactory answers to questions. We bought elsewhere on the same day.

Very bad experience with Nick scali. Please be very careful with the delivery time they promised you. They keep delaying shipment and the policy made by company is absolutely cheat customer . Very bad service not willing to help customer ! Please be very careful with these sale people.

It took half a year to get my Sofa to be delivered. The sofa is good. But the service is horrible. The driver gave me the wrong care kit, I have to call them more than 3 times to sort it out. And still not receiving the correct care kit yet... It's better to stay away from this store.

The customer service during delivery was not up to the standard. Delayed delivery after 3 months wait with no apology. Tried to coarce me to pay balance before delivery while I was away, although the sale invoice clearly had the pay on delivery option in it.

Extremely overpriced for what you get and long wait times for furniture to be delivered. I recommend going to Harvey Norman or other furniture shops like Ikea, so you don't get ripped off.
