Was a nice evening enjoying the Aquatennial’s CenterPoint Energy Torchlight Parade on Nicollet Mall beginning at 12th Street and running to 4th Street. Beautiful displays and bands march through the heart of Mpls, Downtown.
Take a stroll down beautiful Nicolette Mall in downtown Minneapolis. Lots of shopping, more restaurants then you’ll be able to eat at in a month and make sure and stop by to say hello to Mary Tyler Moore (pictured below).
A friend and I were out and about for the final four festivities and not only did we feel safe but enjoyed the games, food, and music. Nicollet showed out and created space to watch the game and meet new people from
Nicollet Mall still looks good after it's most recent refresh. The homeless are everywhere, but they don't seem to cause much trouble. Safe until 11pm. After that, be aware of your surroundings & you should be fine.
Very few stores. Supposedly there's miles of skywalks connecting everything but many were closed, and it was just a lot of walking around seeing empty halls and empty store fronts.
Took the kid downtown before it got too cold and went and checked out the YMCA and had some incredible views of the buildings. He loves riding the train also.
not quite a “mall”- mainly a target store and a few shops and outdoor eating area. buildings at inter- connected - no need to walk outdoors...

So much to do on Nicollet Mall. We had brunch and fresh squeezed Orange juice and champagne mimosas at FIRE LAKE AT THE RADISSON BLUE
Very pleasant walk with lots of trendy stores, restaurants, pubs, and public art almost at every turn. Spacious, never crowded.
The Dayton's Project runs from Black Friday to December 30th. It's a great opportunity to support Minnesota makers!
