"Fairly inexpensive food"
"EDIT: Looks like the entire team changed recently"
"Went to the Noodle Wok on New Years Day with my Wife for some dinner and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food"
"I thought they were a lot better before but then again that was almost 25 years ago and I haven't been back since"
"I used to love this place back in the day"
Fairly inexpensive food. I don't really remember how it tasted, but I saw them on Insauga.ca as being one of the best takeout places in Mississauga. So my experience: I set up a pickup for a specific time but when I got there (and I was about 5 minutes late) they started making the food. One of the dishes got messed up and they had to fix it (but they noticed that before I did) Made me run another 15 minutes behind for the next pickup I needed to do (was doing a few food runs for a party). All the other places I went to that day were ahead of time. I probably should have used Uber eats for multiple pickups. They were cash only, something they did not state on the phone when my wife ordered. Had to use an ATM there (I hate ATM charges). The people running the shop were nice and added in extra chopsticks for my order. I think the service was good, friendly and pretty quick (other than not having the ~$75 dollar order ready at the time specified. We ordered at 11am, for pickup at 4:30pm). This may have been a case of, better not start the food until we know the customer will be here. My guests enjoyed the food, so that was a good thing. I will have to try them again and see if the experience is better now that I know what to expect.
EDIT: Looks like the entire team changed recently. The food tastes COMPLETELY DIFFERENT in a BAD WAY. The szechuan chicken tasted nothing like it was before, i had to spit it out. The black bean chicken was a bit closer to its original taste, but it tasted fishy, still very different. I think they're putting the right ingredients but the ratio of ingredients is all wrong. Not sure if the original owners sold the restaurant, but whatever the reason is for this, please fix this. Ho fun noodles go bad very quickly. It seems like the new owners don't know this because my black bean chicken ho fun noodles were rotten. Could tell the moment I put it in my mouth. Chicken was slightly rotten too. Old review: So good. We always order takeout and portions are really big. But I always wonder why they're not on Ubereats. They're sales would liiterally 10x. I know they have their own delivery service, but it's wayyy less work to just use ubereats as a cusutoemr (no need to call, etc). I hope they read this because I'm sure there are others like me who would order from them way more if they did that. Your food is too good to not be easily accessible to people!

Went to the Noodle Wok on New Years Day with my Wife for some dinner and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. My wife had General Tso chicken on rice and it was very runny , Bland ( no real taste ) and the chicken was hard like it was fried three times over. My dinner was the black bean chicken on noodles and my experience was the same , it was very runny and tasteless , I could see some black beans but the food had no black bean taste at all , and as I said tasteless , we also ordered a large shrimp WonTon soup and this was the same as the food , the shrimp wontons no real taste and no taste to the broth ( soup ) at all , I had been here twice before many years ago with no issues so I’m not sure what the problem is now. We eat out often at the Asian malls and in Chinatown and have never had food this bad. All I can say that is positive is that the staff was very nice and friendly , I did not have the heart to take all the food back up to the counter to complain and ask for my money back which was a waste of $40. We will not be going back.

I thought they were a lot better before but then again that was almost 25 years ago and I haven't been back since. I used to come here with my uncle a lot when I was young and it was really good as I remember it. They interior hasn't changed at since they opened only thing that's changed is their menu board as it got updated. Their prices are really cheap and the food is ok really good wok hei. There are plenty of parking in the rear as well as an entrance there. They food comes out piping hot and quick, we ordered 4 dishes and everything was out in under 10 minutes flat. We ordered the deep fried spicy shrimp, seafood congee (to go), wonton noodles, and a hot and sour soup noodle. the whole meal cost about $31 which is still fairly good. I found that the food now is bland and needed extra seasoning. I think if it's a quick bite, cheap and just something to fill you up Noodle Wok will do. Feijai Out!
I used to love this place back in the day. But now I will never go back. Presently, the last two times I have been here, I have encountered rude behavior from the cashier taking my order. The establishment is also dirty and the food is horrible. The cashier speaks broken English and it took me 5 minutes just to get the order straight with her due to the lack of understanding on her part. She then made me feel like I was a fool due to what was happening. She was making comments in Chinese to her coworker and laughing at me. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and general tao chicken. Both orders were undercooked and the texture was like chewing rubber. I also had an order of chicken fried rice that had absolutely no taste to it and felt like I was eating left-overs from the day before. When they first opened they were great! But now they are rude, dirty and serve poor quality food.
I used to work at IBM, and we often had lunch at the Noodle Delight there, so I was happy when I found that there was a Mississauga branch. This one left the chain and became Noodle Wok a few decades ago, and so far as I can tell, they just added a few more dishes. The portions are large, the food is fresh, and the prices are good. They raised their prices recently when they got the new signs, which I think is the first time either has happened in over a decade. There's a huge variety of beef, chicken, vegetarian, and fish dishes, with lots of rice and noodle options as well. I rotate through several of their dishes; they're all pretty good. If you don't like one, try another, they have a few hundred, it seems. It's a lunch counter, not a fine dining restaurant, so don't expect to impress a date there, but if you want good food, and lots of it, I recommend it.
Definitely best as a take out option as the dining area leaves to be desired however our family has been eating there for over 15yrs now and the food is consistent and absolutely delicious. Lots of different options on the menu all amazing and great value for the money. Make sure that you bring cash though as they do not accept any other form of payment and the cash machine in the restaurant has a steep dispensing fee.

I used to go there and ordered Basil Beef with crispy noodles. Today, my husband and I choose this place for dinner because I wanted crispy noodles. It was 7:40 p.m. So We've decided to have our dishes inside the restaurant. They cooked several meals for their customers who ordered takeout. My order was moved to later again. After I was waiting for my food for almost 30 minutes, I had to yell at them and cancel my order. And the lady was making me "How about your "house delight" and "Basil beef??" "Who cares about my order? You?". They raised the price but foods are not getting better or fancier. There is no point to rais the price but it is not my decision. I just will not go to this place anymore.

This is some of the best quick Chinese food you can buy in Mississauga! As a Chinese person who grew up with Noodle Wok, I can definitely tell you there is some quality and authenticity to their foods and selections. It never takes more than 15 mins to receive you food and it is all cooked to order. If you sit close to the front you can even see the large flames under the wok. This is definitely a good place to go if you want huge portions, good foods, for a really decent price! Also as their name suggests, i really recommend trying any of their noodle dishes (i had tried a beef satay/curry and it was phenomenal). Overall a fantastic little noodle shop in Mississauga and definitely beats any “Canadian Chinese” food chains.
The seafood chow mein was very goopy and was covered in a lot of gel. This texture was not very appetizing. Also, the taste was very bland. The beef ho fun was very tasty. Portions are good for what you pay for. Service and find was quick. I came here 20 years ago and the atmosphere has not changed. They still have the same menu and pictures...very outdated. They accept cash or etransfer only. There is an atm on site.

Ordered a soup and while standing in front of the kitchen watching the man cook my food, he pulled his mask down and tasted the soup with the same spoon he was cooking with. That was the most disgusting thing ever. I told the lady who took my order, that he just put his mouth on the spoon he was cooking my food with and I dont want it anymore. She said "ok don't worry I make next one for you. I said I don't want him to cook my food. So she had another person cook my food. I sat down to eat, but couldn't eat just thinking of what else do they when your not watching. So I threw out the food and left. I would not be going back there.

I got the wonton soup based on the Google review saying it's authentic it's not authentic Chinese cuisine The menu has Japanese fried rice Manchurian fried rice Fu Jian fried rice Yang Chow fried rice Pineapple fried rice Does this sound authentic to you? Which are all from different regions let alone different country Authentic wonton are bigger and comes with green onions This came with Canadian brocoli and carrots The broth was bland I should have clued in when they gave me a fork instead of chopsticks and that there weren't any Chinese customers It's a great canadianized Chinese food and the portion is good

Well finally some decent take out Chinese food! Considering the size of the population in mississauga that is Chinese you'd think we'd have decent take out but they are far and few between. Noodle Wok is pretty good though. Generous amounts of food crammed into Styrofoam containers ( beware-anything with sauce WILL leak all over because they fill it so full) Excellent springrolls. General Tao chicken was delicious. Spicy chicken fried rice was really good... and a generous portion. Cash only but ATM on site. Very busy but that means fresh food every time. Speedy service at the counter and they double check your order for accuracy with you before you leave.
Highly recommend this place! Lots of amazing food. Old school favourite Chinese take out restaurant. So many great dishes here! I recommend the spicy fried squid which is great. Ho fan beef or ho fan vegetarian are great. Recommend their famous breaded black bean boneless chicken on steamed rice or on skinny egg noodles which is a popular and delicious dish! Yang chow fried rice is great. General Tao’s chicken on skinny egg noodles is excellent. We also ordered their catering for special events in the past. Cash only take out. Open kitchen style where you can see your food being made. Recommend this place which has been around for decades.
My family and I have been coming here for what feels like over 30 years (I remember being really little) and it's just become one of those places that brings back so many memories with so many people, especially with our late father. To celebrate his birthday, we came to Noodle Wok. The chefs are different but the place is the exact same- which is probably the best thing about it. It always makes us feel like we are kids again. The food has always been consistent over the years - tasty, cheap and huge portions! I hope this place never shuts down so that someday we could take the next generation of our kids to Noodle Wok.
Definitely my go to place for Chinese fast food! Service is excellent. Food is very good on all levels. Only downside is they don't take debit or credit card, only cash

We used to love coming here. I've been tasting Noodle Wok since I was a small child (20+ years): when there was the man with glasses announcing orders loudly over the speaker system, when the colours on the walls were bright, when the pictures of the first food items weren't faded. Unfortunately, it seems as though the business has been passed on to someone else as the quality seems different. The menu has been updated and they wear new uniforms but the food has declined. Hopefully , this place can return to it's former greatness.
Recently tried this place and it is really good! Big serving, fresh, tastes great and reasonably priced! I regret that we have not tried this place sooner. Beef brisket is a must try! Big serving, great price, tastes great, friendly staff. The decor is dated but the place is clean. Small washroom, no changing table. You have to enter through burnhamthorpe rd, the plaza where shoppers drugmart is does not connect with this plaza, so dont try to come in from there. Parking is quite spacious, pwd parking is available.
Probably one of the best Chinese food places I have ever tried. I had the pork and pineapple fried rice, vegetable spring rolls and General Tao Chicken. These Items were simply unbelievable. I’m so impressed with this place, I can’t wait to go again. I want to try everything on their menu. English is not good over the phone, but the quality of the food is to die for. Special mention of their General Tao. Omg these guys do it perfectly. At last I have found a place that understands how to prepare this dish.
The menu is heaven! There is so much to choose from! Their prices are amazingly affordable. The food portion for the price is a STEAL! They stuff those containers to the max. The food was flavorful... maybe needing a littttttttle salt on some of the items. The staff was super friendly and patient, thank goodness because I'm sure they understand how massive the menu is. Anyways, dont be fooled by the outside appearance, I HIGHLY recommend this place! ... no reservation required though.
We used to order here a lot. But the last time we bought from here it's not as good as it used to be. Not sure if it's because one of their main cooks no longer seems to still work there. Everything tasted different. I understand the prices going up, but it would have made it all worth it if the food still tasted as delicious as it did before. I would have loved to give it a good rating, but it was such a disappointing experience. I'll always miss how good it was.
Always a great meal for our whole family. Extensive menu. Bring cash, as they are cash only.

Love this place. Loved it when I was in Elementary School, still love it now. My "go-to"s are always the house delight (crispy noodle with a vegetable and beef sauce that you pour on it and the noodle eventually softens) and the (greasy) crispy chicken wings [not recommended if you're on a diet]. Another family favourite of ours is the beef brisket soup. Almost always do take out but my two "go-to's" I mentioned are about $15 altogether.
Cheap Chinese food, fresh, fast and great portions this was only $13 each (taxes included). People were quick and helpful. No frills type of place , the new website is great with lots of options and pictures too

Got seafood soup which was a solid ball of floating, bland noodles and one piece of broccoli and a few shrimp. My friend had the same issue with the seafood chow mein. The noodles were clumped together and when separated turned into a soggy and slimy mess. More meat and vegetables than in the soup but extremely flavorless. Probably the worst in the way of oriental food I've ever had.
This place has been around for years. They have the best shrimp wonton soup. The portions are huge and they have a very big menu to choose from. Lots of vegetarian options.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going to it for 5 years now and there is something about it. The people, the food, the style of the place. It’s what you would expect from a noodle place. I know some people that have be going to it for 25 years and they love it. Their shanghai noodles or beef ho fun is great. Love the hot and sour soup. You won’t go wrong with anything.
I haven't been there in years, so I don't know how helpful this review would be, but have had fond memories growing up eating their fried chicken and spring rolls! Only had chicken like that one other time in my life, and I've missed it! I am so glad it's still up and running with the original signage! ❤️ Will definitely make a point to come back- was always a great experience!
This place consistently delivers excellent food at an unbelievable value! Eat in or take out, you will leave satisfied and full. Choose from hundreds of different options on noodles or rice. Lots of appetizers and 'american' Chinese food alongside limited traditional Chinese dishes. Highly recommend. This location was also voted the #1 Chinese restaurant in Mississauga.
This is the BEST chinese food in the CITY by FAR how this dosn't have 5 star i dont understand this place has good prices gives you LOTS of food and the taste is Amazing You cant have all 3 Usually its overpriced and taste good 2 of the 3 But this place is amazing cheap/tastes amazing /gives alot of food If you do not check this place out you are out of your mind Enjoy
I love this little gem. Ask for no MSG ? No problem. Change the menu item a little? No problem. It's been around a long time so that tells you something. Good food at a good price keeps people coming back for more. Bring cash. ATM otherwise, which they have. Although I am far - work and living wise from it now, I will still stop by whenever I am in the area.

Found a hair in my soup and when I went and silently pointed it out to avoid embarrassment for them the cook raised his voice pointed at me and began to scream in his language..it seemed like he was talking trash about me. Quality of food has plummeted really fast...been coming for 12 plus years...wont be returning anytime soon thanks to the rude cook
3rd time ordered fried rice. Disappointed. "I forgot seasoning the rice." Chief told the frontdesk while he was handing the food to me. I was pretending I don't speak Mandarin and said nothing. And, they didn't stop me or say the food was wrong. There was no other customers. My fried rice is the only one order you are cooking. And still got it wrong.
Most of the food here is quite good, sometimes the beef ho fun is awesome, sometimes not the best, but generally good. Definitely good value. This place won't win any prizes for their decor, luckily the food makes up for it, though if I were the owner, I'd invest some money to make the place look as good as the food tastes, that's just my 2 cents.
This the OG spot for Chinese food since the 80s. Not much has changed and that includes the quality of the food. You always know what you're gonna get when you go

This place has been in Mississauga for more than 15 years at least, since l've been here last time, it was 3 or 4 years ago. Cause' of it's only taken cash and used polyester material containers for hot food. It was not good for the health, if you've eaten long enough But food is not bad for trying and delicious with your family and friends.
The food is variable. Sometimes it's very good and sometimes just okay. This time I got a smaller than usual serving and it was not as tasty as usual. Also they have no pepper or Chinese mustard. I was offered a pepper shakers. I prefer mine in little packets. Overall if it's a good day it's good food but sometimes it's just average takeout.
Another Mississauga staple for Chinese food. They lose a star because of the angry lady behind the counter. Customer service goes a long way and when you don't give your patrons the common courtesy of simple respect you lose a star. Nonetheless the beef ho fun is great here! If you go here chances are you've been going here for a long time!
This seem to be under another management. Not the same since I visited this place 5 years ago. The food tasted so bland. We sit down to dine but the plates they provided are just transparent plastic covers for the take-out containers. So weird! It was like eating on the table with out any plates at all. Ha ha ha!
Used to be a loyal customer since day 1 (Noodle Delight). I ordered beef brisket on rice which had 2 pieces of broccoli and 4 pieces of small beef cubes with a whole tray of rice. Their prices have increased a lot but the quantity and quality of what your buying has dropped. Unsatisfied. Mismanaged. Never again.
Ordered general Thao chicken crispy noodles, get the opposite and drowned in red sauce, less chicken

For years I had many lunches there and all good, have not been back for a few years, missed the good food. Decided today to go back and have Kowloon, and Shanghai to go. Got home and opened it up, what a disappoint, quality is poor drowned in soya sauce and burned. Will not be back at all really bad stuff.
Excellent curry rice, refreshing congee and very well organized and kind staff! Would highly recommend this location as they serve excellent food even for those who cannot eat nuts, citric acid or gluten! The location has a nice calm atmosphere and is a great location to relax and catch up with friends!

Great place to try some asian food! I got the Yang Chow Fried Rice and it tasted delicious, hot and fresh. This restaurant only takes cash and no discounts just for your information. The cashier can speak Cantonese and is really friendly to chat with. I look forward to trying other dishes they offer.
New found restaurant as we were near the area. Affordable price, big portion, quick service. But they are not opened for dine in just yet. Takeaway Bangkok pad Thai and lemon chicken. Both are excellent. Wish I had taken photos of the dishes. Would definitely go back again to try some other dishes.
A very old fast food style Cantonese restaurant in mississauga.lot of choices for you to chose from.Food are ok depend on what you order. But it is kind of like a fast food places...so don't expect n compare with other restaurants ...good for person in a rush n come for something fast to eat....
I asked what is their popular beef dishes. The server/cashier gave the Beef brisket. Plenty of rice but few small pieces of beef & 2 piece of Brocolli, just that. The best they can give me? NOT COMING BACK!

Stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad! Their dishes are absolutely delicious! My husband and I liked it so much we went the next night again! The crab fried rice is so yum! My favorite though is the Shanghai with crab. They are so accomodating with subbing in different meats
One word for this place: average. Average prices and average food, there are other places that are much better and places that are worst then this place. There was nothing notable about this place that I could write home about. The only plus side is food comes out fairly quick!
We've been going here since the 90's. Beef Brisket on Rice. I sub the broccoli for carrots though. Their signature chili oil is a must, it elevates the dish!! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture LOL Hence, the half shot.

Amazing quick fresh Chinese cuisine dine in or take out. Awesome prices for a good filling amount of food in that bellay that needs to be stuffed. Parking is at the back south side. Personally falls under my top 5 for Chinese taken out in Mississauga.
My husband and kids love their crispy noodles and general Tao chicken/sweet & sour pork. I found food here are just okay, not authentic chinese cuisine, more like American chinese. Food are prepared fresh and fast, their menus and décor are improving.
If you're looking for tasty and economical Chinese food, locals would probably direct you here. Don't look for anything special here as it's not a restaurant with waiters. The spicy squid with fried noodles is my go to and has never disappointed.
I used to pick food up from Noodle Wok, all the time, but they had a problem with the plumbing in their washroom that, wasn't fixed for a long time. It made the place smell like the sewer, not very appetizing. However, I visited the place
I used to come here all the time and I was in the area and decided to stop in and grab a bite. Terrible customer service the lady was rude and rushing me. When I went to sit down she started yelling at me for sitting down cause she wanted
Noodle Wok has a special place in my heart. Despite the immediate areas in Mississauga becoming more and more bourgeoisie, Noodle Wok has remained a quiet, unassuming place where I've been getting Beef Ho Fun from ever since I was young.
Old school, no frills Chinese fast food. Large portions for a very reasonable price. Don't be fooled by the non descript mall that houses this gem. Easily missed. Plenty of parking in the rear. Brisk take out, fast and friendly service.
Great value for money. I was craving some authentic Chinese food (rather than Indo-Chinese) and went to this place. The Cantonese chowmein was very flavourful The portion size was great as well. I will be going back to this place again.
Lots of noodles in the general tal but only 8 chicken bits. It would also be nice if the order taker smiled considering I was very polite to her. What I had tasted good but should have ordered two if I knew it was going to be so little.
Quality of food has gone way downhill. Food tasted old and over cooked. Quantity of protein in dishes has decreased by 50%. It's just not good anymore.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants! Everything on the menu is good so don't agonize over choosing. Counter service only but they are usually pretty quick with five to ten minutes being a typical wait from order to eating.
Worst chinese food i ever had. Food was horrible and so was the chicken curry, (it had potatoes) and who puts turmeric in chinese dish. Pad thi noodle was bland and vegetables were not even cut properly. Ill never visit them

Good food and good value. Service is not the most friendly but I love calling in my order and just picking it up without waiting. Deep fried spicy squid is a must try! There is a dining area but it is bare bones and basic.
Still for me the best Chinese food in the GTA. In terms of selection and quantity and value, you can't beat this place. I always get ginger beef on rice and ask them to spice it up, and general Tao on noodles. So good!
Is there a better place to get a big pile of fried noodles and/or rice in Mississauga?! Inexpensive, large portions and all cooked very well. Had the General Tao's chicken with half soft, half crispy noodles. Wok hei!
This is a Very decent spot specially if you like your meal to be a soft noodles base . Vegetables are steamed to perfection . I haven't tried any of thier chicken or beef but the shrimps were great . I recommend .
One of my favorite places to go to around the area for quick Chinese food. I love the beef ho fun here along with the yang chow fried rice. Food taste great, portions are awesome and the prices are top notch!
Enjoy eating here. A staple in Mississauga for years. Gotta have the chicken in black bean sauce. That's their signature dish. Everything else is good. Bring cash since they dont take debit. ATM on site.
Delicious Chinese food! Great family run business... generous portions and excellent prices. I highly recommend getting the General Tao Chicken, that is one of my favourites along with the Beef Brisket.
The best single dish meal chinese takeout. I ate here 2-3 times a week for lunch when i used to work close. Now I travel 40 minutes couple times a month. I cant pass the location without stopping in.
I've been coming here for over 20 years. The food is always great. Hasn't changed at all.

Another good place to get fast Chinese food. Their prices are reasonable. Quality of food I found to be somewhat greasy. Too much oil used in their cooking but strangely enough I keep going back.
There is a reason why this place has been in business for so many years! Cheap and cheerful, no-frills type of restaurant, the food is always prepared hot and fresh! A well known spot to locals!
Great spot for decent food. The portions are quite large and at a decent price. I love the Bangkok pad Thai and for 8.99 it will last two days. This is a cash only spot in case you didn’t know.
Love the food. Love the staff. So much selection, very quick to make. Been going since forever when I use to live in Sauga. Always look forward to order food here everyone we visit the in-laws.
Been going to this iconic Sauga Chinese restaurant since the early/mid 90s when my parents would take the whole family here. Food is always hot, fresh & delicious. Thanks !!
There's no wonder this place has been around so long. Great food, nice portions and great prices. Beef brisket is my go to favorite but pretty much everything is delicious!
Large portions. Cash only. Most dishes ordered lacked favour compared to other restaurants. No egg rolls on menu. Quick service. Would I order from there again.... No.
Absolutely disgusting. Their spicy beef noodle soup is NOT even close to spicy. The noodles are bland and the soup is just tap water. General tao chicken ayt though
Easy to find. Food lacked flavour. Was just sweet. No salt at all. Greasy. Place is clean and food is quick prices are regular. Don't think I would go back there.
Cheap, big portions, great tasting, and cooked upon order. What more can you ask for from a Chinese takeout spot? They have a large section for dine in as well.
The rice is fluffy but the chicken balls have the tiniest piece of chicken inside. The same little pieces they use for the fried rice is in the chicken ball.
The food was good, The chicken was tender and tasty. I loved the chowmin with the orange chicken and the spring rolls were good as well as..... More
Staff are friendly and service is fast. But the wahsroom is awful! And it has bad smells.

Ordered beef brisket curry, which wasn't on the menu, but turned out to be surprisingly good. Portion was quite big and price was reasonable.
Used to be my go to place .. Now it's kind of pricey and portions are getting smaller and smaller
