Nordstrom Rack: Great Deals, Friendly Service I recently visited Nordstrom Rack in search of a new blazer for a party. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of brands and styles, and I found a great blazer at a fraction of the price I would have paid at a department store. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were happy to answer my questions about the different brands and styles. They also offered to help me find the perfect size, and they were very patient as I tried on several different blazers. One thing to keep in mind is that the staff at Nordstrom Rack is often overworked, so it's important to be patient with them. I had one experience where the security tag was left in my blazer, but I didn't notice it until I got home. I called the store and they were very helpful in resolving the issue. Overall, I had a great experience at Nordstrom Rack. I found a great blazer at a great price, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Nordstrom Rack to anyone looking for a great deal on designer clothing. Today, I went to do an exchange at this location. I do understand the receipt was more than 30 days old. But I wasnt returning xmas shirt. It is a summer shirt that they still have it on their racks. I called customer service a head of time and they told me the store manager can make an exception and can do both a return or exchange. When I entered the store it was lady who said she is a store manager and she will do the exchange for me. I spend 45 mins to find something with exact same price in the store " 45 MIN". When I went to the cashier, the lady named Nicole apparently she is the manager, too refused to be any help. This is just because I dont speak english or I wasn't a blonde! My family and I were regular customers for the past 10 years, but guess what? We won't be anymore. The funny part is that the shirt was only $26. Nordstrom lost thousands of dollars in future sales for only $26!
Poor customer service. I called about a dress that was the only one in stock in the right size and color for my sister's birthday. It would have completely made her day. The 3rd location I called said they had it at this location and I could call them hold it for me. Alas, it's not their store policy. I showed up at the store and hey had back on the shelves and I couldn't find it anymore. You mean no one could think of holding the dress and putting it back on the shelf if I didn't show up after a designated time? The rep I spoke to was dismissive and clearly not looking to provide good service. There are tiny little ways to show you care about your customers beyond their wallet and this being a store I used to frequent, it's too bad.
I ordered a pair of shoes online. once I picked them up at the store and opened the package, they were only in a clear plastic bag and looked worn. I asked to see a manager to see if I can order a new pair or at least get a discount! let me tell you he was NO HELP! First Shaun -the manager- said all the merchandise from rack looks worn because customers try them on and he repeated it 20 times! Also he can’t give me any discount unless I apply for rack credit card! Other than that My only option is to return them! I went online to order another pair and returned these and I noticed they were marked down. I asked shaun if I can pay the online marked down price for these and I’ll keep them he said NO !!! worst management
It may be a good idea to close fitting rooms at 8:30 pm as announced over the intercom instead of 8:23 pm or earlier. It may help to retrain employees at fitting rooms- if a customer wants to try on clothes several minutes before 8:30 pm and the employee is arguing with them that they've decided to close earlier than what is stated over intercom.... not a good look. Saw several unhappy customers in a short 3 minute span and someone was trying on clothes outside fitting room because an employee decided to close the fitting rooms earlier than stated. I get wanting to close on time... but for customer retention/ sales conversion, it may be best to maintain integrity with something as simple as fitting room closing times.
Was visiting the Houston area and was actually looking for something else that was displaying as "in stock". But, maybe that other item was online. Anywho, it was my first visit inside of any Nordstrom store, let alone, a Nordstrom Rack. I did wander around and found some great deals on shoes (particularly the Converse name brand). I parked in the garage because it was less complicated and not too packed, as it was on the front. I visited this store around 3pm on a Weekday. Did see a lot of clothing all over the place, but I guess I can't expect neatness and a little tidying up, because clearly folks were looking for deals. I'd suggest early morning visits, before noon, if possible.
Update: Was at this location again today and still agree with my original review I love Nordstrom Rack and this location in particular. It's in a shopping strip with an HEB so the parking lot is almost always busy. I personally prefer this as I'm usually shopping here alone, and I like that there's always a lot of people around. But beware if you don't want to deal with a busy parking lot. This store is well organized and well staffed. I have never had to wait in line very long because they will send more people to help out if the line starts to get long. I've also found the people who work there are usually happy to help you if you just ask.
Ivanka, the manager was very professional and very fair. Great customer service; I had an issue and she was able to explain pnp without arguing with a difficult customer (me). She quiet literally ensured customer retention with me and my family by simply making the right executive move without sacrificing the integrity of the company. Talent like this should be promoted before she is recruited elsewhere. She takes pride in her work which translates to her taking pride as a manager of Nordstrom Rack. I went in on Saturday December 30,2023 looking for a New Year’s Eve outfit , I was attended by CHANTEL J. Nordstrom rack should not have employees that are rude and don’t any customer service. She is the worse customer service rep I have encountered at this location. Everyone has always been nice and helped me out. I really hope Nordstrom Rack reviews her performance. I don’t want to go back to this store because of her. When bagging my heels she put them in the smallest bag and threw my receipt. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE

I had a really disappointing experience. I went to return some items without realizing there is a 60 day return policy. I had many items, one of which was from late august (100 days). I asked if I could return the 1 item, and had a very rude curt response from the manager (the sales associate was fine). I used to buy from Nordstrom all the time specifically because of the flexible return policy (I’m influencer status) and that is absolutely not going to be the case any more. Annoying.
Make sure you check your receipt before you leave! I purchased several items and after I left and was already on the highway, I looked at my receipt and realized the cashier had added a pair of $50 boots that I inquired about, but then told her I did not want it. I remember as I was asking her, I turned around to grab something off the shelf behind me and that was when she must’ve added the item onto my receipt. Very sketchy!
Always has my size, my styles and my price. Love to go here with my kids. We shop here for everything from morning to night, from pj to outdoor working or night out. So many variety of shoes and accessories. Greta customer service. The line is always fast for check out, return or exchange. Lots of space with lots of merchandises. Recommend everyone to go here if you’re looking for quality products and reasonable prices.
I am shocked at how awful this store is. From the clothes, to the shoes and makeup, everything is in disarray and of such bad quality. What a difference between Chicago area Nordstrom Racks and Houston's, They seem to be completely different stores. Also there is a manager at this location with long black hair, she is very rude for no reason and should not hold a customer service position.
Wow! I didn’t catch her name. But the manager was so rude and mean to me! I went in to return an item and she was so rude. She was black and was working on this date. The cashier lady was so sweet but the manager gave me an attitude and did not even sympathize with my situation. I will not be shopping here again after 20 years of being a loyal customer. She did not offer me any solution.
My very first time shopping here. I was blown away. So much to choose from. Very nice store. I had been looking for months for black dress pants to wear to my granddaughters wedding, and could not find what I had in mind anywhere. Within 2 minutes in this store, I found 2 perfect pairs of pants and bought them both. Now my only problem is deciding which one I will wear to the wedding.
They have a decent selection of garments. Not all have the highest quality of fabric and stitching so it's important to select carefully. Some of the prices seemed to be close to full retail... Good customer service, however they didn't have change for a cash purchase so had to wait for the manager to get the change... otherwise good overall.
I love shopping at Nordstrom and never have a problem but it seems like the people that work there do not like their job one bit! No eye contact no conversation literally 2 staff were back and work yelling across the register about pick up orders. Seriously let’s keep it professional and it getting worse and worse in the area.
The store itself is great but I HATED my experience here. There is a worker by the name of Lola which i even happen to believe is a manager? Very rude and disrespectful to us that day. Never had a store employee act that way towards me. I won't be visiting this store ever again. She shouldn't be in customer service.
I literally have to make myself stop shopping around bc I want to buy EVERYTHING. Love this place and prices are good but could be better but thats nit their fault inflation sucks! But the selection is amazing. All the employees are always so helpful and welcoming especially the lady with the Russian accent.
Bought a pair of shoes over the weekend and have not worn them yet. Went to return them because I found a pair of shoes in a better style at another store. Went to return these and because there was a scratch on the bottom that had to be there when I purchased them the store would not accept the return.
Store is not any better organized than a Ross. Not clean, piles of junk everywhere. These employees have given up. Found some cute makeup accessories but had to really search for them. I did not care for most of the clothes but saw a couple of people very happy with the one to three items they found.
Is this Rack a work program for the neighborhood halfway house? Employees were unfriendly and hostile. The vibe was too cool for school. Not customer oriented nor helpful. I interacted with 3 employees and you could literally feel their disdain Fortunately other NR stores in the area are better.
I’m not a big shopper, so maybe I don’t have a true appreciation for this store. I didn’t find the prices to be that great. The store was pretty sparse, so there wasn’t a big selection. The lines were pretty long, but moved fairly fast. Probably won’t return.
So this is Nordstrom rack is far better than the one in Sugarland. I don’t know why, but I feel that the staff is much nicer. The selection of merchandise is also wide and above wall. It is much cleaner I enjoy shopping from here never disappointed.
We like Nordstrom’s Rack because it has a wide variety of clothes and shoes. Many items are priced for clearance so you can save money on very nice merchandise. It is a good idea to shop here regularly as they are always getting new y to things.
Great selection and great prices. Unfortunately the poor girl at the cash register is being bombarded with a long line and all customers are complaining. Management is nowhere to be found. I doubt this is the only girl working in the store.
I collect sneakers and Nordstrom rack online and instore have such great deals. I'm always getting them online and to avoid shipping costs I have them shipped to this Nordstrom rack because it's close to my home. I always have a hard time
This is an outlet/closeout place, and it's chaotic, like all such places are. The level of chaos in what's there and how it's arranged probably can't be helped, and I just don't have the kind of patience to really appreciate this sort of

They have the most gorgeous shoes. I needed a pair of shoes last minute. Had a business meeting that was super important with VP. I found exactly what I was looking for there under $250.00 That was the best investment for shoes ever.

I went for a pair of jeans and there was only 1 rack and non in my size. The man at the fitting room was wonderful. He saw i was struggling standing and he went and found a folding chair for me. A true gentleman
Horrible customer service in the ladies fitting room, hard to find any help on the sales floor as well. A lot of talking and playing around at the registers and overall poor customer service.
The store is kept tidy and neat. Selection for men is not so great, but it's nice to have this type of store when essentials are needed. Thanks to Jennifer for a nice experience.
It is one of their best stores (it used to be even better). You probably need to spend some more time to find what you want, since the store is not as organized as it used to be.

They have so many name brand items here. A huge variety of purses and clothes and shoes for everyone. The store was well managed. Employees were helpful and friendly.
