I had a dispute with my employer and I instructed a legal firm to work for me on a case. they worked on my case for 4 months and prepared all the required documents like sample witness statements, bundles and other supporting documents, I felt they are not doing good, and asked them to not work for me. I was searching for another legal firm in my local area to take support, and continue the case, and i found this firm, North Ford Solicitors, and I instructed this firm to support me on a my case. The first phone call I had with Salmaan Islam, was encouraging and promising, lead me to believe this North Ford Solicitors, and I had an excellent case. I have shared all the documents those are prepared by other solicitors firm and all other supporting documents. Then as the days went on and thousands spent (24900 pounds), Salmaan Islam misguided me asking me to file an application to add Discrimination to the case along with unpaid wages complaint, he didn't tell me the consequences of it and time and cost, he charged 8000 pounds for it, And barrister charged 1440 pounds, and on the final judgement day, we had to withdraw this Discrimination application. Another worst part of this firm and Salmaan Islam and Saidee Qureshi is they used Bundle, Witness Statement which are prepared by my first solicitors, they didnt change even a single letter in bundle and witness statement. but they have charged 24900 pound in total. They used to give me couple of days to pay the dues, and states saying , if we dont receive funds in 2 days, we will stop acting on your case, it was like punishment taking North Ford Solicitor Services. End of Jun, we received judgement in favor to us. North For Solicitors didn't contribute anything to win the case, and they made many mistakes in the email communications and the document they prepared, you don't believe they could not find the difference between debtor and lender, they have misplaced lenders information in the bundle that share with us, I had to many corrections. After the judgement, North Ford Solicitors shared their firm's account details with the respondent to get money, respondent transferred money to their firms account but North Ford Solicitors didn't inform me about it. I sent more than 5 emails on the same asking why didnt you inform me. But they didnt bother to reply to my emails. responded after more than a week saying that's the legal procedure. but i dont know what is the procedure. And still they have that money with them, they didnt pay me yet. I have shared all the required details with them to get my money. they sent an email, saying we are looking into it, it will take 7 days. I would not recommend Salmaan Islam and Saidee Qureshi and North Ford Solicitors, and have no ethics and moralities. This firm made my life a lot more stressful, tearful and I had to re live everything for no reason. they looted all my hard earned money, I sold my property to pay to them, and they still have my money with them, tried in all the ways to get my money but no luck, I am in the process to filing a legal complaint to RSA and Legal Ombudsman against this firm and Salmaan Islam and Saidee Qureshi. They could not make a single change in the documents, Your firm contribution in nothing in winning this case, because documents created by other firm, and you still have my winning money with you, I have paid 24900 to your firm, and I won 28000 including tax. and your firm was the reason that i could not make cost application, as you have taken my money from my respondent. My review is a true reflection of North Ford Solicitors, Salmaan Islam and Saidee Qureshi.

I have been a long standing client of North Ford Solicitors. I have found all members of staff very helpful and responsive. The reception staff are great always answering the calls promptly and professionally as well carefully noting your queries and passing you onto the right person promptly. Mr Salmaan Islam is the senior solicitor in charge. He is very professional in everything he does. I have found him to be an extremely nice cheerful and a polite person who always has time to explain anything he is asked of in a very simple and professional manner. I also must mention Mr Niroshan David a trainee solicitor working under the guidance of Mr Islam. David as I call him, is the most capable trainee solicitor you will ever possibly meet. He is right on the ball and for the three years or so I have personally known him I have found him to be extremely professional and exceptionally talented. Calling David a trainee solicitor in my view is not doing justice to his dedication and experience and most of all his commitment to the cases he is allocated. Although currently a trainee solicitor nearing qualifying as a Solicitor his knowledge is second to none and if he wasn’t signing off as “Trainee Solicitor” one would be able to safely assume that David’s knowledge is same as a qualified Solicitor with at least 10 years of experience. This without a doubt, is due to the guidance of his boss Mr Islam. Nevertheless, David is exceptionally professional and talented in his own right. I highly recommend North Ford Solicitors. I can honestly say that they are honest in their work and will go out of their way to help you. I have personally experienced Mr Islam’s and David’s commitment and dedication to their work, as both of them have kept in touch with me when the need arose even out of hours and at weekends when their office was closed. My initial approach I was told all sorts of thing they would get done for my case almost fishing the client I feel. All sounded good. Then from there it went south. I was told around 6 to 8 weeks to do a letter of claim it took 8 months. I was told in October 2022 the letter of claim was ready it never got sent till march 2023. Despite constantly chasing it. The company had been paid £2500 roughly to take on the case. The defendant sent a letter back denying the claims which north Ford solicitors had all the evidence and witness against her. They then wanted a further £1500 to do a response letter which I was not comfortable giving them as they hadn’t done much that I was initially told they would do. There was a person working on my case that left the practice who was dealing with my case and all my case was handed to someone else which I didn’t get told about. The practice gave me £200 as a good will gesture when the case was dropped. All in all I really wished I never used this solicitors

My name is Yamina Bachir and I have instructed Northford solicitor on a complicated case, I so wish I have never done it. The first conversation with Me Salman was so positive in terms of the cost ,service and case management, sort of fishing the client , once you make the payement everything change. No empathy, very poor service and big unexplained charges and costs . My case has not even been to court as I have to pull out . I was legally misguided , badly treated and ended up with a 4 digits bill without even receiving the service agreed on my first conversation with Mr Salman. I has a complicated case and the firm was aware since my very first conversation, Mr Salman and Ms Moumtaz had my case , the only thing I could say about them is : I wouldn’t never recommend them and I would strongly advise any client not to use their services .

I instructed this firm to help with a case a few years ago. My initial phone call with saalman was very positive and he encouraged me to feel I had a really strong case. He was very eager to get his money and once this payment had gone through, then they took me on a long winded journey. My case never even made it to court as I had to pull out. By that point I had spent thousands. In writing the firm were very calculated to not put anything against regulation. They baffle you with legal terms to keep you paying the bills. I only wish I had recorded that first conversation. I would never recommend them.
