I love this library! It’s small but they still have some of everything and the size gives it a local cozy feel. They even have a kids play area at the back with all the kid’s media, they have computers and printers, and of course all the normal sections of books. It’s part of the Hennepin County Library system so you have access to all the materials in any site. I was worried it would take too much time to receive items from other branches, but it’s been anywhere from 2-4 days for them to arrive (if immediately available of course). The staff are always really friendly and helpful - whether I forgot my library card or couldn’t figure out where something was. I also love that there are a ton of community resources. I’ve never seen it empty, no matter what time of/day I’ve gone. Plus the gigantic windows are great people watching! ;)

During these pandemic times, I am very lucky to have a “grab and go” library in my neighborhood. It’s easy to put a hold on items online that I want, and when they are ready for me at Northeast Library, I get an email notification. I have my own hold number, and I go to the hold section where the library staff have already pulled my materials for me, and they are left on the hold shelf numerically. They have the 3M self check out machines, and I can check them out easily. The staffwill show you how to do all if this, if it’s your first time, and you don’t know what you are doing. Always helpful and friendly.

Great Grab & Go system during COVID. The hclib.org website is really easy to place holds on and have the books you want sent to your preferred location. Seems very safe for employees and community members alike. They lose the 5th star only because my work schedule doesn’t mesh well with that hours. However, they’re open til 8pm Wednesdays and on Saturdays from 9-5pm. God bless the public library. An American treasure.

This is the ideal library. The staff are friendly and helpful, they have plenty of books to choose from and a wide variety, its so quiet you can literally hear a pin drop, there aren't a lot of people, AND (my fav part) is that it looks so beautiful!! like honestly i just admire its beauty ^_^ never seen a library like it its my aesthetic! its quite possibly one of or the best libraries out there 5/5!!

Love this library!! All the employees I've talked to here are so kind and helpful. Also very patient as they helped me fax something, check out things I had put on hold online (all things I was very clueless about). This location has printers, scanners, and a fax machine. A very relaxing library. The parking lot is great, it's very easily accessible. Thank you NE Librarians!!

Really nice smaller library with a decent selection. In these COVID times, this library has had the best distancing and safety measures of pretty much any place I've seen also! I still sanitize all the music and movies I get to be safe, though.

They remodeled this Library several years ago, lovely play spaces and story time for kiddos. Quiet study places with some cozy chairs. Mpls Public Library is great as a whole but this one is a gem. Some of the best Librarians.

I Miss Going To The Library & I Am Sad That Its Not Open Due To The Coivd19 & I Am Hoping It Will Open Up Back Very Soon And I Can See My Favorite Library People Over There & Be Happy Again....

Excellent layout, and everybody on the staff is EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The online inter-library request interface and self-pickup area makes everything a breeze. Well done!

Appreciate the grab-and-go service! I also really like the numbering system for hold requests (which are also quarantined for 3 days upon arrival) to help maintain anonymity.

I don't like the homework helper there she is very rude she kicked us out of the homework center and she's very racist but other than that the library is pretty good

Not very library friendly lots of noise, telephone usage and just rudeness from the patrons. I just needed to print some information. Such a noisy environment.

It wasn't as quiet as the library is supposed to be. However, the librarians who work here are extremely helpful. They seem to know everything.

Nice little library. I needed to edit and print a couple of .doc files and was in and out of there in 15 minutes. Very helpful staff.
