As someone who moved to the area from Louisiana and Texas, I missed Tex-Mex food (I know what I got used to there wasn’t authentic Mexican). Finding basic staples like good refried beans, good corn tortillas, and good Mexican rice is difficult. I finally made my way to their market and was blown away by the selection. For me, the show stealer were the tamales. That’s what I was looking for most and was able to pick up pork tamales and chicken mole tamales and they were absolutely delicious. I was also surprised at how big they were! There are four to a pack, which might not sound like much, but they are really big. Not to mention, delicious. Their pre-cooked chicken is an excellent filler when you need to make something quickly. And their canned goods selection is excellent. On my trip, I was able to pick up excellent refried beans, enchilada sauce, adobo sauce, mole, Tortillas, and more. I highly recommend La Nostalgia. The staff was excellent and helpful and very gracious and answering my questions. I can’t wait to go back there

Horrible food and horrible service. Never going back again, me and my boyfriend bought some food and sweets and we tried a sweet coconut flavour that was sold at the front desk. After opening the package, it had a skunky smell and so I still bit into it and it tasted horrible. As I realized there was mold on both the 2 sweets I bought. Disgusting. I brought back to the owner and he told.me it was the honey - honey isn't white grows hair and green. Horrible service. Bad attitude. I'm afraid for food service they qualify. Customers are suppose to be always right, not the seller. Never going back.

This is our go to spot to get all of the ingredients for our Mexican cooking! If we're looking for something hard to find, it can be ordered which is so great. We decided to go to one of their cooking classes which takes place in the evening every 2 months or so. There is a set menu and a chef prepares an authentic Mexican meal and teaches you all the tricks and tips you need to know to make it at home. It was delicious and we had a blast with the other participants! You can also bring a bottle of wine to enjoy during the preparations :)

Originally went to find an authentic ingredient....found it and so much more! Enjoyed doing a class with a group of friends! We had a great time, learned about different foods and enjoyed great company! This store was amazing, I have never had the chance to experience true authentic Latin-American food. The employees were very helpful as they showed me which products I could take home to make a delicious dinner. This included products such as delicious salsas, tortillas and overall a wonderful assortment of products. I will definitely come back here again.

Everyone greeted with smiles which made for a warm welcome. They had everything I needed and the gentleman working was super helpful and showed me everything I would need for the recipe I am making. He gave me some tips and his amazing customer service was appreciated. I will definitely be back here and will reccomend my family and friends.

They have a great selection of Mexican and Latin American food and ingredients, including lots of varieties of dried chilis you can't find in the regular grocery store. The staff helped us find what we were looking for, suggesting substitutions for anything they didn't have on hand. Will definitely be back!

Picked up tomales and empanadas. So tasty! Empanadas are soft and pillowy, fillings are flavourful (we tried all 4) and not greasy! My husband loved the pork tomales, must try the pollo next time also had the alfajores and a bag of Mexican hot chocolate. Also fantastic keep up the good work! …

This is a wonderful shop! I always buy Yerba Mate there. Great prices, products and quality. The owners are extremely friendly and kind, and once even though they were closing, they opened the store for us to buy more yerba mate. The salsa verde and tequenos are also delicious!! I highly recommend!

Good family owned grocery market selling precooked Mexican and South American food. Very friendly owners. Store is very clean and well organized. Very authentic items. I went in looking for a specific chilli paste to make a Peruvian Chicken and came out with food for 2 meals. Worth checking out

Nostalgia just catered a taco party for me and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything was so delicious and it was so easy just to heat it all up and serve. They were so helpful in selecting the menu and how much to order. Definitely would recommend them for any get together!

Super cool little shop where I get Mexican supplies they don't have at typical grocery stores. I come all the time for tortillas (cheap and so much better than the grocery store junk) but I've tried some other food and it's all be good. Also recommended the empanadas.
