Zero help, zero symathy, no support for the kids they have just rejected on their enrollment. Absolutely disgraceful! My daughter was given a place in May and was given a letter of enrollment for today at 11.45. I arrive outside the school seeing lots of other students waiting outside the gate, however I thought that they were waiting to be let into the building. I came out the car and read the sign allocated outside the school which read: "We have filled up on enrollment and there are no more places available." Other parents, including myself had rang the school multiple times and nothing was going through- they were "closed". Ironically there were children coming in and out of the campus, who were not helpful at all- and anyone around the building was not helpful and knew nothing. Everyone was in a panic and extremely worried as this information was literly last min. A woman who was in the building, who saw us standing outside walked away from the window and ignored us !! she later came out and claimed she had no ties with the school and couldnt help us as she was only here for a health meeting? this made absolute no sense as all doors were locked and apparently the school was closed so no one was sure how she was getting in and out and why she couldnt help as she was the only one in the school?! I later found an email from the school cancelling my daughters enrollment at 6am today. This is outrageous and really bizzare. Had i had earlier notice about the school being full then i could've made earlier arrangements to get her into another institution- with 2 weeks until september. Appaling and decieving

DISORGANISED, UNACCEPTABLE EXCUSES! An Independent audit needs to take place. The letters to invite students were received in June 2023, they were looking forward to being enrolled yesterday. The young adults have worked hard, my child excelled in their exams which was fantastic news on August 24th 2023. They were very excited to attend Notre Dame sixth form college in September 2023, to then be made aware “the course is full, I can see you have achieved above your expected grades but would you have a think about taking another course or speak to someone from Leeds city college” You can not be allowed to get away with such shoddy excuses about courses being oversubscribed?! What a waste of young people’s time and efforts, to be told at the last moment by these so called jobsworth “educators” they do not have the capacity nor the ability to provide adequate education unless you are of a practicing faith! Outright discrimination! This sixth form “college” should be under an URGENT INVESTIGATION into how they (college) processes the applications of new students, all findings from the report including the draft report need to be published publicly! AVOID THIS “COLLEGE”!

I received the letter confirming the date and time of my enrolment which turned out to be the last day. Turned up on the day at 11 o clock and one of the staff told me there is no space left, bearing in mind they said they would send a message to students beforehand in case they was full but instead made me waste a journey all the way to Leeds for them to say this. Then asked me if I have a plan B but if you’re telling students this information this late how are they going to have one? I am genuinely disappointed and appalled that it isn’t as well the first time this has happened to someone, there is 0 sympathy and something needs to change. It isn’t fair for anyone to go through this as they should know better.

Most of the negative reviews here are upset about how students are being "rejected on induction day" however if you read their invite it clearly stated that you may not receive a place in Notre due to spaces. The school itself is actually great and has wonderful pastoral support. This extends to free maths tutoring, lunchtime support sessions, excellent bursary easily accessible and plenty of study space. Along with that the food is bangin

categoric failures from this college has resulted in my son losing an entire year and having to restart at an alternative college This college is nothing but a debacle and need to be investigated for the way they handle all their students and screw the futures of some. The most bitter pill this college can swallow is accepting that THEY HAVE FAILED MY CHILD AND MANY MORE IT SEEMS AS PER OTHER REVIEWS FEATURED it's not all rosy here sadly

This collage gets kids to sign up to courses saying they can go onto university only to towards the end of the second year tell them most universities don't accept the qualification. The T-level course has been poorly managed with the college having no idea what they were doing leaving an entire year with dashed ambitions and university plans out the window. Don't go here it's an unorganised mess of a school

Accepted students who worked hard to achieve their grades and then dropped them the day before enrollment leaving them with very few college choices. Kids are being forced to change their courses or go to colleges they do not like. Calls and emails to the college are being ignored and no help is being offered to these dumped students. Appalling behaviour.

Absolutely awful, place confirmed at college and then told at 16:52 the day before enrolment (just a couple weeks away from the term) stating that their place had been cancelled and to call their prior school or contact a local authority for help. Disgusting, a total lack of empathy and responsibility for their actions.

Informed us of not being enrolled one day before the start of school. I have had to take a gap year as I assumed I had been enrolled. No sympathy for any of us who were rejected and have been forced to take alternative routes for education. Terrible place.

  • Senpai Torpid DOW

Absolutely stellar college. Teachers are very knowledgeable about their subjects - something that cannot be said of 90+% of high school teachers. If you aren't sure whether you want to go to this college to study A-levels or if you want to

From the bad smelling toilets to the free cups of tea as a result of good work (only available in theatre as a result of good theatrical work) NDCC isn't all about hailing the one and only our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. It's about you

This is an excellent college which not only gives you an education in the academic sense but an education as a person too. Notre Dame helps it's students mature into accepting, moral individuals and has a strong community ethos. You are

Cancelled my enrolment the day before i was meant to go in for it and took away my place ,without warning or reason, went anyway becsuse i thought it may have been a glitch or mistake, turns out they did the same thing to 20-30 other

  • Willow Mckruth

Great college overall. Great space, help and community. Missed a star because teachers are a hit and miss. Found myself pestering a bit when work would get lost or marking not handed back on time when there was a due date hand in.

  • Ellie Fensome

Great school. The waffles are sacred. Just don't study Drama and Theatre. The two teachers are sarcastic, rude, petty and unprofessional, and have completely sucked out my passion for theatre.

  • Grace Matthews

Pretty decent college actually. Teachers actually care about students and the facilities are good. Only downside is how busy it gets, not enough space during lunch breaks

  • Julie McHale

Wish they would let students learn adulting for the real world, having mummy to authorise absences even though they been told my son has covid i get constant messages,

  • COthney Cothney

Notre Dame is like a Home! It's a sixth Form where have been able to grow, and give my best, while taking part in different things.

  • Zohaib Lateef

Good college. Teachers are alright, people are nice enough. Canteen food is ok. Only problem is that its a bit crowded
