I came here for the Ladies Spa Day; facial, a massage, lunch and a mani-pedi - 3hrs and 45 mins for just under $400. Two of us started at 11am, and our other friend started at 12pm b/c she didn't want a facial. We made sure to book together so that we could enjoy lunch and our mani-pedis together. When I arrived, I was handed a lunch sheet that had a list of salads, sandwiches and smoothies, each under separate headings. I was told to pick my 1st and 2nd choice and not to worry about the prices. Based on my experiences at other spas that offer 3 courses, I was under the impression I pick a salad, sandwich and smoothie. I listed my 1st and 2nd choice for each and handed in my form. After my 1st 2 services, I was told to wait in the lounge and someone would come get me for lunch. I waited for 15 mins and surprised my friends hadn't come out yet so I looked for them. Turns out they had been in the lunch room, waiting for me! Our food came and they were told that they had to eat without me b/c we had our mani-pedis next. They told one of the people who worked there that I had gone for my massage first so I should be done. They gave her my name so she could find out where I was. The worker came back and asked me why I didn't answer her when she came into the lounge and asked "who was with Sarah?" I told her that I thought she was coming in to find her next client named "Sarah" as that was how the other RMTs etc. would come in and say the name of who they're looking for. She was talking in a quiet "spa" voice too so I didn't catch every word. It would have made more sense if she came in and asked for me by name rather than by the name of the RMT I just had b/c I didn't even realize what her name was until I paid my bill. The lunch itself was no better. We only got our salads b/c apparently we were only supposed to pick 1 thing on the page total. No one told us this. We called the manager over and voiced our concerns. Not only did she apologize and offer to get us sandwiches and we could have them during our mani-pedis, but she immediately offered all of us 50% off our treatments. She indicated that she would ensure the lunch instructions are made clear when people arrive, but also that they were going to update the included lunch form so that it was clear on the form. She went above and beyond to rectify what were somewhat minor issues. I was only hoping we would still get the sandwich and smoothie for free, and then she threw in the discount as well. I had my facial with Yoko. She spoke to me about my skin and any problems I had been having and explained the steps of the facial. I enjoyed the facial, and my skin felt great afterwards. Sarah Joy did my massage. I was very happy with the massage as she released a lot of my tension. I met with Yoko again to do my mani-pedi. Again, I was happy with her services and my nails looked great. I wouldn't come here for a spa DAY for a few reasons: -The food isn't made on site, and is in fact just picked up from Whole Foods. There aren't many choices, and it's essentially just an overpriced boxed lunch. Plus the lunch room is just a dim lit glassed in room in the middle of the hallway where the treatment rooms are. -There is nowhere to just lounge and relax. The lounge just has 4 chaises that people sit on while they wait for their treatment. No steam room, hot-tub or pool. There's a small sauna in the women's change room, but it's hardly the relaxing spa lounge area. That being said, I would consider coming back here for individual treatments. I was happy with both Yoko's and Sarah Joy's services and although we did have some issues, the manager was incredibly responsive. She listened to our issues, fixed the problems, offered us discounts and apologized profusely.

Having read reviews about Novo Spa, I felt confident booking a reservation for a couple's therapeutic massage to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. I checked high volume times and scheduled it for a Thursday, just after lunch as it seemed to be the least busy. They sent me an email requesting confirmation, and I confirmed, including in my response that it was a surprise birthday gift; they responded by accommodating my girlfriend by assigning her a very experienced RMT. I was ecstatic with how quickly they responded. We arrived almost an hour early (the website recommended 30 minutes prior to our appointment), but I wanted to make sure we didn't miss out on anything. The receptionist greeted us warmly with a smile, and asked us to fill out a 1-page health check document, and surprised my girlfriend with a lunch option that I did not know was part of the package! Their menu was small, but was composed of a very descriptive selection of salads or sandwiches and a smoothie (at additional cost). We went with the Strawberry salad and they went out of their way to split it between us as well, since the portion was very large. The receptionist gave us a tour of the premises; we were led through a hallway that circles back to the main lobby, with various rooms for each particular service. I was impressed by the mood lighting (very dimly lit and cool), and relaxing music. There were subtle scents, but nothing over-powering. We were led into our separate change rooms, and instructed to change into robes and slippers that were provided with our locker and key. After changing, we were led to the couple's lounge room for fruit infused water, snacks, and relaxation before our appointment. Our RMTs (Gina and Assia; I HIGHLY recommend them) greeted us at the time of our appointment, and led us into the the couple's room. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They asked us if there were any areas of particular focus, and what level of pressure was comfortable. The massage was thorough, relaxing, and the amount of pressure applied was very appropriate. Our RMTs checked in on us and were very accommodating. While I somewhat expected some of their Spa features available for me and my girlfriend at the same time (I thought maybe we could've enjoyed the colour-therapy sauna together, instead of accessing it independently via change room), it was an aside that did not alter how amazing of experience this was. My girlfriend was ecstatic and we were both very pleased with the staff and how accommodating everyone was. I encourage anyone reading this to give this spa a serious consideration, and I welcome future spa services to beat out my expectations. Novo Spa has really set the bar.

I visited this place on Saturday with my cousin for a spa day to relax. They were recommended by a friend that visited them once. Let me tell you that I was very disappointed. When I booked my appointment I clearly told the girl that I want to book for facial, body scrub and shellac manicure. They asked me the type of body scrub and chose one and told them that if my cousin wants to do a different type of scrub that I will call them and let them know otherwise the 3 option that I chose are good to go. They called me on Thursday to confirm the appointment and again I asked them to make sure that we have all 3 service booked ( this was a retreat for my cousin so I wanted to make sure it is all perfect). When we walked in it was all good we get our body scrub and I ask the lady if she is the one that will do the facial too and she said no she will not be the one. She instructed me to the lounge to wait for the next treatment. In the mean time someone else comes in and tells us that we don't have a facial booked and when I explained to them that I booked it and confirmed with 2 different people. They employee , NOT the manager, said that sorry we are fully booked and we recommend that you come back another day to do the facial. Well I leave in Stouffville and it is not easy for me to go downtown another day to do a facial. At this point we were told that they are ready to do our nails. So we go to get our nails done and they needed to remove my shellac too. Well the girl that was doing my nails had a hell of time to remove my shellac , and it seems it was lack of experience, she had to wrap my nails 3 times each time using a pee size dry cotton and pouring a small amount an acetone on the cotton. Well I have been doing shellac for the last 12 years and know that they way she was doing it was not going to work well. It took her 45 min to try to remove my shellac. At this point I'm getting really tired. We asked them if they do designs they said no. Asked if they have glitter they said no. Then she finally got to the point to apply polish on my nails, she did such a bad job the polish is all bumpy and the corner are not even. Bottom line not happy with our nails at all. Then when we go to pay not once anyone acknowledged their mistake and the fact that they messed up our appointment. Not once the manger or anyone in charge came to apologize or anything. I was very disappointed and will not go back there again.

I’d like to start off by saying I usually don’t post negative reviews but given this was my go to place for massages, and how upset my wife is that she got me a foot massage (that I didn't enjoy) as a gift, I feel compelled to leave a review. My most recent visit was on Feb 26th. I booked a 30 min foot massage using a gift card my wife got me for Xmas followed by a 45 min RMT deep tissue massage. The young woman that gave me the “foot massage” used absolutely no pressure. When I politely asked her to apply pressure (as it felt that she was just oiling my feet and nothing more), she said “ok” and then proceeded to massage me in the same manner with no effort and seemed almost annoyed I even made this request. To be honest, she didn’t even seem like she really wanted to be there .. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what but it honestly isn't my problem. NOVO isn't exactly cheap and a customer should receive better service. Also, It was only after the foot massage was finished and was waiting in the mens lounge area for my deep tissue massage that I noticed my 30 min foot massage only lasted 22 mins … she decided to end it 8 mins early … as annoyed as I was, I let it slide as the foot massage was terrible anyways. Now my 45 min deep tissue massage was anything but relaxing. They weren't even busy yet my RMT came and got me from the mens lounge 10 mins late … no apology. The RMT didn't have the massage bed nicely made and ready for me, (its as if the covers were just thrown on), I had to ask for the lights to be dimmed (odd, as you think setting a relaxing ambiance is standard) and she would not stop loudly talking to me the entire time despite my brief (but polite) one word responses. People come to get massages to relax, not to have conversation. You would expect an RMT to use that common sense as it can be awkward for a client to ask an RMT to stop talking to them … When I asked for more pressure she used her elbows in such a manner I have never felt before at any massage. She wasn't consistent in the way she massaged the left side of my back and the right side of my back. I get massages fairly often (given the nature of my job and that I can be reimbursed through my company benefits), and this massage left me in more pain and discomfort then when I came in. Overall, it definitely didn't feel like I was visiting a high end spa and left very disappointed.

My husband and I had a massage therapy done this past Saturday. I am writing to complain about the service provided. First of all, we arrived a little late because we could not find our way easily walking from the parking garage to your place. Having said that, we were given a treatment for a total of 25 to 28 minutes max instead of 45 minutes that we actually paid for. Moreover, the massage lady explained to my husband saying "it is a busy Saturday and we are crushed in time so we have to it quick" !!! who says that? When we pay for 45 minutes massage, we should have our bodies touched (massaged) for 45 minutes non-stop. Second, the massage room was not relaxing and prepared for massage therapy. The room is not dark at all and in fact there was a sharp light going through husband's eyes which was completely annoying. There was no scents that we usually smell in massage rooms like lavender, chamomile or lemon grass.The oils used are so minimal in portion, not heated, not scented. Third, the sweets offered in the waiting area are not fresh. The cookies we ate were hard and not tasty. Fourth, the massage itself was not so good that I want to go back again or recommend it. Overall, the experience was bad that honestly I did not enjoy it, specially that it was our wedding anniversary. Regards

A friend and I did the Ladies Spa day last weekend and it was heavenly! Scheduling was done so that we had the same services at the same time, so we weren't spending all day waiting for the other one to come out of their service. My favourite service was the facial, so relaxing, and probably the best one I've ever had! All our services were top notch and thethe facilities were clean and frequently being maintained and tidied. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, checking in frequently to the lounge to bring tea, water and snacks. We showed up extra early to spend some time in the sauna and to relax ahead of our services, which I definitely recommend. The rainbow lights steam sauna was a great way to start the day Lunch was provided in the Ladies Spa Day package, and was from Whole Foods, and it was so unbelievably good, and a lot more than I had been expecting for a spa lunch. I am amazed at how long my Mani has lasted already, I am very very hard on my nails (usually even shellac will start to chip on me a bit by the end of a week) and 10 days later they have barely a mark on them! Overall it was a fantastic experience, and all the ladies there were excellent. I will definitely be back! Thanks again for such a wonderful spa experience

I had a magical day at the Novo spa today. Let me start by saying that the place is immaculately clean and beautiful. It has lovely earth tone colors in all the treatment rooms and lounges which promotes relaxation. Soft music is playing throughout and I almost fell asleep waiting for my first treatment which is wonderful. I booked the organic facial and manicure pedicure combo for my birthday, and I received a complimentary lunch with my booking. Timea who did my facial is one of the most amazing women I have ever met; she was sweet and gentle and chatted with me throughout my facial to explain all the treatments she was doing because I have never had a facial before. The products that were used were fantastic because I usually have very sensitive skin and I didn’t react at all. They all smelled and felt wonderful. After the facial I had my lunch and it was a super fresh strawberry spinach salad and I also got a berry smoothie which left me energized all afternoon. Yan, did my meni pedi and she made sure I was comfortable, made me tea and helped me pick out kick ass colors for my nails. Everyone was extremely customer service oriented and it felt amazing to be pampered. I will definitely come back for more treatments, this place was 5 stars for me!

This wast first time going to a spa, getting a facial and a massage. I recieved a day package as a gift that included a massage, a facial, a pedicure and manicure. It was a great experience! Everyone was SO friendly and educated. The massage was incredible, the therapist asked if I had any areas I would prefer her to pay more attention to and she informed me when completed what was wrong in those areas and how I could improve. The facial was very relaxing and all the products smelt amazing. She educated me on my skin concerns and what products I should remove or add into my skincare regime. I also got a pedicure and the woman educated me on how to keep my feet soft inbetween appointments. She was so friendly and informed me of all the products she was using. Since I get nail extensions, they allowed me to switch my manicure for a credit, which I used towards a skin product that was recommended to me. Due to Covid I wasn't able to eat the lunch they offered there but I brought it home (I chose the cobb salad) and it was delicious! Overall an amazing first experience and I will definitely be back! I've already told a few friends and we plan on booking together in the future!

Nope. Horrific customer service. Tried to make an appointment, I emailed them. They gave me a time slot that was available, I agreed since it worked for me and provided them with my credit card info. Did not hear anything after. To confirm, the next day I sent them an email inquiring. They got back to me with this: "Good morning, my name, unfortunately, at the time of the booking the spot had been reserved". ........But you told me it was free? And I literally sent an email with my credit card information 1 minute after your email informing me that the slot was free? Are you telling me the slot got booked in that one minute window? I feel like I'm that episode of Seinfeld with the car reservation, where he makes a reservation, goes to get the car, only to be told that they ran out of cars. Jerry: “But the reservation keeps the car here"; Lady at the counter: "I know why we have reservations"; Jerry: “I don’t think you do". Well, folks, I don't think Novo Spa knows either. Edited: they contacted me and offered complimentary service, which was nice and unexpected. Overall, a good experience!

I have been at Novo yesterday because was the number 1 Spa in Toronto and last week i had a massage at Hyatt (next door)and I love it . Hyatt was rated on Trip advisor number 8 It was my boyfriend birthday . At Novo I purchase the Luxury package for couple massage.The girl at the front was nice and give us all the info we needed . The sauna is so small and was dirty they didn't sweep the floor for a long time.They have no disposable toiletries . The massage was SO BAD just rubbing oil on my back. When I ask her to put a little more pressure she start using her elbow on my back putting pressure on my back bones , no muscle, giving me so much pain . When she was doing the neck she use her fist on my collar bone giving me so much pain and again I stop her The last 10 minutes she start massage my neck until she chock me and I stopped her , she bring me some water because I start...coughing It was a waste of time and money . I cant understand why is the number one spa in Toronto. Hyatt and For season hotel are best choice for massage in Yorkville

I used to love Novo as my go-to for a great, relaxing RMT in Toronto. They’ve gone so downhill in customer service recently I won’t be going back. In Feb., they ruined a surprise Valentine’s package by telling me about it while I was there for an entirely unrelated appointment earlier in the month. My partner had booked it with the intent of surprising me. He was very upset and the management did not even apologize. Not even a “sorry” for spoiling our couples day. So he cancelled. I tried once more to go in for a massage. I arrived and laid on the treatment table only to be greeted with the horrible noise of concrete drilling from overhead. They tried moving me to a different room but the drilling was everywhere. For a day spa, they should INFORM clients if invasive construction is going to be an issue. I left. And I won’t be going back. Also, forget about ever speaking to the owner or the manager if you have a concern. Multiple calls and voicemails that never get returned. I’m so disappointed but I’ll be saying goodbye to Novo.

Being a busy small business owner, I often need to relax and unwind. I have been going to Novo Spa for years and have been meaning to write this review for some time now. The clean facility, ambience and people that work their (from the time you arrive and then leave) always make my time there for either massages or body exfoliations an exceptional experience!! Caroline who is my registered massage therapist when I go to Novo Spa is absolutely fantastic and is so meticulous with her care for you!! I always feel rejuvenated after my massages with her and she takes the time to go through exercises to help with muscle soreness, grab you a glass of water and even arranges your slippers for you so you don't have to walk across the cold floor to get to them after your relaxing massage!! I absolutely recommend Novo Spa to anyone that needs to "get away from the everyday" for some local R & R :)

An exceptional experience from booking to service delivery, and at a very reasonable price. I was arranging a spa day for a friend's birthday and found it unbelievably difficult to book services for a group at other spas. I came across Novo Spa, saw the great reviews, and gave them a call. The person who answered the phone was professional and helpful and immediately helped me book services and arrange the day day for our group (two women/ two men). When we arrived, we had pedicures/manicures and massages. All four members of my party were delighted with the premises and with their services and would return. I had my manicure/pedicure work done by the amazing and engaging Diana and my massage therapist was the very impressive , knowledgeable and talented Gina. I recommend Novo Spa, and especially Diana and Gina, to anyone and everyone.

My boyfriend and I came in this morning for the couples paradise massage. We both had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We instantly felt relaxed in the couples lounge before moving onto our massage. Our massage therapists were fantastic and friendly. There was some construction happening upstairs and my therapist was kind enough to leave briefly to ask if they could keep quiet (I didn't have to ask her to do this, which was great, because I didn't want to impose). The rest of the experience was lovely, as they don't rush you to leave afterwards. You're invited to stay and have some lunch or tea in the couples lounge, which really rounded off the whole morning. We both left feeling relaxed and happy. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend Novo spa to friends and family.

Novo spa was absolute bliss. I went with a friend this past weekend and it was super relaxing. The front staff greeted us upon arrival and offered to hang up our coats. We booked an Eminence Organic Facial, Spa Manicure and Pedicure. During all treatments, my aesthetician kept me informed of the products and benefits for my skin. She also recommended products I should be using which I appreciated because I’m not knowledgeable in skin care routines. I cannot remember my aesthetician’s name but she just graduated from school and is from Iran. Please pass along the praise to her!! Spa was extremely clean. The moment our manicure was over, staff were cleaning and sanitizing the chairs, tub and surrounding area. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Novo Spa for a much needed relaxing day.

Last week was my first time here and I had an absolutely AMAZING time. I had a massage and it was the best massage I've ever had. I get massages about 12-15 times a year, so I was very impressed with the quality and the price of the massage. My masseuse's name was Love (as the staff says she goes by). I came in feeling incredibly stressed and tense after a long week and I left feeling stress-free and invigorated. In regards to the facility, it's very simple, but clean. The women's lounge is nothing special. However, for the price of the massage, I will be coming back again for sure. The only thing I'd say is that maybe the spa should put a sign on the sidewalk or something, as I couldn't find it at first since it was below street-level. Overall, 5 star experience. Thank you Novo Spa!

I didn’t get the tea or nuts that some people are reviewing, they only had water, and I also chilled out in their quiet couples space for 25 min before the facial. I had Shannon, she was friendly, and super attentive to my skin health and clearing the debris from my pores. It wasn’t the typical protocol for an Eminence but it was still really good. I loved the double guasha, it was therapeutic and the place is clean and I wasn’t recommended any products to go home with, so I didn’t feel the pressure to purchase. I’d rather 4.5 stars than just the 4 so I gave a 5- because the service was kind, entire staff was friendly and even offered me an Advil for my massive headache. I’d return for sure.

My wife and I booked the luxury for two package. Worth every penny. The spa, isn’t the most luxurious place I have been to however it is intimate, incredibly well staffed and the heart of it, the massages were professional and near perfect. So it does in the end feel exclusive. We were incredibly relaxed after the massage and enjoyed our champagne and truffles. I would recommend this spa to any of my friends and family. Each staff member made you feel like a million dollars. I recommend to come an hour early, enjoy the sauna, high end shower and relaxing rooms with complimentary herbal teas and snacks. A perfect Saturday afternoon to recharge for the week. Thanks! We will come again.

My girlfriend asked me to join her to have few treatments at Novo Spa. We had together a therapeutic massage. She also had a facial and a pedicure. She was pleased with all the treatments. We visit spas frequently and our visit to Novo was a great experience. The staff is very nice and took care of all the details. The facilities are very beautiful, good ambience. The pedicure chairs are outstanding, with a back massage incorporated. Unfortunately we did not have our massages at the couple suite, we watched it and it is really luxury. I am interested in coming again and having the Taste of Heaven or Luxury for Two Package, which according to the staff are Novo's best seller.

One of my favorite spas hands down. The experience is always above par. The workers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They go above an depend to make sure you are comfortable and your experience is enjoyable. The spa itself is beautiful and extremely clean. There are 2 lounges (unisex and women's only) where you can relax before or after your treatment. They provide you with fresh fruit, cookies and hot organic tea. My massage therapist was excellent. She definitely knew her stuff and worked out all my knots and tension. I've been going to NovoSpa for over 10 years and even though I've moved to Kitchener, I still make the trek down just to visit.

My husband booked me a surprise 60 minute hot stone massage for my birthday. This was my first time here and my therapist was Tanya who was super lovely and made me feel super relaxed. We were late to the apppintment(our fault) however Tanya still gave me the full 60 minutes which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this spa, you also get complimentary tea and cookies and can make use of the lounge area and sauna before and/or after treatments. The whole experience and ambience is very relaxing. All staff were fantastic and welcoming and customer service was great. Hoping to come back again after the new year for a couples massage! =)

This is go my go-to day spa. It's clean, the staff are friendly and courteous and the prices are very reasonable! I've only been here for RMT massages, so i can't comment on anything else. The beds are sturdy (which is nice because i hate when i go to places and the bed can move or squeak because it's on wheels), music is calming (it seems to change every time i go) and the RMTs are always on time. Also, the beds are heated and the room temperature is comfortable (which is nice, because i can get cold with just a sheet over me). I go for 60-min massages every two months (with Monika) and i would definitely recommend this place for massages!

I scheduled an afternoon appointment a week prior. The morning of I was feeling sick and called to reschedule, since the several emails you receive stated clearly that the spa is happy to reschedule. I was told I needed to pay 50% since it was within 24 hours. I asked if I should instead come in sick? They said no, it's the policy. I said I would like to cancel instead of rescheduling, I know I would still be charged but that's okay, and the service rep hung up on me. I then logged into the website and I can't cancel there. Still not sure if I will get charged half or the whole price of service for not wanting to make others sick.

I have been a customer for years. I am happy with the massages great therapists. However their prices have gone up significantly compared to competitors. The cost now is $232 with tax for 90 min RMT or non RMT>. I can get for $165 exact same. The reason for the 2 stars off is there is black mold in the mens shower. It needs to be gutted. With these new high prices they need to renovate they should have had this renovated and gutted a few years back. For a yorkville upscale spa this is unacceptable guys. I did point this out to reception I hope they heed my advice and do this not just leave it for the next guy not fair.

No designated parking so find a street gap where you can. It was under construction Aug 2021 so noise was unpleasant. The massage was good but the facial ruin it by trying to sell me products before even looking at my skin. Felt like a gimmicky sales pitch. I went there and paid alot to feel pampered not to have that or someone following me when i get dressed to try an sell me products at the end. I get it, pushy=sales sometimes but ive been here many time so too much greed will make me want to go elsewhere. This wasn't my best visit but perhaps will go again when all the amenities are back in service.

The massage service did not meet my standard expectations (considering it was on the higher end of what I usually pay) and it felt more like a body oil rub instead of a massage. It felt short - closer to 30 mins than the 45 mins that I payed for. When I ask the rmt Sara for a one hour massage, she said okay and did not give me a heads up that she will only have 30 mins at hand or ask if I am ok with the time she can dedicate, hence it felt even more disappointing when she rushed everything under 30 mins. Other than that, the place was very clean, well maintained and had a nice ambience.

Received massage and facial on a Monday afternoon. Had a salad in between treatments and used the sauna. Excellent quality services for the price. All staff was fantastic. Attentive, but also gave you privacy in the lounge and bistro area. I felt at home and relaxed. The only downside is if it is very noisy outside, a firetruck for example, it is mildly audible, but the spa is close to the street in a very busy spot of the city, so out of their control really. I will definitely return for the sauna and more facials. The prices at this spa permit more frequent visits!!

Massages are great! 5 out of 5. Facials are so so. Last one I got there was no extraction and all I got was a few creams rubbed into my face. I walked out with some shiny moisturizer all over my face. I had to wash my face before going outside. 3 out of 5. Spa pedicure - don't even think about it. Horrible. Nails cut unevenly, polish application super messy. The removal of shellac was super long and uneven. You can get 2 pedicures of better qualify for same price at an asian salon. 0 out of 5. I would give a negative if I could.

I was a first time client and am always skeptical at trying a new spa. I was so pleasantly surprised. The women's change room was spotless, the lounge waiting room was lovely... and then the services. I chose the shoulder, neck, head massage and an organic facial - specified after a consultation. I was seen by Monica, who was professional and friendly . The entire experience was fantastic, and she left a product sample gift for me at check out. Great tough, I highly recommend this spa and will definitely return.

Novo Spa is amazing! Not only are the services great (I have had a few of the facials and the massage), but the atmosphere is very relaxing. It's the perfect place to go if you're feeling stressed or overwhelmed. You can have a sauna (free of charge), then relax with some amazing tea (that you can also buy if you love it, as I do), cookies, and a magazine (or chat with a girlfriend, depending on whether you go alone or not), then have your facial/massage/other service. You will leave feeling invigorated!

My husband and I went to Novo Spa on Oct 19th, I got the taste of heaven package for my husband birthday...60 min rmt massage, 15 minute foot scrub and 20 minute color therapy shower....the total cost was $320.92(including taxes). Our appointment was 6:15 but our massage therapist Tanya and Michelle were late...and did not come get us until 6:25...after they explained how to use the shower, and after we changed...it was 6:30. Our massage and foot scrub ended early at 7:30...The massage was not great!

I received a birthday gift card to Novo Spa, so I called ahead to book two services: spa facial and spa manicure. I was given the wrong facial because neither the front desk nor the aesthetician confirmed the type of facial I previously booked. Moreover, unlike the other customers, I was not actively offered refreshments, and instead had to ask. Because I received the wrong facial, the overall checkout experience was quite rough. As a first-timer, these incidents left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Went for a couples aromatherapy massage with the holistic therapists. Everyone was very friendly from start to finish. We parked in the ramp across the street and arrived about a half hour early. After we filled out our forms we were shown our lockers and told to change and meet in the couples lounge. It was very peaceful and relaxing just to sit there. We were taken back to our room not long after that. The whole experience was the relaxing start we needed to our mini -adult only - vacation.

Excellent spa experience. The staff are very friendly. The space is very clean. You get your own locker, a robe and slippers. The color therapy sauna is so relaxing. They have a shower with shampoo and soap. The massage therapists are extremely well trained and courteous. The music played is very fitting to a relaxing experience. There is a lounge to hang out/relax in and there is a little area where you can sit and have coffee, tea or cookies (for free!). The spa is accessible by TTC.

Went for a couple's massage. The masseuse were great, very professional! Upon arrival, they take you to a locker room, assign a very safe locker which you can customize the password for. They give robes and slippers to wear and then the therapy begins! Our 60 mins massages were over quickly (probably cz we fell asleep ) After the massage they took us to the lounge to rest & brought us our choice of tea (separate tiny kettles with cups) All in all very relaxing! I live in NYC but go to Toronto often because of work and I always try to go to Novo. The spa is very well located (Yorkville), is very relaxing and comfortable, and the staff is very welcoming and attentive. My boyfriend came with me during my last visit and we decided to try the Taste of Heaven package. The massages were done by Michelle and Sandra, I highly recommend them! I also thought the couples suite was very nice and the shower was great. I can't wait to go back!

I had Katalina and she gave me a Guinot facial. It was probably one of the best facials I've ever had in Toronto. Amazing facial experience, I will be returning. Book Katalina if it's your first time for a facial. Also, the girls at the front desk were also amazing. I was late for my appointment (30 minutes) and they didn't make me feel bad. Then again, they probably accommodated me easily because I was the first facial appointment in the morning. Highly recommended!

I have visited this spa on more than one occasion pre-covid. What was nice about it were the amenities available before and after the service which I was looking forward to. Unfortunately, they were not available when I visited a few days ago. My friend and I were taken to the treatment room right at the time out appointment was scheduled and asked to change there. There was nothing relaxing about the experience at all which is the whole point of going to the spa!

Small and cozy. The changeroms are tight. There are 2 toilet stalls, and 1 shower. They provide useful amenities (like hair dryer, deodorant) to freshen up. There's a lounge with 4 or 5 reclining chairs, magazines, tea and water to wait for your treatments. There's a smaller lounge with chairs and a table to have tea, biscotti and apples, too. The one drawback is since the spa is in the basement, I can hear the subway rolling by during my massage.

Went in for a 60 minute massage, 75 minute facial and a manicure/pedicure - it was a birthday gift. Massage and facial were spectacular! Would definitely return for these services however my shellac manicure is already peeling off (it's only been 4 days) and my pedicure chipped within a day (normally lasts me a couple weeks at the very least!) The spa is beautiful otherwise, very well kept and clean. All of the staff are very sweet.

Me and my spouse went in for a 60 minute massage, 75 minute facial and a manicure/pedicure. We really enjoyed massages and facials. And I think I would come back for these services. However my manicure chipped next day. And in general manicure and pedicure next day looked like it's been 3-4 days old since I've done it. The staff is awesome. The spa is spotless and quiet, but air conditioning was too strong - our feet were cold.

The service was just alright. We did the couples massage and my partner was not satisfied with the massage they got from the gentleman. My massage was just okay. Wasn't worth the extra cost they charge for a 1 hour RMT massage. There are other spas in the area that are significantly cheaper. The steam shower was pretty cool and relaxing. The facility is nice and smells good. Wouldn't go back based on value for price.

I had the best facial here with Shannon. Not only she did an excellent analysis of your skin, but she also took care of you as a family member. If I don't have any budget restraint, I will definitely go to see Shannon every month. So happy i found Novo spa and Eminence line of product. Just one tip for the management: could you perhaps consider giving discount for " regular" customers? - that would be added bonus

I'm basing this rating on a couple's massage. We had a one hour massage with foot scrub and shower. It was a nice experience given the lower price point compared to other places in the city. You don't get to soak in a hot tub or pool like other places but it's nearly half the price. So if you're looking for a couple's spa and massage experience that won't take all day in the city, it's a good option.

I recently had an excellent facial at Novo Spa. It was the first time since the pandemic and I was a little hesitant. All health and safety protocols were followed. From the moment I entered the spa, the front desk staff warmly greeted me. The esthetician was highly knowledgeable and recommended an amazing treat. It was so relaxing ! Can’t wait to return for my next treatment.

Recieved a couples massage and it was amazing ! I came in sore and aching from work the previous day and after my massage not a single part of me was aching. As a bonus they also have complementary tea and nuts, both were excellent. The service here is amazing and very welcoming with no rush for us to leave. Overall a very well run spa, will be back again for sure !

Spa was great, ambiance was very relaxing. I went on a Friday afternoon so it was not very busy but there is only one shower in the women's changeroom and I had to wait for someone to finish, so I can't imagine how this would work on a busier day. only other thing is that we were not offered any tea. Overall a great experience and will likely be coming back.

I Love this Spa! It is clean, calm, well-served, and I have been lucky enough to always get an appointment the day of. The massage therapists have each been really excellent, same with the estheticians, and included is a lovely full-spectrum light sauna, and high quality tea. I am grateful they are there, conveniently located. Highly recommended!

Treated my boyfriend to his first ever massage with the "Taste of heaven" package. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I do wish the couples shower time was 30 mins instead of 20 & there is no conditioner in the shower as an FYI to all the ladies who require it everytime we wash our hair. Still a really good experience and my boyfriend really liked it.

Novo spa had the audacity to call me and tell me my wife left a mess in their changerooms after 3 days. They are upset we left them a bad review on their account and they think it's ok to accuse customers on such behaviour. My partner and I visited the Novo Spa for a couples therapeutic massage. The staff are incredibly friendly and provide you with all the details you need to know for your visit to be smooth and relaxing. The ambiance is great. The tea is particularly good. Don’t forget to stop in the sauna during your visit too.

I was at Novo Spa last week. I had a facial and a massage. Both services done by Love (facial) and Assia (massage) were great. The spa is cozy and clean and everybody warm and friendly. I will follow recommendations from both therapists. If you like organic stuff this is the place to go. I will come back soon!

My daughter, friend and I went to this spa for facials, manicures, a massage and a pedicure. The treatments were fabulous, the staff very professional and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely go back without hesitation. I've already had a couple of compliments on the manicure!!

The amenities were very clean. The staff were pleasant. I got a couple's package for myself and my partner and all of our expectations were exceeded, especially the sauna. Oh that sauna is magic! I recommend turning the lights off and just laying on the top shelf and watching the colors change.

Hands Down great service and so peaceful! Got my mother a Mother's Day gift here and she can't stop bothering me every year for this gift or around Christmas time. It's like this is the only gift she knows now! So good I tried one myself and see why she loves this place so much.

What I love best about this spa is the super friendly service and serene atmosphere. The massage was really good the room amenities, including the rainforest cascade, steam, body jets and colour light therapy shower was excellent. The complimentary tea was a nice bonus as well.

My husband enjoyed his therapeutic massage so much, he extended the time from 70 to 90 minutes. He also had a pedicure and says his feet are smooth and soft. He praised all the wonderful people at the spa. He will definitely want to go again, perhaps for Father's Day.
