I came as a new patient in April 2023 in need of a crown being put back in, to discuss a tooth shifting, and for a cleaning. I’m new to Houston and this office was close to my home. The office is brand new, modern, and has a nice aesthetic. The staff were very efficient, friendly, and professional. The work I received was good and the dentist and dental team were great. I did get my permanent retainer removed from my bottom teeth and I feel like the cement was not fully removed from behind my teeth. I was able to come back a week later to see the orthodontist, which was sooner than expected. The orthodontist was amazing and very helpful with trying to help me find cost effective treatment. She was able to manually shift my tooth with some pressure and work, saving me from redoing Invisalign. I did have to purchase a new bottom retainer for $550, which was pricey. The reason I am not sure if I would return and I rate this office a 3/5 stars is because I felt nickeled and dimed for services. As there was no set amount to cement my crown back in my mouth, I feel like a price was made up. Also, the gentleman in finance was too worried with trying to upsell teeth whiting and about leaving reviews, that I didn’t feel valued as a patient. I spent $750 in two weeks with good insurance and I am wondering if I should’ve just drove to my old dentist in Austin. The services were great, but I don’t think this is the dentist office for my family.

The BEST dentist experience I have had in Houston in 10 years! The office manager Nani, and Angelica are the BEST. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, professional, and awesome. Dr.'s Ali and Samir's assistants; Marissa, Juana, and Lisa are kind, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful. They helped me feel comfortable and calm, like I am with old friends. Dr. Ali has been my primary doctor, and Dr. Samir has helped me several times. Both doctors are total pros. I came to Dr. Ali with a mouthful of bad teeth and a LOT of anxiety; to say I was embarrassed and self-conscious is an understatement. Both Dr. Ali. And Dr. Samir made feel at once comfortable and at ease - never a hint of judgment or condescension. Both doctors were/are positive, supportive, and encouraging. They could not be nicer, more kind and empathetic, or more knowledgeable. I have had a crown, an extraction, and a bridge. All visits have been as painless as possible, and often pain-free. Their work is excellent, their "bedside manner" is as well. I cannot praise and recommend them enough. Dr.s Ali and Samir are the best dentists I have ever been to, and they will help you feel calm and comfortable, and confident in your treatment. I have had several disappointing experiences with other dentists in the past, and I recommend Nu Dentistry to everyone I can. You want to be a patient here!!

Nu Dentistry is amazing. I'm just like you. I've had dental issues all of my life. They are stress inducing and sometimes embarrassing. Ever since I was a kid it has been fillings, and root canals and crowns, etc.. I get that dental health is important but I get so anxious about going to the dentist. Nu Dentistry has changed that entirely. I found these guys after my prior dentist retired and I'd gone a couple of years without care. Nu Dentistry is amazing - Everyone smiles - Everyone is warm and friendly. There is no judgment. Within 45 minutes of my first visit I'd had a complete exam with a plan to get everything fixed. By the end of the second visit I'd had two dentists who were both amazing (Drs Ali and Samir), as well as the staff (Juana and Lisa), and half of my dental work completed. If dental care had been like this for the past 25 years I would have never missed an appointment. If you're anxious about going to the dentist, Nu Dentistry is the answer. These guys make it so easy to feel better about your smile and yourself. If you're on the fence, call these guys. They are nothing short of amazing.

Horrible, horrible experience like something out of a horror film. Staff has no soul. They would not let me pay at the front they said because they had to tell me something in a room. So the office manager brought me in the room started yelling at me and was going back and forth with me about the prices. I didnt want to yell so I left. Little did I know the office manager kept my driver's license and they didn't text me till 30 min later. I had to drive back and get my driver's license. Then before my appointment today they cancelled my appointment without my permission and then I had to call back to get it fixed only to have Leslie and her friend laughing and playing on the phone thinking my situation was funny. They hung the phone up in my face then I would call back and and they would pick up and deliberately not say anything. After getting treated horribly by staff I refused services.

I am truly grateful for this office and all of the wonderful staff! The way everyone worked together in making my experience with Nu Dentistry comfortable, confident, and luxurious! Dr. Samir was oh so kind, gentle and exceptionally caring. Dr. Samir talked me though the whole procedure and encouraged my confidence in finally going through with my dental care. I also have to give credit to his right hand, Juana, she was amazing and gave quality dental advise which really showed she cared! Nani was the best treatment coordinator ever, and I really appreciate her time in explaining all my different treatment options! Everyone here was amazing to me and i am so very thankful for you all!!! i will be back to schedule my pending treatments a.s.a.p!!!!!!!!!

I would like to leave an honest review for this dental office! Omg how impressed I was by the office manager Nani and how well she treated me from the beginning to the end. After moving cross country and putting the dentist off for a year, this place was amazing. I had been with the same dentist my whole life, and coming here was a breeze!!! The gentleman in the front who helps with financing is AMAZING! So helpful and informative. Every single employee was reassuring and positive. Within 2 hours they had created a care plan, helped with financing, a full cleaning, AND treated everything I was comfortable with right then!!!! I’ve never had a quicker and painless experience. They’ve definitely won my loyalty!

I had a great first experience at Nu Dentristy. Marissa went above and beyond to answer all my questions and ensure my needs were met. She was so sweet! Dr. Ali was also fabulous. My teeth cleaning was painless and he was realistic about my teeth whitening goals. He explained everything that he was doing as he was working on my teeth which was appreciated. I came to Nu Dentistry because I needed a veneer replacement… The staff was very nice the Doc Samir is very good with his job I had to get sh deep cleaning I must admit I’m a smoker so my teeth were in need of cleaning. Doctor Samir did a amazing job he recommended I get a crown instead of replacing the veneer, overall Ninia and the rest of the Nu Dentistry team are really nice… So if you’re looking for a great dentist which is hard to find go see Doctor Samir you will not regret it…

Wasn’t pleased with my current dentist so decided to give Nu Dentist, near my home (on Shepherd) a try. Couldn’t be happier. A clean, friendly and very professional business. They got me up to date on my teeth care and fixed some nagging issues. All procedures were fully explained and i never felt pressured to act. I’m Trying to see about getting bridges and I’ve been calling for a week trying to see if they take my insurance no one calls back or they give me the run around about someone will call you In a hour & never call . They really have been become so Unprofessional! All they ask About is can you leave us a good review ! Love it here. I was really scared to go to a dentist again. I remember having a bad experience where the dentist made me feel bad about my teeth, but this is not that kind of place. From the minute I walked in, to the minute I walked out they were always smiling and so friendly. They made me feel super comfortable, and made sure I was okay at all times. Omg! I didn't think I would be reviewing a dentist office but with top notch service and A1 staff I just had to! I am so glad I found them, Dr. Ehab was awesome he put my mind at ease and was so patient and thorough being sure that I understood the treatment plan. Everyone is so nice here. They communicate thoroughly so you never feel out of the loop. I was an emergency visit to get a tooth pulled. I was in and out in just an hour and a half and didn't feel a thing! When I went to pay, the 2 people at the front desk were absolutely lovely and got me out quickly.

Dr. Samir is very personable and explained not only the treatment plan but why it was needed. Ended up having to come back and fix the temporary crown as it seemed to be filed down too low when it was installed. But, they got me in the next day and fixed the problem immediately. Great service.
