A little strange at this location. I walked in and said "Hi, I'm Tim for a phone order". The person closest looked at me and went back to cleaning for a minute. They then came over and said like "What" or something similar. "I phoned in an order". "You here to pickup" and it seemed to keep that way. Not sure what but I got my pizza and it was fantastic. Not really rude or anything but strange. I'll keep going there, strangeness is no reason to not get the greatest pizza around.

My first time visiting this location. About the same distance from home for me.

I live in the Sacramento area and grew up with Numero Uno pizza as my favorite pizza!! I would always go on my birthday to eat there when I was young back in the day!! I have not have Numero Uno pizza in years since I moved away.. I went back to southern Californian to visit yesterday and I went to the Tarzana Numero Uno location to pick up a pizza. No have to say that Hands down STILL the best pizza ever!! I truly wish they had a location in my area!! Thank you for still keeping the consistentcy the same as it was so many years ago that I was smiling and doing my happy dance (haha) with every bite! I also want to give a shout out to Kyle who works there for being so friendly, kind and helpful!! Continuing doing an awesome job!! You guys and your restaurant are sooooo appreciated!!!!!!!!♥️♥️

The pizza at this place is fabulous. I had the Deep Dish personalized pizza with cheese. The dough was light and fluffy like a Ciabatta Bread, the cheese was not overdone, and tomato sauce had the right amount of seasonings with a hint of oregano and parsley in the taste. The employees at the Tarzana location are friendly and personable, making my experience a pleasure. The menu includes Thin or Thick Crust Pizzas, appetizers such as Wings, Bread Sticks and Soup; Meatball and Chicken Parmigiana Sandwhiches, Pasta Dishes, and much more.... Definitely come to Numero Uno and you will fall in love with their food. Note: The Tazana location is open for business in Dec/2020. Please stop by for takeout and delivery. You can also use Postmates, Grub Hub, and Door Dash to deliver the food to your door.

Ordered a custom pizza on Sat 7/10, after biting into a slice (which was delicious) I noticed it was missing a topping or two. I immediately called to inform them of the oversight and no longer than it took to call and hang up they sent another with the additional toppings AND a slice of cake for the inconvenience. New management, Delicious Pizza and over the top customer service.... I highly recommend this place to any and all who loves hot delivered pizza and awesome service. Oh.. and they have their OWN delivery guy who was just as awesome. BTW - GrubHub had them listed as closed when they weren't, but they do quick & fast in house delivery.

Really was craving pizza, I'm not from here so it took me all day to compare location, prices, and reviews... It got late so I finally decided on this one! I wish I hadn't, idk if it was because they were closing or not but it wasn't good to me! The dough was a little soft in the middle, and it just wasn't what I had in mind. It wasn't good, I ordered mushroom, Canadian bacon, pepperoni on a mini pizza.... It was not satisfying at all! The only good thing is if you sign up for their text list you get 2$ off.... UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Didn't know it was Under New Management. I walked in and immediately was welcomed. Its definitely the Numeral Uno pizza I remember when I was younger. Yes the pizza taste better. The XL pizza is an XL pizza,. The family deals are worth it and yes the spaghetti also taste better, UNDER THIS NEW MANAGEMENT. Will definitely be back more often.. Only wish it was a full dine in pizzeria like the good ole days..

I want to start with I did NOT eat our pizza. My boyfriend did and said it was amazing! My only reason for 5* Is him bragging how good it was. I'm very alergic to allium plants (onion mainly sensitive to other alliums.) he bit into the pizza first.thank God. It was smother in onion that we both stated no onions.... BUT AS FAR AS PIZZA GOES he was over the moon with it! It smelled wonderful and people here are very friendly.

This place is a solid 7.8 if you’re a fan of the style. Thick and crunchy deep dish but kinda light feeling crust, can eat more than one slice at a time. Sauce has some depth of flavor. Cheese isn’t overdone. Def give a try if you’re in the area.

Very delicious pizza. I recommend the Slaughterhouse Five. The bread is thick, soft, and flavorful which makes the pizza taste even better. The price is really fair for the quality and quantity. A medium size pizza is definitely enough for 2 people.

Love Numero Uno, been eating there for years, since 1976. I did not know about the location in Tarzana, but will be heading there soon. I have not had their pizza in a few years because locations near me closed down. But I already know this will be a favorite spot based upon how delicious it always has been in the past.

The interior is absolutely rustic looking, with a classic pizzeria feel. The dine in area is small, yet inviting, and the food itself is worth every cent. Definitely a favorite!

Yes! So glad to see this place open again. Their pizza is always perfectly cooked, ingredients are fresh, and staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and it is located in a small, uncrowded shopping center with easy pick up access. My kids love their thick crust pizza.

The staff is really sweet, and kind. However the pizza isn’t good at all. It’s super thick and the cheese doesn’t get crisp, almost like fake cheese. It’s like cafeteria pizza. The pizza really isn’t good.

My fiancé and I were beyond excited to see that Numero Uno opened up a location by our house. The fluffy crust simply cannot be matched by other pizzerias. We’ll be seeing you guys at least once a week!

My least favorite style of pizza. Greasy crust with cheese melted over the toppings and un-noticeable sauce, and pricey. 3 stars becuse the service was friendly. Food gets a 1 star at best.
