I needed to over-night urgent legal documents so I firstly confirmed that this branch offered the over-night service on the Royal Mail website. It said it did and that cut-off time was 4pm. I get to the post office at 3:30pm, the guy at the counter says they don't officer over-night service. I told him that I'd checked on the RM website and it said that they do. He replied that I'd missed the cut-off time. I told him that the cut-off time as per the RM website is 4pm. He told me that the delivery guy had already been and gone. So by his logic I'd missed the cut-off time for a service that they don't offer because I was early. I don't mind when websites get details wrong, it happens and it's not unusual when public assets are sold off and franchised out. But I do mind being lied to and patronised.
I came to your post office on Saturday 18th November at 12:15 pm to return my two Amazon parcels. The lady in her twenties took my parcels and pictures of QR codes saying the Amazon terminal was not working but she said she would scan the codes and post the parcels back as soon as the terminal was back online. Until today (22nd November) the parcels were not scanned. I tried to call you several times but no one answered. Can you please check it for me? Otherwise, I will come back to your branch on Friday.
The older West Asian man is extremely rude. I have witnessed him being rude to many customers and is generally very moody. Having a sign asking customers to respect staff does not give you the right to be rude to customers constantly without repercussions. The sooner he is replaced the better or this branch should just be closed permanently and funding put into other branches in the area. Since he does not know how to respect the public, we should not have to fund his branch with our taxes.
I made £200 deposit while chatting to the guy, youngish with turban & glasses. He did not want to talk to me, so much for friendly post office ! I the asked for some pound coins & some fivers, the real reason I went in for, "waiting for change he said" none at all. He looks straight through you as if to say done with you. I think they have their regulars who they may bother with. I wont be going back thats for sure, I only went due to my local still closing early.
Local Post Office that has changed hands recently. Last visit was in August, when a worker tried to con me, then short changed me with counterfeit £1 coins! Today October 2, 2023 workers are erecting a new sign at front of shop announcing it's now "R2 NUXLEY OFF LICENCE & POST OFFICE" suggesting it may have changed owners again. Interior has been refitted and upgraded with lots of beer fridges.
The branch is near my home and not busy .The fact that no or small ques are the reason I go there. The customer service on the other hand could be better .Alot of the time while serving the staff start using the phone . The customer service is not all that good. Some of the staff do show that they don't want to be there and approach you as is doing you a royal favour.
This used to be a lovely post office years ago. The staff were lovely. But now customer service is ZERO. It takes nothing to smile and to be polite. Postal charges seem to often be higher. I have sent parcels abroad and they don't fill out the required documentation I will try to avoid and use a post office further out.
I go in here pretty often and every member of staff is rude and don’t give you the time of day. The manager is okay but the guy with the turban and glasses looks straight through you and dosent listen to what you’re saying. The only good thing about this office is the fact they have 2 pick ups a day.
Really disappointed that guy behind counter tried to over charge me on parcel because he could not be bothered to measure or thought he knew best. Tried to charge me over £5 for a £3.20 parcel. Good job I use these boxes on a regular basis but wonder how many people he has overcharged?
Went to my local post office today It’s supposed to be under new management What a load of rubbish The staff are so slow I nearly fell asleep There customer service is nonexistent Will never go there again Bring back the original staff At least they knew what they were doing
I try to avoid this post office. The staff are very rude. I needed some urgent photocopying and the young guy there was just so unhelpful. The price per page of photocopying is also extortionate. I go out of my way down to Lower Road Post Office rather than this one.
They don't know their own structure, the delivery driver doesn't ring the door bell, just leaves a note and going to collect it they don't have it available. Use anything else and avoid at all costs. This place sucks.
IT HAS CLOSED DOWN PERMANENTLY!!!!! Google is always SLOW to amend anything. Don't bother making your way here, it doesn't even exist anymore.
Since the new people have taken over this branch, it has gone down hill quick. Staff have no manners what-so-ever. I wont ever be going back.

Despite presumably spending a fortune doing it up, far less efficient than previously. Takes ages even when no one in the queue
