"When I came in and I was dressed and just normal not shabby clothing so soon after walking in (about one or two minutes at the most) first one clerk and then another clerk came up to me and watched me as I was shopping the first clerk asked me some stupid questions but the second clerk came up and asked me if I was going to get all of the things I put in the basket, I said yes I'm paying for all of it, they both continue to stand very near me until I finish shopping then I went up to the counter and the third clerk (the only one who wasn't trying to be intimidating) and paid the bill came to just about $71"
I tend to find myself in Auto Parts Retail Shops less frequently these days but I appreciate this O'Reily Auto Parts location's measures to keep their employees and customers safe - making masks mandatory for store entry, markings for six feet distancing where customers queue for assistance and plexiglass partitions where customers can receive assistance with their current part needs and pay for their purchases. The lineup for customers was handled swiftly and offered each of us as much personal attention that we required. Some needed more guidance as they pondered which part would be most appropriate for their needs, while a few of us were able to gather the items we required and only needed to complete payment with the friendly employees. thank you for helping me to find the right gifts for a few of the folks on my list this holiday season. I wholeheartedly recommend this store, if you ever need anything from their ample inventory.
I usually like this location on Rainier, ISeattle. Today the older African American gentleman was rude, un-heloful, cindacending, and just the worst representation of customer service I have encountered. As an African American myself I have worked in the corporate ecosystem since 1985. Representation is crucial to a companies success. Not only will I not return to this location. I will now find a alternative auto repair retail shop to spend my hard earned monies. Most of us don't know of car repair and are learning. Knowing that the sales clerk could have easily looked up the requested part but decided to dehumanize a customer is not acceptable.. I would like to iterate I have had a great experience from employees and management up I until today. Regards, Lost a customer
These guys are absolute assholes….I got to the store at 8:45pm and really needed a replacement belt for the alternator. As I was walking up to the store they flicked off the the open sign and locked the door right before I could open it…and on google and on their own signs it says they are opened until 9pm so I should’ve had another 15 minutes to get what I needed out of there. I even called the store and explained to the employee that I was outside and I really needed the replacement belt and he still wouldn’t let me get it. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life nobody go here everybody is rude and stuck up and wants to see people suffering. I will be filing a formal complaint with the corporate headquarters tomorrow.
EMPLOYEE TRIED TO PHYSICALLY FIGHT ME. This oreillys has the rudest counter staff. Came in yesterday and an employee refused to serve me because he “didnt like the face I was making” and him and another employee proceeded to laugh at me while I’m just trying to buy a socket. Came in today and had the exact same experience with both employees and got gaslit in front of the manager. Then the original employee had to be held back by the other employees as I was leaving because he was threatening to follow me outside. I was told “people who work in retail are just people”. So what does that make me? NEVER returning to this store after I have been coming for years. I will most definitely be filing a safety complaint with corporate

I am a mobile mechanic and have went to almost all the Oreily’s from Shoreline to Tacoma, I have seen lazy staffs, I have been given the wrong parts, but it’s alright, at least they were all talking in a way like a normal human! This Jayman guy here however, is a completely different animal, literally! He has a bad attitude for no apparent reason, I came to the store in peace to ask for a historic reprint of the receipt but this guy just have to make this whole process so unpleasant, even a robber talks more respectful than him, and causes less damage to the store than he did!
Everyone has been fairly helpful so far. They do their best despite all the irate/confused walk-ins assaulting the front counter with no regard for whether staff is already helping someone else. Seems like there are some training gaps among the younger crew members, though. I bought an online order and it was 20 minutes before they found it on the back shelf. Good dudes who want to help solve problems, just need way better resources/training.
I recently visited the O’Reilly on 2805 Rainier Ave to purchase a couple of items. One item wasn’t available and the employee offered to get it shipped from the store in Renton. I checked a couple hours later and the item was ready for pickup, that is great service! Thank you Jennifer for the great customer service, friendliness and welcoming attitude. Wish more places had people like Jennifer working for them.
Our car broke down in intersection next to this and we had to push it into their parking lot. The staff were all either unqualified, unhelpful, or downright rude. I know they're not a repair shop and didn't expect then to fix my car for me, but we were in a bad situation and were consistently being given the run around, talked down to and disrespected. Would not come here again for anything.
I came here to purchase brake lights after finding 1 off my brake light was not working. I looked up online, went into the store, picked the only available part which was an opened box so I asked for a new part, only to get bad customer service and talked down to. Not all O'Reilly are created equal, I will still shop at O'Reilly just not at this particular store.
O’Reilly is just simply the best of all the parts stores. Their staff are the most friendly and knowledgeable and this holds true at every store I’ve visited all across this country. Bought tire chains yesterday and ended up needing them going over Snoqualmie Pass last night. Gentleman at the front was super nice and helpful. Sorry that I can’t remember his name.
Oreily make it super hard to use warranty on their products bought from their stores years ago. Make sure to keep all receipts, and remember all info related to warranty. Because if you don't, Oreily will abandon you, and you will have to pay full price, for a new similar part. Most Oreily stores employees need more customer service training.
I came to get my codes read, and had an employee who couldn't read OBD codes fail to find the OBD port and insisted we just needed an oil change, despite every single light being on on our dash.He then became aggressive when we told him we would go elsewhere for a second opinion. Loud and wrong, the worst combination-- never coming back.
This store is in an economically diverse area and at a very busy intersection. I feel safe when I shop there thanks to the tidy store and the manager/staff. All super helpful considering all the crazy folk that drift by. The manager really knows cars, too! If you ever need anything, Paul knows what to do. I trust him.
Fantastic customer service. I came in with so many questions, and all of the employees were helpful and provided great suggestions. One employee even went above and beyond by going outside in the rain to take a look at my car with me. I will definitely return the next time I have car needs!
Great service and knowledgeable staff at this location. Been using this location for over a year now, and have been extremely pleased by the level of effort and detail that I have received from at least five different associates employed here. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work.
Came in to the store on Fri, 1/22/21, looking for a headlight bulb for my 2006 Odyssey. The young man that helped me (African-American, with an Afro) had great information that helped me make an informed choice. It was nice to ask for help and have someone follow thru. Kudos!!!
I was late for work, desperate for a battery. Lovely young woman helped me over the phone & had it ready for me when I showed up. She could tell I was freaking out & was very calm an nice to me. She brought the new one out to the car & took the old one away. Very helpful.
I give no stars. The customer service was terrible the second we walked in the store. And when we were asking about prices for parts the guy had an attitude for no reason. Also when I asked about price matching he told us to go to the other storr and buy the parts.
On New Years day the two employees in there went above and beyond. The gentleman with the shaved head made sure I didnt leave without everything I needed for my tire repair. Never have I done a tire repair but felt confident after getting advice from the staff.
One of the staff tested my battery and said all I needed was a charge and too come back in 2 hour, when I came to pick it up another staff told me my battery was no good. They’re giving out mis information and false hope to a customers problem to be resolved.
They don’t allow me to return the product which I bought in another oReily store. And their reason is because we opened the box and tried the product which the only way to know it doesn’t fit our car! Their attitude is also very rude towards customers!
I'm the owner of Aegis Detail & Correction Inc. And currently have a commercial account with Oreileys. Great staff, usually very knowledgeable excluding new hires. Great products and will allow you to replace anything granted you have the receipt.
Great diverse inventory to choose from, parking can be a hassle sometimes, and there is always a sale going on so it makes prices great depending if the item you want is on sale that week. The staff on the other hand is seriously lacking.
Always is out of things I come in for. Whether it be black raven gloves or detailing products. Last time came in for gloves guy said "I haven't seen those in a minute." Without offering any other brand they currently had in stock.
Busy, busy, busy.. but when I did finally get to the front of the line the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. With quality customer service and doing the best they can to keep some inventory in stock my experience here is good
1 out of every 10 employees actually listens. The rest assume they know what you’re talking about and they don’t. You’ll have to steer the conversation in the direction you want it to go. Don’t get railroaded by their fast talk.
I received good advice, and friendly service at this O'Reilly store! I was looking for "rust-converting primer" and the clerk found me a product which he said was more what I needed. Although dubious, I gave it a try, and it
This location had really awesome folks working there. This place is awesome and the folks know what they are talking about. Don't go to the other auto parts stores. These folks get it right the first time.
Terrible customer service. Homie at the counter was barking at me and being aggressive towards a paying customer. I wished him a good day any way. I won’t buy anything from this store again.
I had a flat tire situation near here and all the guys in the shop went out of their way to help us troubleshoot. They went above and beyond and were so very appreciated! Thanks
Very helpful place. I went in for a burnt out tail light bulb, which turned into three burnt out bulbs. They had a parking lot that accommodated bulb replacement, which helped.
It was amazing! The customer service was great and they knew how to do a lot of stuff. It was raining and the worker went outside to help us. Thank you so much!
This O Reilys Auto shop was very helpful! And I was accommodated when I needed information about my car. I was happy with the help they gave me with my car!
Nice people but totally clueless... didn’t know what a “crush washer” is, tried to sell me a stainless flat washer instead. Yikes. Hope this improves.
Customer service suck. At least the 2 times I went there. Hopefully the rep gets trained, otherwise finding what I looked for was easy breezy:););)
stay away, if you are going to ask something they treat you like crazy and do not give you the necessary help for what you are looking for
Two very nice salespeople yesterday, didn't make me feel stupid about my questions regarding installing wiper blades and turn signals.
It's got to be hard to run a business when people lower in your parking lot but once inside the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Employee making inappropriate comments about the way I dress and refused to help me with the auto parts I bought.
Lulu was a great help on a really bad day!! Was even willing to price match their competition. 5 stars for Lulu
Your store representative was so nice helping this old Gal to install new headlight bulbs! Thank You!
The customer service here is fantastic and they go the extra step to help you with your needs.
They have a much larger selection of tools and accessories than the average auto parts store.
Went to buy a car battery. Customer service was great and they were knowledgeable.
They sold me used product and then wouldn't let me return it
The customer service was great and very knowledgeable!
Very helpful and knows about cars and trucks.
Did quick work, friendly staff. Good spot.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
