OK Tire safety my wife’s van. She bought it through approval Genie in Kingston. Apparently approval Genie is saying. Because we were having transmission problems if you read my Google review on approval Genie. We brought the van back to approval genie they told us to bring it back to OK tire to have everything looked at. But according to approval genie OK Tire said there’s nothing wrong with the transmission in the van. The transmission is binding up. They’re blaming that on brakes that they put on the van and apparently changed but we still have the same issue. I’m not sure who’s to blame here OK Tire for saying there’s nothing wrong with your transmission or approval genie for not standing behind the vehicles that they sell. My wife is now paying for a van that she cannot drive Well not sure where to start. We got a van from Kingston Ontario. It has been plagued with problems since we got it. First the deal was done but took almost a month to receive the van. Kept getting excuses. Only to find out the van was coming from Quebec. They sold a van that wasn’t even registered in Ontario to us. Then we finally received the van after the financial company took the first payment out. So problems with the van first the brakes were grabbing and had problems with the steering wheel controls. They did fix that due to that was safety issues. Now the transmission isn’t shifting properly took it into dodge to get fluid level checked. Fluid is where it should be. But is burnt according to the dodge tech. My wife had to call bomb the sales man Brian because we first sent a text about the issue. He said he would talk to management. But no response back from him. The van only has 118000 km on it the fluid shouldn’t be burnt. So once again we are calling and texting and sending emails. Now we are not getting any response. I will be posting every day until we get this resolved. We have had the van under 30 days.

I switched my winter tires out for my summer tires this weekend and we found a nail in the sidewall of the back right tire. I was told that I'd have to replace the whole tire by my friend's mechanic--it wasn't in an area that could be patched! I had gotten my winter tires this year from these lovely folks (and they were excellent tires!) so I figured I'd give them a call today and see if they could order a tire and install it onto my wheel at some point in the near foreseeable future. They were unable to find the tires I have, but found a brand that matched the tire treads of my current ones almost perfectly! AND had it in stock! AND THEN Tori, the lovely person at the front desk, told me that it'd be easy enough to just squeeze me in at some point, since it was such a small job, that she would definitely call me back to tell me when I could bring my car in so he didn't stay at the autoshop indefinitely. I said thanks, that'd be LOVELY, already excited that they already HAD a tire for me and I wouldn't have to wait for one to come in. I also said no worries for the rush, considering the pandemic cause it's not like I'm going anywhere ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I expected her to call back like. Tomorrow or later in the week, but she called back THE SAME DAY and was able to squeeze me in at 2! They disposed of the old tire, installed the new one, and had it ready to go in 40ish minutes. I did NOT expect such fast service, but HERE WE ARE! I absolutely love Fielding's OK Tire and would definitely recommend them! Thanks for fitting me in today, folks! :D

I've had decent experiences at this shop in the past. Typically all tire related... Called last week to book an appointment for seasonal tire change. Person on phone (Eric?) Told me come in Nov 17th and drop car off for the day and the change would be completed before day end. When I dropped the car off, the employees working the desk made sure I knew that they didn't like this and furthermore could not guarantee the work would get done, since it had snowed the day before. Not sure if a GREED thing trying to book too many cars in, or a LAZINESS thing on part of the employees who were to receive my car. Regardless, there is a communication problem and it looks unprofessional. I won't be returning. Too bad, since I planned to buy all new alloys and hardware for BOTH of my cars come spring time. ‍♂️

After struggling for 4 years to find a place that would change my tires and not scratch my very expensive Toyota trd black wheels, I have no hesitation in saying these guys are the only ones in town who can! Over the past 4 years I have tried 5 different places, and they all managed to damage the paint one way or another. Three different Dealers, and two different tire shops failed miserably. Ok tire took their time, listened to my concerns, cleaned and shined the wheels and tires, and even told me my brakes were getting low, which I already knew but never asked them to do! Most places would charge extra for a visual brake inspection, even when the wheels are off... I have no hesitation going back here again. They know what they are doing and they take their time doing it right. Thank you!

These guys saved my neck. We had a tire blow out on the 401 on the Sunday of Family Day week-end. Nightmare. We had an appointment for Tuesday afternoon with a competitor. On the advice of a friend I called these guys Tuesday morning at 7:55, a few minutes before they even technically opened and they said I could come in right away. By 8:30 I was selecting options and by 8:40 the work was underway. By 10:00 I was at the hotel loading the car up to continue our journey back to Toronto. These guys were amazing, service first rate, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The competitor called me on Wednesday morning to say they had just got the tires. Guess I would have lost yet another day on my 6 hour drive if I hadn’t found out about OK Tire. Very grateful I went here.

If I could give no stars I would. Took my car here for a wheel alignment. As a young person this business tried to take advantage of that. They called saying that they couldn’t even do the wheel alignment because the suspension was so terrible. I got there and they quoted over a thousand dollars to fix it and said that it is very dangerous to drive as the car would fall apart from the ball joints having play. Took it back to our mechanic and he said that there is absolutely nothing lose and no play in the ball joints. These people who work here are completely dishonest and trying to take advantage of people. Never go here as they will try to completely rip you off and make you change things that do not need to be changed to get more money out of you.

This place is a scam! I brought my car here to get an alignment done, was told they couldn’t because my ball joints were worn to the point my wheels would fall off the car if I continued to drive it. I was quoted $1300 to fix my “suspension issue” for what was supposed to be an $124 alignment. That is a lot of money for a student to spend so I drove off to think about it, went to my trusted mechanic back home and got an assessment to find no issues with my suspension. This place has crooks working for them, trying to scam innocent people whom they hope don’t have knowledge on cars and will just pay for not needed repair. DO NOT GO HERE

Could not be happier with the service here! As someone who knows literally nothing about my car, I feel great about bringing it to the guys at Fielding’s. They take the time to explain what my car needs (without making me feel like an idiot, which as a woman is refreshing!!) and they are willing to work with me and my time and budget (especially as a broke grad student). They do fantastic work and I trust them with my car! I’ve even stopped calling my dad when they tell me I need something!! Thanks you guys so much, I really appreciate your hard work!!

I needed to get my tire checked out, my sensor was showing low air but this usually means a slow leak from a nail, etc... It was a Saturday in early November, no one could check my tire or do a repair, too busy with winter tire changeover. This was my 3rd stop and I am so happy they could help. They checked, let me know tire was fine, topped up air and I was ready to go 30 minutes later. I was stressed with a car-full of kids getting back to Toronto the next day. Thank you very much for your help and knowledgable service.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. I needed to have a tire repaired from picking up a nail somewhere in my travels. This is one of the few garages that will repair a tire properly by dismounting the tire and taking the time to plug AND patch the hole, remount and balance. All of this done for a few dollars more than just a plug at other places. All done within a very reasonable amount of time... I will definitely shop here for my next set of tires.

I have had no end of trouble getting someone to balance tires for our vehicle properly. I learned that Fielding's have a road force balancer, so decided to give them a try. I have now had 2 sets of tires installed & balanced by them with zero issues. Both times the work was completed when promised, & there is no vibration at all from the wheels & tires. If you want quality tire service in Kingston, this is the place to come as far as I am concerned.

I was in town visiting my mother who was in the hospital in Kingston, needed an oil change, so went here. The guy who helped me at the counter was nice. Two mechanics mocked me when they didn't think I could hear them because I asked them to replace a 'front headlight'. Apparently it's just called a 'headlight'. If that's how you treat customers when you think you are talking behind their back, that's very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I got a flat tire with my daughter's in the van. I called and they didn't have my tire in the system so the gentleman went and checked their storage and found me one. They got me in and out in under 30 min with a full tire change. They also gave me an amazing price. Would definitely recommend and i will be a return customer. Thank you for saving my weekend. Sorry I can only give 5 stars and no more.

I just had my winter tires put on my winter car at OK Tire in Kingston. The experience was great. They walked me through the purchase of great set of tires at a great price. Had an awesome experience from getting a quote for new tires for my vehicle to getting them put on today. They were able to change my oil at the same time as putting on the tires (which I only requested once I was there) saving me a trip back. Much appreciated. On my way to Toronto from Montreal had a broken belt in a tire, called and went all over Kingston and no one had my size in stock, hard to believe. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had with vehicle services. They have a fantastic reputation within the military community and the city at large, and for good reason. I've purchased a few sets of tires for various vehicles from Fielding's. Erik and his staff are always helpful and on the ball. I bought a set of Cooper AT 2's for my 2012 Touareg a month ago. Last week I got a screw in one of them and within 30 minutes they had the tire fixed at no charge. I wouldn't buy tires from anywhere else. Thanks guys!

So far the best service I've found in Kingston. They call to inform you on progress on your vehicle, they are upfront, honest and trustworthy. They also took the time to diagnose a tricky issue with my vehicle where many other shops would not have, giving me massive peace of mind and preventing future damage to my vehicle.

I had an emergency with a warped tire and called OK Tire to not only change the one tire but all four tires from all season to my winter ones. They fit me in right away. The girl at the front desk was very polite and helpful. Tires were done in 1 hour and the price was right. Thank you for getting me out of a tight spot !

Very knowledgeable and excellent service. Not just a tire store they can service any vehicle. They were my mechanic of choice with my 2007 BMW. They were able to diagnose and repair some fairly major and unusual issues with different sensors (SZL module) and seized steering column to name a few. I highly recommend them.

Ok tire Kingston has excellent service. My family was out for a morning drive to the rink when we got a piece of Kingston stuck in our tires. We gave the guys at OK a call and they were able to fix us up with a new tire and send us on our way. I would highly recommend them for all your tire needs and vehicle services.

OK was recommended to me after finding a nail in my tire and having my spare installed They were awesome! I dropped in with no appointment booked and they happily took the tire, fixed it and called the next morning to have it installed. I will definitely be going there for all my automotive needs from now on

They are first-come first-serve on Saturdays. I arrived at 8am and they appeared to be pretty busy but the staff were very efficient and helpful. Gave me a great price on winter tires and had my car ready by 11am (there was a long list of people ahead of me). Very polite staff, great service, and great prices.

Stuck in Kingston with a dead car on an overnight trip from Ottawa. Tow truck brought us to this shop on a busy Thursday around noon heading into a long weekend. Shawn went above and beyond and we were back on the road by 4pm with a new alternator. If we were local this would be our new shop of choice.

I did my steering wheel alignment there. It was a minor problem. The only thing they did was change the toe from right to left. I brought the car for the second time and they made it even worse. Now my steering wheel is pulling to the sides. It’s not centered at all. I paid more than 120 for nothing.

I ordered up some great new tires and rims for my truck with the help of Erik F over at OK Tire Kingston. Extremely helpful and kind staff in there. Tires went on today and my mind is blown! I’m so super happy how everything looks and feels while driving. I highly recommend this business to all!

Very professional. Had a four wheel alignment done on our 2021 Tesla model Y. Tires wearing on the inside, investigated, explained and given printed results. All for $110+taxes. Only thing is I whish waiting room allowed you to see work being done. Can for some things but not alignment work.

They always do great work here and are very quick. I never feel like I'm being played or taken advantage of here. They are very willing to work with you to get your car fixed, or whatever work you need done. On top of that, they are very friendly and very knowledgeable.

The shop went out of their way to order tires and rims for me at very short notice. I had them mounted and ready to go for the long weekend in about 3 days. Unbelievable customer service and I highly recommend this this shop. Definitely worth the 5 star rating!

Haven’t got my tires fixed there but they answered quickly the phone and all my questions about prices and availability nicely. The location is not optimal considering the high traffic this street and they do not answer to the appointment request made online.
