Good mechanics are hard to come by, and when you drive your car like its the last lap of the indie 500 like me and your auto repairs tools consist of zip ties duck tape and a hammer, then you'll certainly need one. Now while those tools are certainly adequate, some things require a more, professional touch. Enter OTS, these guys now what they are doing, and for me thats golden. The prices are good, they are crystal clear on what they are doing and they never try to up-sell you, they diagnose accurately and fix the issue plain and simple. They have been around a while, and after seeing the work and the result its obvious they will be around for many years to come. My car at the time of this review in for a new transmission, i called them explained my cars F#$%&@ and the issues it was having, they found me a good used transmission and quoted me FAR less than i was expecting. I will be using them again in the future for sure.

I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of service, honesty, and pure professionalism the guys at OTS provide. What’s great about OTS is they will tell you what’s going on and give you options, and tell you straight up if you don’t really need to get it repaired right away, and if you can let it go. They don’t push customers into getting something fixed. On top of providing quality guidance, their prices are far lower than any other shop around. They worked on both my vehicles for the last decade, from tune ups, to air conditioners, to fuel tanks / injection systems. Recently I had an issue where my transmission fluid leaked out after a change, took it back to them, they fixed it at no extra charge. And, for the record, that’s the only time I’ve ever had an issue following them working on my vehicle after a full decade of service. Seriously, these are mechanics and business owners you can honestly trust.

I chose to use OTS for a 30,000 maintenance check after being referred by my son, who got to know the folks at OTS as part of his auto parts route. I was very pleased with their work. I was even more pleased that I didn't have to endure a call from some service advisor trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. James , the owner, was very straightforward, and there were no surprises. It's hard to find people you can trust in any industry these days, but the automotive sector is notorious for working customers over, and after meeting James and Rob at OTS, I had absolutely no concerns. Thanks to everyone at OTS for restoring my faith in the automotive maintenance industry and more so in humanity.

As always it was a pleasure to have an appointment at OTS. While the mechanic was changing my oil he noticed a gasket ( I'm not using the right wording here) is wearing on my transmission. James checked it out and let me know it will need to be replaced in about 9 months. I feel so secure in my 2005 Nisson because I know the experts at OTS are doing their best to keep it up and running safely. Its always fun chatting with James, Bob and anyone else available. We discussed health and exercise this time! I love the Experts at OTS!! Plus the oil change took about 10 minutes.

Have been a many time repeat customer and will continue to come back. We have an older vehicle that is just in one of those places in it's life that it needs a good part replacement once or twice a year as a new part breaks. These guys have been honest, upfront, and straight forward with me since day one - and it's been over 5 years. Never had any issues with them or the work they have done on any car. Really couldn't be happier with the work that they have done and how well they have taken care of all of our cars. Highly recommended.

I never write reviews, but the guys at this shop are awesome so I had to! When my car suddenly stopped, I wasn't really sure what was going on. And as a woman, anytime I have car troubles I have some concern about if I'm getting a fair price or, if the information I'm receiving at an auto shop is correct. And at OTS I never felt uncomfortable or like they were trying to "pull one over" on me. The work was fast and effective, the pricing was more than fair, and the customer service was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

from scheduling to completed repairs, OTS is a 10. They replaced my catalytic converter. Prompt service and a fair price. They provided diagnostic proof that the converter was failing. OTS also take the time to provide real usable advice. OTS also did an overall check of my vehicle (not requested by me), found a couple of non critical items that could be repaired but indicated "if it does not need fixing, don't" unless it is critical. It is hard to find honest businesses, this one is a keeper !

Im not usually one to write reviews, but I have to say these guys were outstanding. I was running into issues with a dealer I was purchasing a used car from, but these guys took care of the vehicle and worked with me to achieve the best possible outcome. Super strong customer service and communication, willingness to work with me on timeframe, and very knowledgeable about my BMW. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a solid mechanic. Will definitely use them again.

OTS hasn't done me wrong yet! My only real issue is that everywhere is so busy nowadays, it is hard to get an appointment sometimes and of course I moved here from Nashville, where all my labor was free! So, the retail side hit me kind of hard but I feel their pricing is fair and I haven't had any issues with the quality thus far, and I have had A LOT of work done! Until they do me wrong, I plan on returning with more future work for my 1993 Chevy S-10.

Thanks again to all the masters at OTS auto repair, they recently finished helping me build my race car, going from 300 horsepower stock to over 600whp. All in the time of about a week total. Can't rave enough about these dudes. I shop around a lot since I drive an old beater. Every person I've talked to here has been nothing but honest and they have no qualms about sending you to another business if they can do a better job at specific things. When they work on your car, they do it right the first time. I always come here first and will do so for all of my cars. Such a breath of fresh air in the industry!

Desperate to fix the AC to my vehicle I came upon OTS after contacting several auto shops. The were able to squeeze me in and fixed my AC as well as a windshield wiper fluid leak. James was awesome with communicating with me in a breakdown text of the issues and cost. Had my vehicle back in two days. I can't thank them enough for helping me out. This is a really awesome Repair Shop. They will not charge you for unnecessary repairs. They would instead help and guide you. They would try to give you the optimum solution even if it means they are not making money by helping you. This is the only place in Austin where I'll take my car. The mechanics here are knowledgeable, friendly, fast and fair. The waiting room is clean (wiped down during COVID, too) and cozy.

Outrageous prices, quoted me $350+ (3 hours) for a simple resonator delete. Everywhere else is less than an hour and under $100. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else.
