Ottawa Local Movers were absolutely terrific. My mother had died and I had to empty her condo. Some boxes and furniture had to be removed and other boxes and furniture had to be moved to another location, from which they had to collect additional items for junk removal. They were patient, helpful, organized and fast. I needed a company that was flexible, efficient and could move items fairly quickly -- esp. since we had freezing rain that night. I hired them a second time for a smaller move and was equally pleased with their services. Despite a heavy snow storm, they still came and did a great job. Anyone looking for movers who will also do junk removal should choose this company -- I have still some more furniture to dispose of and I will be calling them for sure. They were terrific. I called Ottawa Local Movers and Junk Removal Service to help remove furnitures and boxes of stuff from my recently deceased mother's appartment. The mover I talked to, offered to come right away, accomodated all our requests to drop off stuff at different addresses and took care of all the junk. He was super patient with the two ratlled and grieving sons, business-like and efficient. All and all, we received amazing service at a really affordable rate. Thanks to him a big weight was removed from our shoulders.

I needed 4 rooms with substantial furniture moved to various storage places in my home as the entire second floor is being stripped of popcorn and repainted. The 2 movers who came were excellent: articulate, respectful of my property and the value of some of the items they were moving, polite, knowledgeable and worked quickly. They even moved items that had not been emptied. Highly recommended. Once the renovation is done they will, of course, be invited back to move everything back to where it will now go.

We had a bedroom set that was purchased and they moved it from where we bought it to our 2 level bedroom. They moved an armoire for us to the garage. Assembled the bed for us. Careful and attentive while moving the furniture. I would use them again. We had Sean who is very thoughtful amd Mike who is good at helping place the furniture in the room. They were a few hours later than expected but they did fit us in on short notice.

Mike was kind, professional, careful and helpful. He arrived on time and got straight to work. Clearly, Mike was experienced as he dismantled and re-assembled our ikea bed and desk with ease as well as our recliner (we didn’t know they came apart!). Thank you, Mike!!! We were moving a friend from her apt to a seniors residence. It was complicated. Elevators and long distances both places. Mike and Sudan were excellent and thiughtful. Taking a complicated bed apart and putting it back together. The team was very careful with our friends things nothing was damaged. We have used them many times over the years. I had to do an emergency unplanned move of 3500 lbs of drywall from driveway to garage (I didn't know Home Depot won't place deliveries in an open garage anymore) before rain got into the packaging. These guys were able to come save the day the same day I called them, and were friendly and helpful. Definitely would use again.

They damaged the bulletin board on our property by prying it open to put their business card inside. When asked to compensate us for the replacement cost they never responded. Very unprofessional conduct.
