A Real Estate agent was so offensive when I asked him if he had affordable housing here or around that was my inspiration to write this review. He said "Oakridge is not for poor people, look somewhere else" There's going to be 11 new tall towers but prices are an assault (extremely high) and for those like me and maybe you who are reading and who have lived and worked in this city for almost 25 years. I hoped my elected municipal government acted in favor of those who have been living and working here for many years but it seems not the case. We feel lonely. We cannot afford ridiculously overpriced apartments at his development on Oakridge or along all the corridors new developments. Please DON'T BE INDIFFERENT, join me or advocate for yourselves. Raise your voices against abusive rental and sale prices from real state agents and from people who abuse their privilege of having places to rent. WE NEED AFFORDABLE HOUSING, WE NEED EQUITY FOR ALL BUT SPECIALLY FOR THOSE HARD WORKING PEOPLE WITH LOW SALARIES. FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE LET US BE NOT INDIFFERENT!!! Dec 2018 We hoped when the new buildings development begins at Oakridge, the area changes to a more affordable housing area and definitely accommodate many more low income persons and families. Hopefully there will be more addiction's services, safe injections sites and shelters for the homeless and more food banks. Affordable housing (NOT MARKET PRICE as some people want to confuse us) really affordable housing is what we need. Housing according to the low income of working class people of Canada is what we need. Needs a proper remodel and expansion. With the coming Oakridge Centre and new blocks of apartments along Cambie street. It seems the station does not have the capacity to handle the influx of passengers efficiently, at least not in its current state. The escalators are slow, there are many staircases, and missing a proper bus station? Please! The large crowds rushing in and out to get to their buses on time is just asking for a multi-vehicle accident, couldn't something be done so buses are consolidated to one place? What about a washroom? A 5 minute walk to the nearest? Not great! It's a underground station none the less.

This station is one of the major station of the Canada Line and SkyTrain. Being one of the major stations, the station only has 1 entrance like a majority of this downsized Canada Line not made for future use. Only 2-car trains and not full 80m platform. The station platforms can only be accessed from 1 entrance and only from 1 side for the north bound platform by going down 1 level and then back up 1 level. If it was designed like some others like CityHall or Waterfront to accessed both platform easier that'd be a different story.

there's a newspaper stand/convenience shop inside which makes it pretty convenient if you need something to eat or buy the day's newspapers. i wish all skytrain shops had one of these. if you're travelling on the skytrain destined for waterfront, you gotta take two flights of stairs. on the other hand, it's right in front of oakridge centre which what matters the most. easy access to the main entrance. would have been better if the station connected directly to oakridge mall. like all canada line stations, its clean.

Skytrains are usually on time. If it is rush hours, be prepared to get squished. If you are heading to downtown, you will need to go downstairs, walk under the tracks and back up. Annoying, especially if you are with a heavy bike or wheelchair.

I haven't travelled here for a long while since the 41st & Cambie location was rendered inaccessible to the public commuters while renovations were underway, and now I guess they're almost done and it's back to the way it used to be.

If you do not have a monthly transit pass and go to any of the three stop on Sea Island. Buy your return ticket back to save yourself $5 if you are coming back the same day.

It’s overall just a pretty regular station, not exceptionally clean but not bad. Services the Canada Line and has direct access to the R4.

Such a small station with many stairs, not sure it will handle the usage by increased population due to the surrounding new developments.

Although under construction of a massive, beautiful city-within-a-city, there are still some services open and available!

Good station point to catch the Canada line skytrain to downtown Vancouver or into Richmond.

Awesome stop that is quick for everyone to get off and on right after shopping the mall

Shops are gradually closing due to the redevelopment of the shopping mall.

Clean, usually there are staff to point you in the right direction

It's in desperate need of a refurbishment and expansion.
