Leaving aside a couple, the whole team at officework Parafield is really rude and arrogant. Went to store today at 7:15 am to get a toner for my printer. I got the printer but the cash I had was not enough to pay for it. The tech guy...., suggest to do click and collect as the order comes within couple of minutes of payment and I could then take it. Got details of the card and ordered it via click and collect . Even after me paying it , the order did not reach their system so he could not give me the toner. Went and came back at 8:15am , phone battery already running flat. I ask the staff member at the cash counter to check if the confirmation has come through as I had already got a confirmation. She says nothing yet. I requested to borrow a charger for my iPhone ( another staff member had done that for me before and they do have spare ones for staff to charge) so that I could charge and contact the helpdesk . She says NO in a rude manner. So Impolite and arrogant. Just did not want to be helpful. She and couple of other ladies should be sacked or should be sent for customer service training. As this is not the first time she has done with customers. ( don't want to disclose her name but she is short structured with glasses) . I believe the manager should look into the staffs behaviour. Anyways after 2 hours I got a confirmation to collect, when my husband goes to collect the cashier girl , does not even greet and just looks at the computer in front of her. No eye contact as if she is ignoring him. SO much attitude but a mere console operator...…… IT IS SHOCKING I will never go there again and also share this incident with friends to warn them of not going there. Just because of few bad staff even the good staff loose their reputation

I had a terrible experience with an employee named Kimberley. I came in to have two documents printed and bound. She called me over to the desk and proceeded to lean her entire upper torso over the desk while chewing loudly with her mouth open. While printing she leant against the printer, which caused a massive paper jam of my document (she told this to another staff member while it happened). She returned with less than half my document printed and was then trying to work out which pages had printed and which had not – the document did not have page numbers. I told her that it was important that the document be in order and asked if she could simply reprint the whole document. She said she could at a cost to myself because “paper-jams aren’t our fault”. I explained they weren’t mine either. She told me that she would print the missing pages and “then it would be perfect, okay?”. I was very uncomfortable and made to feel like a burden so at this point I decided to pay for what had been done and leave. She then offered to reprint the whole document for free “because you complained”. I’d had enough at this point, paid and then went to leave. I decided to speak to a manager before I went and she was incredibly understanding, helpful and sincere. She completed the binding for free and apologized for my experience. I thanked her for being so great about it all and left. It should be noted that all other staff were friendly, greeted me and were alert and attentive to other customers throughout. I will go back to this Officeworks on the excellent response from the manager, I wish I got her name.

Highly recommend! Great range of stock and helpful staff who (most of the time) are non-resistant to letting me hang around at the store and listen to me talk about all things related to me. I’ve been a customer of Officewokks Paramatta for many a moon, almost as long as I’ve had the pleasure of knowing a most remarkable duck I befriended in my glory days. Their high quality, trumpery products are second to none. From art supplies to filming equipment with night vision and telescopic zoom perfect for more than just bird watching) their isn’t much they don’t sell, that is, unless you’re after the full box dvd set of Mcguyver’s best hits. I continuously try (without success) to order this in and I vow to never stop trying. It was that old scallywag of a duck, my beloved bosom buddy and cherished companion who taught me (though interpretive dance) to never give up and always chase your dreams. Why don’t you relentlessly chase your dreams today (whatever they may be) at Offisewerks Paralowie.

If I get a chance to rate 0 or lower, I would love to. I wanted to print passport photo, the 1st agent was very nice to explain the new kiosk doesn't support the self service and their camera has issues to provide the service and recommend to reach out to Elizabeth branch. Also recommended to call before going to confirm the working conditions. That's when things got doozy. Elizabeth branch didn't support any call at the time. When approached the second agent to find out alternative options or near by branches this was the reply in a condescending tone "if they don't answer the call, it's not our problem, mate". Not sure if this is the usual customer service she provides in general and I wonder how come this person is representing such a big national wide organisation with this mindset and attitude. Glad I am not a regular customer with this group.

2 stars because of the staff being helpful enough but not really. This place is a jokes. I am a regular customers and today I decided to go for binding. So the staff told me that their busy and Unable to get the job done until the next day which is understandable at first point. So she was friendly enough to 'assist' me with looking on nearby branch and give it a call. So it is 5:30 in the evening and I have to either drive to Elizabeth or prospect. I went and it is a huge let down that I drove 20-25 minute during a traffic and get an answer that I wont be able to get it done until the next day. So what is the point of making the call and making those drive? I was told that there is not enough staff to work at Parafield and what are those staff that from my understanding which are just 4-5 of them that hanging around the back of the store?

I've always been able to have gr8 service from staff at parafield shop. Unfortunately on the 3rd of March I posted a parcel with there mailman service . I've used the mailman service b4 but this time it took 27days to reach my cuz in NSW were I've always sent parcels to. I didnt know that they pass all parcels onto other mail company's. So my little cuz got her birthday present almost a month late. When parcel did arrive it had bn sent back n forth twice from adelaide to Sydney why nobody knows and why do we bother putting our phone numbers for sender plus receiver if nobody uses the numbers. It wasn't right both her mum and myself kept calling up from either end. Both of us was told it was waiting at each others state to be picked up. Dosnt add up dose it. Seriously I always thought the mailman was a good postal service till now.

Great service at Parafield Gardens today! The day had gotten away from me and I realised I hadn’t yet called into Office Works to print some images I needed. At the printing station I had received an error message. It was 4:30pm and as I am technically challenged, I requested assistance at the service desk. I was super relieved to be promptly served by Renee who was so friendly and helpful. Instead of referring me back to the station with instructions, she did not hesitate to go above and beyond to assist me and took only a couple of minutes to print and process payment for me. I’m sure Renee would have had other duties to complete before close, so I’d appreciate it greatly if you could pass on my feedback to the store manager and my thanks again to Renee for her assistance.

Went to buy back to school laptop and case. Staff provided a helpful and friendly service with respect to every item we wanted to purchase. We selected a laptop from the displays but were provided with the wrong box at checkout. Therefore when we got it home and unpacked our purchase, we found that it was completely different from the one we had chosen. We called the store, they did not seem too concerned. We then drove all the way back to exchange it. The thing that made us really upset was that when we got home again we realised that while we now had the correct laptop, the case that was sold to us as a suitable cover was the incorrect size. When we rang and raised this issue with a manager, there was very little sympathy and no apology. Would not shop at this store again.

Usually I've only had positive experiences with other officeworks but I came in to this one tonight to get printing done, I arrived at 6:40, which I understand is 20 minutes until closing but they told me I couldn't get A1 printing done without a booking which I know I've walked in and had done at officeworks, even at this one before. Lying to a customer instead of just saying "no sorry there's no time for us to get it done before closing" doesn't come off very well for you guys. If I had simply been told there was no time instead of being lied to about the service having to be booked I would have said that was fine, I get it was last minute at 15 minutes to close at this point; but you just don't lie to customers.

Of the three times I've used the printing service, the staff have been disappointing with their service. The first time was online and I was told the prints would take 7-14 days. On day 16 I called and was told they had been sitting there for a while; no apology. The second and time times I used the in store service and although it says 2 hours, both time have exceeded the wait time and both times the staff have blamed being too busy. Currently, I've been standing in line (which isn't moving) for 15 mins to pick up my prints and the staff appear to be under supported and generally disorganised. I will be going elsewhere in future. With that said, the prints are a nice quality and the prices are reasonable.

Been here twice now. First time N (female name, ending with "i") was gas bagging with another female college at the main front cashier counter. Had to wait for them to finish their conversation about their personal lives. Second time I had to get her attention because she had her back to the counter and was on her phone. I had spent a few hundreds of dollars and she forgot to ask for my FlyBuys card. When I realised 1 minute later, I mentioned this to her and she said it was too late and didn't even offer an apology. If you don't like being mentioned here, then lift your game N, so there's nothing to complain about! Will stick to my local Officejerks instead.

The staff here are always friendly and willing to help. I really dislike when I’m talking to someone and they stop listening and say hello to other customers when they walk in. I think it’s just plain rude. I also think there should always be 2 staff members in print and copy at all times. Every time I go in there is a line of people and only one worker. Meanwhile there are 3 others standing round the front door doing nothing. It irritates me and it looks bad that no one helps. There is a great range of products that are cheap and affordable to buy. The car park is massive and always way to find a park but it might change when the place next door is built.

I was there 5 minutes ago and one young man whenever he was asked a question about an item. He responded with we have no stock in the whole country and no orders or you can place an order online. One of there’s responses was an elderly lady who may not have had computer skills. I think he could have said would you like me to place an order for you and there will be a two day turn around. I heard this from the young women behind the cash register, I believe she should excellent customer service. I heard the young man directing customers to Harvey Norman, The Good Guys. It’s just fascinating to hear the difference in customer service.

Staff named Ben was very helpful in finding what I need. Then, I accidentally spilled my water bottle on the floor and Ben was happy to hand me over to another staff so he can clean up the mess I made. I was already off premises when I realised I left my phone in the store. Sanj got my call and he tried to look for my phone to no avail. Ben actually found my phone and handed it over to Sanj who gave me a call to advise it has been found. For me, honesty is a great trait to have amongst your staff apart from great customer service. Hats off to you, Office Works Parafield Gardens!

I went in there today to buy a gaming desk. Exceptional customer service from the young lad just starting out, didn’t catch his name. He was super friendly and helpful, however when he asked for advice from a senior he got what I thought was a bit of a rude and unprofessional reply where he told him he ‘should have watched the training video it’ll tell you how to do these things. Instead of teaching him how it’s done he made that comment in front of me instead of later on when I wasn’t around. I give 5 stars to that young Lad excellent customer service!

This was my closest Officeworks that was open on Easter Monday. Parking was easy and the store was not busy at all. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I found some nice stuff for reduced prices. I was in and out pretty quick and very happy with the whole experience. The only trouble was that my GPS could not find the store by name or by address. The website lists the address as the corner of Main North & Kester roads, in Parafield, but there is no such intersection; the store may be in Parafield, but the intersection is in Para Hills West.

Extremely disappinted with what the store manager did on 27.11.2023. Wanted to buy Galaxy S23 FE which was sold by some other store cheaper. He was excited to help is until then but when we asked him price match him he started drama. He had hell lot of excuses not to price match. Such a incompetent person. Doesnot care about customer. He said no one in Officework will price match. We later went to officework Prospect and the very supportive staff there easily price matched us (no drama at all). I dont know what made him manager. Bery poor fellow.

Well stocked with friendly, helpful service. Loads of parking including disabled parks. Easy entry access, located near Hungry Jacks which has restrooms. Usually a sausage sizzle out the front. Probably less art materials and products than other stores. Recommend ringing in advance if you are after something particular. There is a mobile app you can order in advance and do click and collect for photos, printing etc. Also a self printing photo editing option although there is often a waiting line and some of the machines malfunction.

Very frustrating place to print anything. Every time I have come here it is always so difficult to do a simple print job what should be in and out in under 5 minutes always takes a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour. I am now at 40 minutes wait time and the third attempt that the staff are making to print said 6 pages. Who would have known that wanting to get something printed in better quality could be so freaking difficult! Either faulty printers, incompetent staff or just generally useless equipment.

Came here to buy a mouse after EB Games Parabanks tried to screw me over. They didn't have it in stock but the checkout person checked and found a store with several in stock. She called and made sure they actually had them and asked them to hold it for me. She even set up the price match for me over the phone and gave me directions to the store. All I had to do was show up and pay for it. Very nice customer service! Customer service so good that they're fixing mistakes made by a different company.

Very large store, stocks just about anything and everything in the stationary department, home office or school needs. Online purchase for click and collecting my items was so convenient and quick. Must remember to bring ID and/proof of purchase or text with order details. It’s ergonomic display section isn’t as extensive as some of the other Officeworks store though. Great initiative that there is recycling area near front entrance for your used old technology gear and stationary.

My wife just purchased a "new" desktop computer today from this store. Not only was it not new, it had been returned by the previous customer, who purchased it, as faulty. It had a letter from the manufacturer attached with the previous customer's receipt inside the box stating that it must be replaced as it is faulty. Will be returning first thing tomorrow for this to be sorted out. Not a very good showing from this business in selling her a known defective item as brand new.

Honestly, if you need something as basic like a cable, then this officeworks is fine just for that. But if you really need something very specific like say a mobile phone or a computer monitor, then forget coming here. Had come here in the past to get a new phone and they basically had nothing! That's absolutely pathetic for a store this size! Just look elsewhere should if your looking for that one specific thing, cause this place will just waste your own valuable time.

I would say that was the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The girls were lovely however the gentleman staff member with a beard (Don't worry he'll stand out) was so hostile. I simply couldn't believe what I was witnessing. I believed I asked for his service in a polite and respectful manner but unfortunately received the opposite from him. I now shop at a different office works even though parafield is just around the corner from where I live.

Have tried to call 8 times between 8-9am for it to ring out every time... all I wanted to know is if an item is in stock as per the instructions (to call and confirm) on your website. Not good enough. UPDATE: went down there to find the store quiet, I asked if they’d had a busy morning to be told “ No, we’ve been dead”... I mentioned what happened to be given a blank look and no response... guess they just didn’t want to answer the phone!

I would much rather be served at a front counter like I have always had done… For prints that normally take a minute. When the employee has no customers to deal with, standing there twiddling thumbs and your still to be sent to the self serve to print off a handful of resumes! What it takes to put money over to a usb/card takes longer than to print at front counter! What’s the point of even employing staff in the first place

I was waiting to be served as there was only one CSO at the printing section. The CSO was attending to a customer. She asked twice for assistance from other employees. I look around and noticed other employees were not attending to customers. In then end I had to raise my hand up and request for assistance. Length of time from waiting and being served 20 minutes. That is not a good out come for your business.

This review is to mention a staff member by name Mary-Anne is amazing she held of on her lunch break to finish my complicated order. She is 1 of 2 people that i will trust to do my printing but this time she went above and beyond. With staff like this the shop is able to provide a good service. I however have had issues here with delivers etc. This is never the fault of the shop itself so well done.

Came to this place to copy driving licence The people who work here asked me to scan and refuse to scan it for me. I tried multiple time to use the printer and spent first 3 $ without getting job done and wasted 10 papers then asked for help and the worker came and couldn't do it after trying 4 times and finally did it after spending another 3 $ from my card a d 6 papers. Never in officework again

The quality of printing is good. However, there is never enough staff at the printing area, you’ll be in line for a while, bring a book. When I had issues with an online order, one staff member promised a delivery refund, another staff never said no another day, another staff member had the attitude of an angry teenage girl and told me why it was my fault that my online order wasn’t delivered...

The staff really don't know what to do if you change your request a bit than what they know as a single task. Overall customer service is 0 because I had to waste 2 hours of my time as they prefered not to care about the customer when it comes to do a simple copy-paste task which takes 15 seconds of her and I did the same task in another branch! Very disappointing!

I printed a single sheet that I needed to sign and scan, but I didn't have a pen with me so I asked a lady at the counter if I can borrow one, she replied that they don't lend pens but I could BUY a $0.50 one. Eh? Why would I buy a pen just for a single signature? Why wouldn't they lend a pen if they lend a stapler at the printers? Not nice.

Would give negative stars if possible. Unprofessional and unethical customer service. Staff lied that their machine was faulty, sent me to another branch. I got the exact same response before another staff member jumped in and said that they couldn't take photos because of Coronavirus. Could've at least put that information on your website.

Good selection, easy parking and access, but staff seemed poorly trained and indifferent. Went here to buy a Kindle Paperwhite. Staff seemed to largely school-leavers and weren't sure of location of items or how to deal professionally with customers. Having said that, prices seemed reasonable and access and parking are very easy here.

I went to get an item that I was told they had at a good price. There was no help from the staff. Two different staff members pointed me in two different locations. When I found the item in question and tried to ask a third staff member about it, they had less idea than I did. Staff less than no help at all. I left with out any thing.

We love the size of the Officeworks at Parafield and always seem to come out with more than we intend to buy. They have such a wide range of useful and unique things. The kids range of toys and games is good and the prices reasonable. It’s a great places to find unique presents also with different kits of things to do and games etc.

I went to Office Works Parafield to get a poster printed. I am not very tech savvy and the lass behind the counter was extremely helpful and polite at the same time. I ended up with a terrific poster for what I needed and the price was very cheap. While paper is not expensive her time was. Thank you Office Works Parafield

Almost impossible to get any help from staff at this store and when you can finally get someone they can't be bothered to actually help with simple requests. Guy clearly avoided me so he didn't have to help. Even though I spent $1600 on new iPhone no-one wanted to serve me or help with which chargers, accessories etc.

A big shout out to Maddy at the printing section at Parafield Gardens Officeworks. Thank you for the fantastic customer service this morning. I muddled up my Avery template and forgot my email password, she was ever so patient. Then we couldn't save the file as a pdf and had to start all over again

Great variety of products, friendly staff, good location, plenty of parking outside. Cannot complain about this store. Unlike some competitors, Officeworks do Afterpay/Zip-Pay. I found this convenient as I bought a speaker from here on Afterpay. I would definitely recommend this store to others

Just don't get why taking out a print out needs to be such a hard task. I am relatively young and found taking some printouts from here to be such a cumbersome process. Can't imagine how your elderly customers manage through it. I am buying a printer to avoid coming here for print outs again.

I went to office works Parafield and there was two girls behind the counter finishing there conversation before serving me. How rude! Also I asked how much to scan some paperwork and she said 0.40c per double side. This is a absolutely not right. I won’t be returning to this place again.

Love it! It's new so it's not packed with customers like the other stores, so far. I love that I can get immediate staff attention and they'll show you where to find items you want. Parking is plentiful and easy even for disabled access. This is now my local and prefered store.

Do not recommend the online service, delivery day is always incorrect, they claim to have your parcel delivered through by 5pm and if you do get lucky you'll have your parcel at 4:58 or the next couple of days. It's inefficient and they never answer the phone nor reply online.

Poor customer service. The staff is very rude and don't offer to help customers if anyone has difficulty in handling self serve kiosks. This is one of the worst experiences I have across all Officeworks stores in Adelaide. Won't recommend this store to anyone.

Gaby was a great help. I come in for some urgent booklets printing. It was a busy night with very limited staff. Gaby ensures I have all my questions answered and organised my booklets to be printed and collected. Couldn't be happier with her services.

They buy cheap electronics and sell them for an enormous markup. If money is no object and you need something immediately it might be fine. But ordering online is going to save you hundreds or even thousands

No passport photos after 7pm but they close at 9pm. I find that to be very unfair especially if you are working full-time and you can't get time to have it done before 7pm.

Huge new building, great range, good prices. Service was good and parking is usually easy to find. Not a very busy location so you don't have to fight crowds.

Worst printing machines in this store. Always has connections issues. Faulty printers and shortage of staff in printing area. Will never come back again.

Startlingly incompetent staff! It would be funny, but it's more embarrassing. Don't go there to buy anything electrical. They have nice textas, though.
