I had a terrible experience with this company. In my opinion I was misled about the costs involved in some work. Although the portion of work that was completed was done satisfactorily, not all of the jobs on the original agreement were completed. The technician became irate when I pointed out that the job was left unfinished. Although the technician agreed that the job was covered by the original agreement, he also refused to commit to finishing the work until the owner told him to do so. The owner was unreachable by phone and did not say anything until the worker had left, at which point he asked for more money than what was agreed upon. This dynamic left me feeling exploited. When I tried escalating to the owner, he was initially very polite and helpful, but these were just stall tactics - he said kind words, promised to resolve the situation, but did nothing. After about seven weeks had passed with no work or progress or resolution, I redoubled my efforts to get a resolution. The owner was very easily triggered when I showed him that the original agreement covered the work, and he became vulgar. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. In summary: the company and its employees are extremely unprofessional. Both the owner and technician were very unprofessional and quick to anger. Both acted as if their honour, pride and egos were personally under threat because I was unwilling to pay more than the quoted price. If you have no dispute with the company and everything goes well, then you might have a good experience. So far, there is no fault with the electrical workmanship. But if you have any problems or disputes, you will be left with no recourse or service - just a rude man screaming at you, demanding more money. I would recommend finding a different provider.

My business office recently took a turn for the worst when the previous security system in place stopped working. After having multiple issues with the previous company and their work we scoped out Ontime electric. Sean was who we dealt with. He was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. He came to fix our security system but while he was there we took advantage of the timing and asked him to look at a few different minor electrical issues and he was nice enough to patch them up at no additional cost. I would highly recommend Ontime. We have always went with bigger companies but do yourself a favour and get these local guys instead. They actually care about their work and don’t just wanna make their 9-5 and get home. Thanks Sean!

After purchasing a new home, I arranged for Ontime Electric to join us for a home visit so that they could do an assessment on the house's wiring. When I checked in with the electrician two hours before the appointment he told me he wasn't coming. He was at another job and couldn't leave and didn't have another electrician who was equipped to do the assessment we needed. The entire reason for our visit was for this assessment. If I hadn't have checked, I'm confident they would have just not shown up and wouldn't have even let us know. One of the most unprofessional experiences I have had.

We called on a Friday afternoon. The web site said there were electricians available. I called and was told they couldn’t come that day but could come the next, on Saturday. We arranged for someone to wait but got a text that they could not come because of 2 emergencies that came up. We were told that they would come the next day. I texted repeatedly and phoned but never heard from them. I usually don’t complain about things like this but had to wait a few extra days to get someone else to come. Definitely not same day as advertised

My wired smoke alarm started chirping at midnight indicating its battery life had expired. I had replaced another one myself before and had a replacement on hand for this one but I didn't want want to fool around with it myself as one wire was loose. I called Ontime Electric and he arrived within an hour and wouldn't charge me the full quoted price as it was such a quick and easy fix for him. A 6-star rating in my opinion!

Called multiple times spoke with a gentleman twice who told me to fill out the form online with the pricing we spoke of to install a ceiling fan. I did as asked only to never be contacted. If I have to chase a place of business around to give them business it’s unprofessional and obviously not worth it. Still sitting with this fan on the floor now for almost a week…. Time to find a reliable place to do the job!

Sean and his crew showed up on time, were very courteous and did a significant amount of work in an efficient manner at a fair price. Sean worked hard to make sure I was happy and followed through during every step in the process from showing up when promised to give an estimate through scheduling all the final inspections. I highly recommend this business if you want the job done right at a fair price.

As a contractor I hired Sean to repair a backsplash plug for a client in the east end. He was incredibly easy to book, had great availability, communication and a very fair price. He took the time to make sure the job was done right, and I was THRILLED with the result. I will be going back to On Time Electric for their quality and dependability in the future. Disappointing experience. Left multiple emails and messages to schedule some basic electrical work. Received sporadic responses from someone to do the work, and then experienced multiple delays and no shows without explanation. Never had a chance to evaluate the work, and went with a more reliable electrician service. Serous lack of professionalism.

Sean was always in constant communication. Him and his crew worked very efficiently and at a very reasonable price. What was great was that he answered all my questions and provided me with helpful advice. He also made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process of powering up my basement. I highly recommend him for your electrical work.

Sean and Brendon were extremely professional and helpful during my kitchen renovation project. They ran and installed all new wiring for my kitchen appliances and lights, installed under cabinet lighting, installed recessed lighting in my kitchen and dining room, and an exterior light and plug. Needless to say, this was a multiple day project.

Shawn helped me the first time when my nest doorbell camera had issues connecting to chime and explained the problem. When I called again to ask for additional service, I never heard back from him. I called 2x and messaged. I hope all is ok with him... but I find it unprofessional not to answer previous customer call.

Very professional and courteous. Eric was the first to respond to my request for service through google request, and he immediately got me on his schedule. He and his assistant were timely and efficient. Would definitely use them again and recommend them!

They did not complete the job. He's always late and then when you want an honest reason why its always some big story ( lie) I paid him and then realized the job was not done and now he doesn't respond to my call or text. I would NOT RECOMMEND them
