Love the workout, but really disappointed in the tactics used to lure people in with the most recent June special. Was told one month free and then ten dollars off for the next month. The text I received did not mention that I would have to fully pay for a heart monitor that they use for the course in order to receive the promotion. Pulled up to the studio very confused with the front desk associate who mentioned this last minute before the class. I also asked if there was an additional fee for the payment plan or I would pay outright and upfront, the associate stated no, but it looks like each transaction is taxed and Ill end paying more which is what I wanted to avoid and why I asked first. I am Annoyed, but I will be enjoying and using my membership to the fullest. Just remember with anything, always ask additional questions (call) before wasting your time and review that receipt before you leave. I hate business practices that withhold information or inaccurately display fees in conversation. If the workout is elite then these shady practices aren't necessary. Additional: Called today to move my morning class to the 7 PM afternoon class, arrived on site to be told rudely by the front desk that class was canceled we alerted everyone but you. I got a mouthy uncaring disrespectful tone while I wasted yet more of my time arriving for a work out to find out not via email not via the application and not via text that everyone else received information that the class was canceled but they didn’t bother to tell me when I asked to just cancel after all of this because clearly I’m not wanted here she goes into saying there’s some contractual agreement well I didn’t agree to be miss treated I didn’t agree to be ignored I didn’t agree to waste my gas in time so I would love for this to end this is a horrible location full of ignorant employees. Spend your money elsewhere I’m sure you’ll have a much better experience.

I visited this location while in Atlanta this past weekend. I worked out at 8:15 am on Sunday and Draya was my instructor for a 3G class. It was a lot of switching every 6 mins throughout the class but it was a wonderful strength day workout! Upon entering I was greeted by two friendly sales associates who offered to show me around and let me know where things were located in their studio. Our class started promptly at 8:15 and Draya did a great job identifying people who had never been in her class before as well as making sure she knew who was on bike/strider. Side note— I have had bad experiences in the past where instructors don’t ask and even with the new cards they hand out, I haven’t been able to get the bike (I have severe plantar fasciitis so I need it!). Music is important to me and Draya did a fantastic job with keeping the music upbeat throughout the whole class. I also enjoyed how Draya encouraged individuals and didn’t shy away from making corrections with form and exercises on the weight floor when needed. Literally the only thing I would say that could use improvement is the temperature. I wish it had been a little cooler in there but hey, I came to sweat. I loved Draya’s class and didn’t feel rushed to leave the second class ended. Draya was a great coach and I 1000% recommend her. I would definitely come back to this location if I visit again. If I lived here I would join this location.

I can’t speak more highly of Orangetheory, & more importantly, this gym. In barely 10 months, I’m running faster on the treadmill, lifting heavier weights, & feel better at almost 30 years old than I have in a long time. I used to be so anxious to go to a gym but everyone here is so friendly & sweet I almost felt dumb for even being so nervous to just go. Coach Josh, Georgia, & Meghan always remember your name & push you in just the right amount of way. Also, can’t forget coach Dani’s explicit lyric Fridays at 5:45p are THE best! I earned more points & burned more cals in just that class alone. I started this gym due to stress of my job & getting in shape for my wedding & I’ve never had so many compliments on how amazing I looked for my wedding (& this was only 4 months in) & now I can manage the stress so much more easily & even crave to go to OTF to help. For the first time in my life, I’m not ashamed to wear a bikini & used to envy those that wore just sports bras & leggings to the gym but now I’m one of them. I’ve never had more self confidence probly in my entire life. Joining OTF is the best thing I’ve ever done & only wish I had done so sooner.

The studio is great. The trainers are out of this world awesome. Stays and the crew are far and away the most awesome and committed trainers ever! The policies? Terrible. We are moving out of the state and want to discontinue the membership. Can we do it in the app? Of course not!! Can we do it on the phone? Of course not! Why? “Because it’s easier if you come in to the studio to do it.” Easier for whom? Certainly not the customer. I’m driving across country now to our new home. Easier for orange theory. So I’m required to fill out a paper document so that I can stop a subscription. Oh and I have to pay an additional 30 days even though there is no orange theory where I am going to. Ethical to create barriers to discontinuing a subscription and then creating more barriers before it ends? Ethical business practice? You all must decide. In a state where people fight for freedom of choice even when it spreads disease is it a surprise that I don’t have the freedom to easily discontinue a credit card payment? Hmm. Addendum: The manager who is no longer there called while I was on a cross country trip and made this right. Thanks!

After being an Orange Theory member for the last few years, I will not be returning after awful customer service at this gym. I called to cancel my membership on December 27th. After checking my bank statement on April 7th, I saw where I was still being charged monthly. When I called the studio they said where they saw I called but did not see the email I was told to send requesting to cancel my membership (which I sent) and that they would have a manager call me to refund the charges. I never received a call from the manager but received an email days letter telling me he would not refund the charges because he could not find the email. And that I also needed to fill out a cancellation form which I was never sent and was never mentioned when calling the studio to cancel. In the past when have canceled or paused my membership when I wouldn't be able to use my membership I never received such awful service. It's clear that use sketchy tactics when you want to cancel so that they can continue to charge you. I would not recommend this studio.

I’ve now been to over 50 studios and this newly renovated studio is certainly one of the best. Friendly people on staff and in the class and a great new modern space. One of the things I like best is how they can modify the workout and I can ways get a workout in almost anywhere I may be traveling. Today was an endurance day loaded with weighted lunges. For me, this is the only set of exercises my knees will not let me do. It’s my first class here and I’m asking a coach I’ve never met before what I can do instead. Coach Draya quickly found a way to work the same muscle groups and protect my knees at the same time. I get a great workout while traveling and don’t risk any further injury. As I close in on my 500th workout, I cannot recommend OTF to you with any higher level of praise. Seriously, all you have to do is show up. if you show up, you will see and feel the results even with really bad knees.

  • Glamgurl D

Been a member a year and I love OTF. No matter your activity level the coaches will never make you feel like you don't belong. They always offer variations of an exercise if you need an alternative. You workout at your own pace so there's no need to feel like you gotta compete with the person next to you. Also my fellow OTF'ers are always helping someone if needed and everyone always have an upbeat attitude. The front desk staff is great and the manager Clarke is the sweetest most helpful person who can answer any question/concern you may have. I signed up at another location..but one day took a class at Buckhead location and I have not been back to my home studio..11 months and counting at Buckhead studio!! Give it a try..it will change your fitness level for sure.

  • Glenda Zorin

Great workout and courteous staff. This OT is closest to me, and I love this workout and the fact that it’s the only group class in the metro area at 5am. Granted, they took the 5am class away twice a week, but they notified me personally before doing so and gave me the option of another studio that will offer 5am Mondays and Wednesdays. The other studio is only 2 miles from Buckhead but at 4:45am, 2 miles is like a thousand. OT also offers some of the latest times for group fitness classes during the week! That’s great for those of us that workout early in the morning or late in the evening. I love the explicit lyrics class on Fridays with Dani. Buckhead has been my go-to for Orange Theory since they opened and I don’t plan on that changing anytime soon.

  • Athena Little

Love this location. Plenty of parking. I go at lunch time during the week so I usually get Josh and Meghan as my coaches. They are very motivating, make it a point to know everyone's name in the class, and quick to correct my form on the weight floor so I'm always getting the most out of my workouts. I've had other coaches as well, Dani, Georgia, Parker, and more. They are all so great and bring me different weights depending on if they see me struggling or think I need more of a challenge. The girls (and Chase) at the front desk are very sweet and welcoming as well, especially Bree and Brooke! I'm not a huge fitness person, but they all help to make it so much easier to get me in there!

  • Maddie Neu

First of all - love orange theory and the workouts! For this particular one, I came here 4 times when I was visiting for thanksgiving. The gym was much more spacious than my home gym which was nice. Justin was my favorite coach of the classes I took because he really tried to learn our names :) I felt bad I wasn’t coming back for a while! I just have 2 small complaints which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 1. The lockers don’t have locks :/ (my home gym does so I was used to that) 2. They pick for you where you start. I was going with my gf, so I just called ahead the last 2 times to make sure we were next to each other. I guess most people go alone to this location?

  • Zalak Raval

I highly recommend the Orangetheory Buckhead location. Coach Draya and Coach Parker are fantastic! Their workouts are always enjoyable because their energy and enthusiasm is infectious. They are both great motivators, and send shoutouts to new and old OTF members to keep the group performing at their optimal level (plus, the music is always on point!). The studio is clean and the staff is friendly and resourceful. They have taken the necessary precautions to ensure social distancing, sanitizing, and wearing masks during the transitions from rower-treadmill-weight floor during the workouts.

  • Caitlyn A. Burkhardt

Love the workout! It's good to have someone to tell you what to do to really maximize the effectiveness of your workout. This, along with the heart rate monitor (or pods) that "knows" your personal information makes it well worth the rather expensive monthly membership fee. All trainers I've had are great! My only con is that the pods can sometime quit working, and aren't available to everyone. Without them, it's hard to stay motivated throughout the hour. Besides that, I love it and can't wait to see my fitness improve!

  • Alana Lewis

I am marking this solely for the customer service. I called in to schedule a session from out of state. I have worked out at several locations outside of my home studio, never had any issues scheduling. The women I spoke with couldn't find my home studio, told her the number and she told me she had to speak with her boss to see if I could be scheduled. Told me it should be in by COB, I was never scheduled. My home studio is a premium studio, there should have been no issue getting on the roster. Do better

I’ve been an OrangeTheory member for a year and a half and it was one of the best divisions I’ve ever made. The templates are easy to follow and the works are challenging but very flexible. I’ve seen a natural progression since I started just from going consistently. When I moved, I was sad that I would have to go to a new studio but this Buckhead location is phenomenal. The studio always looks great and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Every month there are theme days with the best playlist.

  • Hans Rommel

I was visiting the studio from out of town. It was cute to see a sign at the front desk welcoming me, although my name was misspelled (a 4-letter word). The front desk was ok. Not particularly engaging, e.g.... Welcome, where are you visiting from, etc. (I don't need the small talk, but I come from a similar background, so I know it's essential). The class was great. The floor workout was short of exercises, considering the long time block allocated to it. Music selection was alright.

  • Greg Mauk

I love OTF, huge fan...the workout is great, it is unique each day and is designed by fitness professionals who know what they are doing...because I do not! ;) What makes the workout great though, is the people...from the moment you walk in and are greeted by familiar faces at the front desk, to the amazing coaches who motivate and encourage you, while making it fun and energetic, but what I really enjoy is the camaraderie with my fellow OTF'ers!

  • Lisa Howard

I love that it challenges me! I am getting back into fitness and I can see that the instructors offer training for all levels. I really like that I feel accomplished and enjoy seeing others who may be more strong, or are able to run faster/longer than me. It gives me a goal to work towards. Everyone is friendly and I feel like no one is judging me. OTF is never boring and I burn so many more calories in 60 minutes than other activities.

  • Brittany Watson

I have been struggling to find a workout program that I would actually stick to. This fitness studio is it! The classes are fun and exciting but they are no joke when it comes to getting in a full body workout. I have visited two separate studios and the staff has always been warm and inviting. The membership fee is a little pricey but I am hoping that will go down as this franchise is exploding with new members.

  • Rick Thornton

Taylor, Draya, and Mike are super supportive and you will burn a ton of calories. This is one of the newest facilities they have and it is nice and wide open in there so you have plenty of room to workout without being cramped. Good music too so you can’t hear other people (or yourself) grunting and panting! I personally love it here and I’m in such a good mood when I leave.

  • Dan Oltmann

Absolutely nothing to complain about with this OTF. Started in Jan 2020 and have been going on and off for the last 2 years. Staff is friendly and treats you like no time has passed. Coach turnover can be high-ish, but that’s more a testament to the quality of the coaches that come through - there hasn’t been a coach I didn’t like in my ~75 classes I have attended.

  • Jon Skinner

I’ve been an Orangetheory member for just over two years now and I’ve been to many different studios across various states. Coach Tayler at OTF Buckhead is by far the best coach I’ve had the pleasure of taking. She is extremely knowledgeable of her craft and has an innate ability to motivate you so you can get everything out of your workout.

  • Avani Patel

Been going to this location for 16 months...great energy, amazing coaches, and the new studio rocks!!! It’s a popular location so always good to book classes in advance. After joining, I convinced 4 people to try (other locations) and now they’re hooked so trust me orangetheory is AMAZING! …

  • Cheryl C. Faerber

I am 57 years young and this is the best workout I have ever done. Orange Theory is your own personal trainer in a group class. Trust me, it is the best hour of your day! Anyone can do it... speed walk, jog or run. I would never get this caliber workout in an hour on my own at the gym. I’m hooked.

  • Basie Wilson

I'm so appreciative of the OT staff here. Never once have I felt out of place or judged at OT. Even on the hard workouts, the trainers are great about making you feel comfortable participating at your own pace. Every 1-hour workouts leaves me feeling [and looking] like it was worth it!

  • Steve Schildwachter

So glad there's a great OTF studio in Buckhead because I travel there for business. Facility is in terrific shape, coach was excellent and the staff very welcoming to an out-of-town guest. I've worked out at OTFs all around the country and can say this is one I'll gladly visit again.

  • Kai

10/10!! First off they give you a warm welcome with tons of Information. The trainer and front manager were very nice. The class was challenging yet so much fun. I already have class pass so I didn’t get the membership but I will be back for single classes. I highly recommend!

  • Shellie Christman

Love the staff and coaches! They are very down to earth, so friendly, and know everyone’s name. Set class times work best for me and the workout changes everyday so it doesn’t get boring. I like the Lift classes (weights only) the most. It works for all fitness levels too.

  • Candice Sessa

Coaches are great! They explain the movements, keep you motivated, and always encourage you to do your BEST. They push you, without pushing past your limits (which encourages injuries). Love Tayler, Draya, Mike, and my newest favorite Chantelle. Thanks for being great!!!

  • Michalla Nolan

Absolute worst OTF studio I have been to. Incompetent staff, rude and unable to provide accurate information. Unable to book classes unless you plan too weeks out and coaches are sub par. The technology is spotty and treadmills frequently stop working.

  • Sundeep Rama

This studio is so spacious and has the best trainers, hands down! Meghan, Draya, Steven, Chase and Parker are amazing, they give your workout a personal touch. You're losing out working out anywhere else! OTF life!

  • Delali Rowland

I love everything about OTF Buckhead. Great Coaches, Friendly atmosphere & especially Great & Very Attentive studio Manager Chase. Been with OTF since 2015 & not planning to leave. Thank you to all the Coaches.❤️

  • Madelyne Paulk

The OT Buckhead office is awesome! The team is incredibly friendly and supportive. The facilities are always clean and the workout challenges are engaging and fun. Would highly recommend joining here.

  • Sally Ha

Been loving all of my workouts at Orangetheory! The Buckhead location is spacious with ample parking and the instructors are awesome. They motivate and push you to work hard but are also so nice.

  • Siloam Gray

All the coaches are super nice and keep me motivated throughout my workout. Even the staff at the front always greets me with a smile. Literally my favorite place to be. Way to go OT Buckhead!

  • Robyn Ware

Fantastic workout, Obi was very motivating and it never got boring. Also, made me realize that I haven't been pushing myself hard enough in my workouts. I'll definitely be signing up.

  • Allisyn Rhimes

Great workout! Very organized! Looking forward to making OTF part of my daily routine apart from my rest days. Thank you Brooke and Megan for such a warm welcome!

  • Hannah Sanders

The best OTF studio in Atl!! The staff and coaches are always so welcoming and awesome. I actually enjoy running now thanks to this class. Go here!!!
