I don't often use an agent as on line research is pretty efficient but I had not been to this part of Morocco before and wanted everything to go smoothly as it was our anniversary. They listened to what we wanted and designed a trip that reflected what we were after. Local transfers were very efficient. Turned up on time with clean vehicles even checking the day before when there was a change in timings. Accommodation was as advertised and the only surprises were good ones. I did not price this against independent travel but it seemed about right and certainly we benefitted from their experience. In short we had a great time. Would I change anything? Maybe some in country represtation might have been a plus but the places we stayed were all so helpful that this would be marginal. Probably only useful if things went wrong.

This is our second holiday using Original Travel. Our first was a pretty complicated holiday in South America taking in Peru, the Amazon, the Galápagos Islands and Ecuador. All the arrangements worked like clockwork and OT’s in-country agents were excellent. Thank you Louisa and Saskia for faultless arrangements. We are just back from our second holiday with OT which was to the Maldives. Again I cannot speak too highly of OT. Louisa’s local knowledge of the resorts meant that she was able to recommend just the one which she knew would suit us. She also managed to negotiate some valuable discounts on flights and accommodation. Alex followed up with us to ensure all the detailed arrangement worked and the result was an outstanding two weeks. Amelia's small group trip to Ethiopia was amazing. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned and executed. We always had a lot to do, but never too much to do. The hotels and restaurants were "of the country" and each one had it's own magical details. Our on the ground guide was superb. Not only was he well informed and charming, but he constantly pulled value added experiences out of thin air. From crashing a wedding, to visiting a family in their tiny village, unannounced, to being in the Simian mountains to see baboons, or Lake Tana to see the hippos at the perfect moment for maximum exposure, these value added details were an important part of the trip's narrative. Original Travel put together our trip to Romania. We did get booked and they got us to the places we wanted to go. Outside of that, their attention to detail was non-existent., despite their company motto. They could not seem to read the itinerary they created themselves, sending drivers to pick us up from hotels we were not at, telling drivers to deliver us to hotels we were not booked at and changing the time of pick-up to the airport on the last morning. Never one apology. And no one ever contacted us after the trip to hear what we thought. I guess they knew. These people are quite incompetent.

Terrific company. Traditionally always plan my own holidays but decided to use Original for my recent trip to Egypt. They took the time to get to know what I was interested in, my budget etc and customise the experience accordingly. As a result had the holiday of a lifetime where I felt safe, secure and relaxed throughout due to the support they provide you with. It’s such a relief knowing that there’s always someone at the end of the phone who can help if something’s gone awry. Would definitely use again - particularly if travelling outside of my usual comfort zone.

I have used OT almost since the inception of the firm and have travelled numerous times with their help on both long and short haul trips. I have always dealt with people who have visited the regions and hotels that we have stayed at, so they are able to talk about them authoritatively during planning, and their ground handlers are always competent and efficient. I find OT a friendly, knowledgeable and easy company to deal with, and have recommended them to demanding travelers on numerous occasions.

Knowledgable, organised, and enthusiastic; it was a huge pleasure planning our holiday with Original Travel and the holiday itself was perfectly tailored to suit 5 picky family members. Egypt and Jordan. Spectacular! We felt that we were treated so special. We were well cared for; the minders, guides and drivers were friendly, helpful, entertaining. Customs and the many luggage scanning detours were a breeze to navigate with their help. The itinerary was perfect, inclusive of all that first time visitors would want to see and the accommodations were heavenly. This was a big bucket list item for us and it was done in style. We had a stunning safari and holiday thanks to the team at Original Travel. The entire trip went perfectly and it felt like everyone in Tanzania was working together to make our experience perfect, from the wonderful tours of Stone Town, to the never-to-be-forgotten stay at the Siwandu in Selous (the best safari I've ever been too, bar none) and the lush Fundu resort at the tail-end of our trip. A great trip, all thanks to OT and the wonderful people of Tanzania!

Good trip! We like surface transportation much better than air travel even if it means 6 hours vs 1.5 hours by air. Chileans very nice people, weather was great, absolutely no complaints with Original Travel, will use them in the future.
