"So, after waiting for about an hour to join the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) from Ikorodu to oshodi, in the air conditioned, but overloaded bus, we got to this terminal three (3) situated around the bridge at oshodi, it is a major connecting point for Commuters within Lagos, tickets are sold here, with different stands for different routes"
Okay. As you might have known, this is a strategic bus terminal in Lagos state. If you’re here, you can get bus service to any part of Lagos here. They don’t accept cash here. You will need a card called “cowry”. You can also use this for normal yellow “danfo” bus too (they are in the pilot phase). When you’re recharging your cowry card, beware of those attendant. They might want to defraud you. That’s how I asked them to load 600naira on my card and they loaded 500. Always confirm the amount. This is Lagos. Open your eyes. You can also get food at the terminal too. If you’re going to places like Ajah and Ikorodu, better enter BRT and collect AC for your head while you’re stuck in Lagos traffic. Ehen. Some of the buses have charging ports too. Another cool thing is that, you can now customize your card for a small fee of 100naira. Itesiwaju Eko loje wa logun
Without a doubt, Oshodi Terminal 3 and the entire Interchange is such a brilliant concept to have been executed. You never really know how much effort went into this piece of marvel not until you decide to visit for the sake of touring the structure. It is only Terminal 3 that is operational for now, I can't wait to see how this place will evolve by the time Terminals 1 & 2 are commissioned. The LASG and the project owners have done such a fantastic job, to say the least. The structure has been built to become the epicenter of transportation in Lagos, through which you can get to virtually get to all of Lagos (via Terminals 2 & 3) and travel out of state (via Terminal 1). Largely steel works done but there is still so much room for massive improvements. I guess this was done as proof of concept, to show capacity for such an audacious project.
So Yesterday we were there to Map the Terminal and it was Awesome. First Of the Place looks so Un-Nigerian , loads of signs everywhere (Which is the right thing just that we are almost used to the wrong things ) The New BRT Buses loads here to -TBS -Obalende -Maryland -Ajah (Don't run on Sundays yet) -Berger -Ikorodu I hear there are going to be shops and the likes here eventually as the place keeps buzzing. Heard that Smaller Buses will be loading on the First Floor too. All in All it is a beauty to Behold and well maintained as it is in the hands of Private Firms (Hopefully this is made permanent and they find a way of making their own money to maintain the facility) Most importantly is the Wheelchair Accessibility which I must confess was really brought to bear in the construction....I say kudos to them ♿♿
It's a clean work of art and an architectural masterpiece! The terminals have similar structure and design. At the moment, only terminal 3 is operational. It features a passenger loading Bay at the base level, with 3 other levels up the building. The buses are equipped with standard facilities including USB charging ports and wheelchair ramp at the entry and exit doors. The entrance to the terminal itself has a separate dedicated wheelchair ramp. Ticketing booths are quick and easy to go through. There's equally a customer service section right after you go through the main door in case of enquiries. Restroom facility is paid for: 100 Naira per use. There is no parking space for private vehicles. It's better to go with a taxi. The flooring could be better. I noticed a lot of dust and improperly-tarred areas.
So, after waiting for about an hour to join the Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) from Ikorodu to oshodi, in the air conditioned, but overloaded bus, we got to this terminal three (3) situated around the bridge at oshodi, it is a major connecting point for Commuters within Lagos, tickets are sold here, with different stands for different routes. Buying tickets from this terminal is faster, boarding a bus here is also faster, and there is more organised waiting areas at terminal 3. The environment is generally wheelchair accessible and all the current line up of buses have facilities for people with special needs. There are toilets, which is NOT FREE OF CHARGE to use.
The terminal is beautiful and well organized with standard amenities and an appealing environment . . . Ticketing booths and waiting area are nice with quality service experience you're gonna get from every personnel from the securities to the ticketing agents . . . At the boarding side it's mostly dark at noon and no clear light buh there's availablity of chairs to seat for the commuters there at all time . . . Cool place and you'll surely get a bus at all time less regarding the rushing of commuters
A great transport infrastructure with the propensity of changing the face of public transportation in Oshodi and it's environment. Considering Nigerian standard, this is first of its kind. Going forward, hopefully, this kind of public utility would be replicated and become ubiquitous and well-spread round the country. Looking at our maintenance antecedent, One can wish this facility would be maintained differently and serve as a maintenance-model for future infrastructure.
Really love the organisation with respect to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Before entering the terminal, you have to wash your hands, then your temperature will be checked. Then when I finally joined the queue, I saw yellow lines that shows where you have to stay on the queue - they were equally separated. There were personels on ground that keep moving like a pendulum making sure commuters adhere to the measures that has been put in place. But the queue was ...
Very well laid out commercial bus park. Building is great and organised. Terminal 3 is for people heading to mile 2/festac, airport road, bariga, tincan, orile, apapa, ejigbo, ajegunle, berger, adeniji, eko hotel, ilupeju, lekki/ jakande/ ajah, costain, cms/obalende, ikorodu. As at this moment, not all the routes are being embarked on. This is a good idea and helps solve the rough Lagos transport system.
One of the new busses at oshodi terminal heading to oyingbo. I found it comfortable. This one also has charging points but on the side. The downside I experienced was the fact that the driver increases their choice of music to the maximum without considering the political and religious views of the passengers. Asides that, the air conditioning was working perfectly fine.
The best bus terminal in Lagos for BRT; it is beautiful, large and covered to protect from bad whether. There is a large sitting waiting area with ticket boot within the structure. Waiting time is good. Their are numbers of mobile toilet there(Don't expect much from it). Buses here shuttle mainly Berger... on the mainland and Leventis, CMS, TBS, Obalende on the Island.
This is an international standard bus station. Well organized and the architecture is great. Large waiting room, over ground bus parks and and way. High cable bridge connecting all three stations. The buses are fully air-conditioned and with fast USB charging pots on all seats. In a nutshell the facility here at Oshodi is great and hope it will be well maintained
It was N E A T. I walked through the terminal just to experience the feel and what strikes me most was the neatness adhered to at Oshodi Terminal 3. There're multiple entry and exit points, vises are so positioned in such a way that it manages the commuters well. For a 2/3 storey bus station, it's well planned. And the fares are reasonably priced
This facility is not put to optimum use and its not properly maintained. For you to travel from this terminal using BRT buses, you must get a lagos commuters card (cowrie card) which costs 400, you can then top up your desired amount that will enable you board a bus. You can as well customise your card in your name for a token of N100.
This is were you get the blue buses going to Ikorodu and park for Ikorodu. Well organized place but can be rowdy when crowd is much but buses always available. There are stands to get snacks and minerals for refreshments. Boots for card top up is separate and far from loading points make the place less rowdy. The experience is good.
What a piece of architecture. Well designed for ease of commuting. The terminal has helpdesk, ticketing counter, waiting area, display board, restroom and wheelchair access. It's a link terminal to other parts of Lagos. Buses here are wheelchair accessible. Highly secured facility. #wheelchair #restroom #ticket #oshodi
What do you know? It's a state of the art infrastructure in the transport hub of Lagos. The government did a good job in organizing this place. The structures are legit and it all looks like The States. We hope to see an efficient management that it won't dilapidated in time... An achievement this place is in Nigeria
This bus terminal at oshodi is the place to be whenever you want to travel to any part of the country, has large packing space to park your cars, ticket booth where you pay for your ticket, so far the bus terminal is serving it's purpose and can do better though in terms of security at the terminal
Good facilities, I just home they maintain it so that it does not dilapidate in a short time. They also need to upgrade their services, I got a ticket for ikorodu ride, bus did not come for more than one hour, I was informed that I could not get refund nor use the ticket another day.
This is easily the best and most organised terminal of the 3 terminals Recently, the number of busses going towards Ikorodu seem to have increased so the queues to enter the busses are no longer as long as they used to be, even when the queue seems long, it moves really fast.
A very beautiful terminal, international standard. Nice physical appeal with accessible entrance too. Tidy, secure and well ventilated. There are seats for relaxing while waiting for bus. The ticketing booth also is a nice concept, makes one feel as though at the airport.
Yet to be fully completed, but it is already working and working fine. Makes Oshodi decent and beautiful. Nigerian factor still has it way but this is better than most terminal. Definitely, there are much room for improvement especially with customer care service.
Well constructed, spacious and neat... I like the fact that there's a sitting area where you could sit and patiently wait for the bus to arrive.... Though ikorodu queue can be very annoying and frustrating... Something should be done about it please!
I like the fact that buses are ready to convey one to their respective destinations within the range of their(drivers) work time, and also the coordination there in terms of queue while entering the bus, or waiting for your bus etc. I love it
Great Customer Service! Not bad for a coach station. Prompt response at the ticketing booth. The staffs were helpful.. The toilet was clean and well kept. However, long waiting time for bus to ikorodu on 19/7/2021 (1h2mins wait) .
It would be a wonderful experience when fully working, it made my trip to ajah less of a hassle and enjoyable. You can get buses to obalende, ajah, ikorodu and CMS from there though other routes will be available soon too.
The services of the BRT here is very poor. You queue for so long before buses arrive. There's poor management as regards to time of arrival and departure. No proper organization. The services needs ti be improved.
Although this terminal is still under construction, things are falling into place with ready staff on standby to help direct people and activities appropriately. Kudos to the government for this innovation.
A good place. Staff just need to be organized and management need to instill discipline in drivers as they now decide where if they want to work or not even when many people are on queue waiting.
Well built to its best standard. Comfortable seats available when buses aren't available and the officials are quite dutiful and friendly. The adjoining roads just needs to be take care of...
Oshodi Terminal 3 is a new transport hub in the city of Lagos, it's currently been managed by Lagos bus services limited. (LBSL) operating routes are Oshodi - Berger, Oshodi - CMS/Obalande.
You can get buses to ikorodu, obalende, Lekki, Aja, fadeyi, yaba and oyingbo.. shops are springing up in the terminal now, u can get food, drink and also relax while u wait for bus.
Though still under construction, the layout is spacious and can accommodate the teeming mass of people transversing the city. There's also free Wi-Fi - though you need to register.
Oshodi terminal 3 is one of the best motor terminal in West Africa where you can board a bus going to where you are going to , Lagos State make it best among others terminal.
No bus to Ajah, no bus to New Garage, Ikorodu/Sabo is not even going to Sabo. Terminal 2 is only going to IKEJA, Agege, Abule Egba, even with all the names listed there
It's one of the pedestrian bridges linking to the brt terminal 3 which contains buses going to the island. I must commend the man who keeps the bridge Clean.
Improved the conditions of public transport commuters in Lagos State, and with the integration of the Red Line rail things are expected to get better.
These are newly built terminals for busses. It is a major hub for bus interchange in Lagos state. It has also reduced criminal activities in the area
Oshodi BRT tickets point. Public busses owned and managed by Lagos state government, very interesting means of transportation for Lagosian comuters
Very clean and organized now. Thanks to the leadership of the State. One can get transport to every part of the State and other Western States.
This terminal is big and cater for public transport needs of citizens. It's fairly organized but bottleneck still spring up from time to time.
On Tue Oct 6th, 2020 was wrongly billed 600NGN for BRT Bus fare from Oshodi to Iyanapaja Expr. Ended up having -100NGN Acc Bal
It's a fully secured and comfortable bus terminal with comfortable seat and well managed bus transition through lagos...
Looks poorly managed. Buses are poorly maintained. There's always an endless queue as there are few operational buses
One of the best pieces of architecture in Lagos. Great signs and directions to show you around but in a bad location
Quite organized and neat to my surprise. I didn't think we could do such in this country. I'm very pleased ❣️
Here you can get bus going to Lagos Island, obalende, oyingbo, TBS etc and you can also get begga
The bridge is nicely designed and constructed, but would love it if it could be put to use...
You get BRT buses to Ikorodu, Berger and places on the Island like TBS, CMS, Ajah & Obalende
Great.. Big space. But most times the queues are long especially for those going to Ikorodu.
There is a mini restaurant in there, they have the best Jollof rice in all of Lagos state
An international standard terminal where you can easily get bus to any location with ease
It's was very condusive and comfortable, and the journey inside the bus is in comparable
A spacious and well built terminal that will serve its purpose of well maintained.
A good place to be, but much actions needs to be taken towards the issue of touts.
Very busy part of Lagos... Buses to every destination in Lagos is available here.
Nice place in the night and not safe well.. Because of this hoodlum around …
Still under construction,... with what I'm seeing the out come will be beautiful.
