Seldom I commute via Ossington subway station. Saturday, around 5:47 p.m., was on line 2 going westbound, when suddenly the train stopped at Ossington with the announcement (as Often not clear: - sound - volume - technical...?) "this train is out of service, something...?, this train is out of service". No doubt, TTC improvement is ongoing.
The Presto machine at Ossington and the Delaware exit don't always work, especially with cash. I mentioned this to TTC employees twice and the touch screen still doesn't work. There's often a lot of garbage out in front and the garbage container looks extremely damaged and dirty.
Ossington subway has a western entrance and one on Ossington Av. The buses are accessible, as well as the elevator at the eastern station entrance on Ossington Av.
Touchscreen on the payment terminal extremely unresponsive. Tried for a good 10 minutes to buy a fair before giving up and calling an Uber.
Way of entering the subway was not convenient for bicycle riders. Hard to get out and get in to the station.
Ttc should put barriers in the back, or fare inspectors, everyone walks free...no one monitors!
TTC is usually packed and the TTC drivers are awesome!!!
