13/10/2021 i was unfortunate to have a tree Branch fall cutting power to my home on Grand final Sunday, i called around a number of Level 2 electrician's but being the long weekend i was having no success finding anyone who could carry out the repairs. a mate of mine recommended calling Ben from overhead electrical services. Within the hour Ben was at my property to access the Damage and work out what was needed restore my power. From the start I felt very comfortable with Ben and the price he quoted for the repairs so I gave him the go ahead carry out the works. We needed a level 2 electrician in somewhat of a semi urgent situation (the old fuse on our privately owned power pole had burnt out due to its old age). Ben was recommended to us on a local social media page so I touched base with him and explained our dilemma. Ben was polite, professional, empathetic to our needs and gave us sound advice and a quote over the phone after I’d sent him images of the issue. He even encouraged me to get other quotes! After calling several electrical services, I contacted Ben at Overhead Electrical at 3pm on a Friday afternoon with a power outage. As this was a priority he had someone out before 5pm for a quick fix. Post their assessment the simple power outage was a complete power box restoration and new inlet cable; so a major job! By the following Wednesday the job was done safely and as promised. Ben was professional throughout the process, up front and honest. We lost phased power overnight. No lights, no stove. One quick call to Ben this morning and it was all sorted within a couple of hours. He listened to my explanation, immediately suspected the culprit, finished the job he was on and came directly. Cannot recommend Ben & his crew enough, where do I start? Firstly they're happy to quote & they turn up as promised. No job is too small or to big. Explain things in simple terms as I'm certainly not a sparky or tradie. Ben and the team replaced our main board from the old, small asbestos one and upgraded the cabling to the attachment point to 25mm after a PV solar installation. Professional, friendly and efficient.
