I took a whole lamb in to get it chopped at Panah grocery and there were 2 guys working in the back. One started cutting up the meat and the other one was spoused to bag them for me but I noticed he was putting the bigger pieces inside a bucket and covering it. He stole around 2-3 kgs of meat from me. I literally walked inside their back room and told him what he did was not okay and to keep the meat that he stole from me but not to do it again. I could tell he was so embarrassed because he started shaking and apologizing. Very unprofessional!!

Went to check out this bakery found that the owner had dried old fruits , also saw a van pull up and a man remove meat from a none refrigerated van wirh flies flying out of the van , with the weather being plus 25. This is a health risk if meat isnt refrigerated causing bactria to grow on the meat. Wouldnt recommend buying meat @ this place , i rather eat out of my own bathroom floor.

My favourite afghani shop in Calgary. They have the best afghani bread and fresh meat. Their customer service is excellent. All their products are reasonably priced and excellent quality. I have shopped here for more than 10 years and highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking to buy afghani and Mediterranean food products. Thank you !!

All the dried fruit that this store sells has WORMS in it. Every damn time that I buy dry red berry (zereshk) or green raisen from this store they have whote worm wriggling in it. It is disgusting. I will post photos to Facebook so every body could see how disgusting this store is. Even one store is too much for that sorry place.

I bought roti from this store, it made me direa very badly. The roti looked very old and mebe it was baked with unwashed hand , who knows. No more buying from this store. Also zero customer service.

Found expired items almost 2 months past due date and they need to seriously check the dried fruits the look old. Hopefully on next visit they have some reasonable priced items and good dates.

Careful with these people, they sell old meat. Bought meat twice, the first time I didn't say anything when it was old. Second time I called and told them, they didn't care. Never going back.

My favourite Afghan grocer in Calgary. Many other places have goods that are frankly unaffordable in Calgary. Their naan is great, and I love the sweets they have. I recommend the shirpera.

I love their fresh afghani Naan. I always buy halal meat here and the quality is always good, plus the customer service is excellent.
