UPDATE: The manager of the store on SR13 took over this store and things have dramatically improved! Piss poor service and lazy staff clearly not being supervised. This is truly the opposite of quality and service found at the PDQ on SR13. In our 35 minute visit we found NO ice, NO forks, NO lids for drinks and watched a lazy employee wander back and forth around the restaurant occassionally wiping one side of a table but nothing more. What a bother we were to dare ask him to find us ice, forks and lid drinks. Not to be found I guess in 35 minutes. Then, as we were about to leave after the manager failed to bring us a to-go box, we saw her hand a stack of cup lids...like 200 of them in a plastic sleeve, to a customer who then proceeded to put them in the dispenser. I sh!! you not! The customer then came up to us and offered us lids. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PDQ! And....this keeps getting better...within an hour of posting this review some stranger contacts me claiming to be a representative of PDQ. They want my email or phone # to discuss the problems. Not! I ask her for the name and phone # of the PDQ owner but they can’t give that information out she says. Nice, huh. That’s real corporate responsibility.

I work across the road from this location and I come to this location a lot, and the food’s always good, but this is the second time at this location I ordered my take home dinner 2 honey butter sandwiches, and was inedible I had to toss in in the trash so I went without dinner that evening thank you very much! But getting back to the issue it was old and burnt the chicken was like biting into rubber was horrible! Now this was on Thursday Sep. 14. @ 4pm and was not the same crew I normally see when I go through the drive thru so whom ever was working that day shame on you for passing off those horrible sandwiches! Your lucky I didn’t check it before I headed home cause I would have went inside and given all responsible a piece of my mind and you would have not like what I would have said!!! As for my normal crew great job love you all!

I can give PDQ just an "its okay" because normally thier food is good and quick. They tend to give info about new(ish) products and the employees, well we resonate from the gamer background it's obvious both they and I both have. Regrettably, there have been a few things when visiting that the normal crew isn't there and it's slow and the employees just aren't nice. Nice is a "nice" term, there are a few here that have no personal skills, its just "what can I get for you?" or "what do you want?" I have seen this from multiple places, maybe the employees aren't being taught to give a kind greeting, just a direct and to the point greeting. For the minimum wages, if I owned the franchise I would expect every employee I have a welcoming greeting and make the customer feel welcomed and appreciated for their patronage. It's just this PDQ and really any and every Wendy's in St John's county Florida that seems to have this issue.

I’ve been to PDQ many times before and the food is always amazing and so is the service, but this one was just perfection. The staff was so friendly & patient! I always take a minute to figure out what I want because it’s all so good and I never know what I want & they are always so kind, helpful and again patient. I had to pull out of the drive thru to wait for my food because they were waiting for fresh chicken tenders to come out. I waited maybe 5 minutes and the guy brought our food out and apologized for the wait and even gave us a good pun and a good laugh. This was such a pleasant experience and it was so yummy and fresh! Recommend for sure (especially this location)!

PDQ in my opinion is far better than Chick-fil-A. I've been saying this to my wife for the last few months and I finally got an opportunity to take her there. Reluctantly, she agreed, do you like the waffle fries better because they were Frontier, and the tenders were better flavored than Chick-fil-A's. I have their new barbecue chicken sandwich oh, it was very messy but good. Barbecue sauce if it's put on too heavy for me usually overpowers entree and I found that to be true here, I just know for next time to order it on the side. The waffle fries we're a lot crispier than what I remember they were but they were very good! They're on point with their. I know it's blasphemy to say that something is better than God's chicken, but in this case it's true.

PDQ in general is a great tasting restaurant. Most of the dishes are chicken oriented but each dish never fails to bring new tastes! This place in particular was really nice. The staff, the cashier, the chefs, everyone seemed to "enjoy" what they did; serving the customer. I've learned that food tastes better when the ones who cooked it enjoy what they do. I ordered a Pimento Crunch Chicken Sandwich and it was wonderfully crunchy in all the right ways. My other recommendation is the zucchini fries. Other than that, PDQ is a great place to eat at. You don't have to dress formal so it's a great place to sit down and have lunch or dinner. I would 10/10 eat there again.

Just passing through on my way home and stoped at the drive-thru to get dinner here, as the Zaxby's line was too long. I'm so glad I did because it was amazing and honestly better than Zaxby's. Service was superb! The lady at the drive-thru was so nice and on point. The food was excellent. I've eaten at this restaurant before at a different location and they were good but at this place it was just outstanding and my son was over the moon about it ❤️

Used to be excellent, however over the past 2 years or so the cleanliness and attentive service has dropped. The restaurant smells of oil that's been used past its life for quality taste (as a result a rancid odor and smoke fill the air). Restrooms are meh, floors are dirty, tea urns serve up spoiled tea, eye contact and friendly smiles from staff is practically nonexistent, causing us to have to repeat our orders. Menu changes haven't helped either. Moving serveral customer favorites off the menu, along with the other points mentioned, make it an easy choice to pass up on this once high quality fast food stop which we used to frequent.

Great place with great food and service to rival that of even the mighty Chick-Fil-A. I've only been three times as of this review, but each time the food has been phenomenal. On the most recent trip, we went through the drive thru, and the server forgot my sandwich. But upon our return he brought it to us along with a voucher for a free meal on my next visit, so all was forgiven. Definitely recommended. Also, all of their sauces are house-made and each flavor is delicious in its own right. I advise getting each kind and trying them all to see which one you like best! In short, if you like really good chicken, stop by this place!

I never get chicken tenders anywhere because they are hard and dry as sawdust. Today something led me to PDQ and I ordered 5 tenders and waffle fries. I don’t like waffle fries, either. Too much like cardboard. I arrived home and sat down to eat. To my surprise, the waffle fries were still hot, and they were delicious. The tenders, though, are what blew me away. Large, soft, juicy tenders, and still hot. A revelation! I’ll be back, and soon. I would have given 5 stars, but you have to leave room at the top!

My family of 4 (2 adults, a 10 yo, and a 6 yo) ate here for lunch on 4/4 upon our arrival to the Saint Augustine area for our Spring Break vacation. We got off the exit not entirely sure what we’d come across but saw PDQ and gave it a try since it looked interesting (plus we don’t have them back home). We were pleasantly surprised! The spicy chicken sandwich was awesome, as were the fingers, sauces, and waffle fries! All four of us really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly, the food came out fast, and the restaurant (and restrooms) were very clean!

Nathan R is the best. We absolutely love his jokes and quick wit. The chicken and waffle fries are Soooooo much better than Chick-fil-A or Zaxby's. Love the tea, which is soooo much better than Panera. Thank you for your fast and friendly service. We'll be back

Came in and my friend and I were immediately greeted with big smiles and happy attitudes. Place has great vibes! Very clean! We ordered the Honey Butter Chicken sandwiches. I got zucchini fries on the side and my friend fries.Service was quick and the food was very fresh, hot and absolutely delicious! They have a Coke machine where you can mix it up which I really like. Everyone was beyond awesome and even the manager was greeting people and helping his staff. Now that’s great service. Other places should take note. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My wife and I ate here for the first time yesterday... And I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner! I had the Pimento Crunch with Zucchini fries while my wife went with the Honey Butter and regular fries... Both were absolutely delicious. That delicious sandwich left such a lasting impression with me that I had it again at lunch today. With the amazing food, fantastic service, and more than reasonable pricing... I would highly recommend driving past Zaxbys and enjoy the PDQ experience.

Got a metal nail in my daughter's crispy chicken sandwich today. Management told us it must have dropped out of their fryer basket, but I wonder if there was something wrong with the shipment of chicken. Management responded well - apologized and offered food coupons. Not looking to sue or make money off this - just want people to know. Otherwise food was decent and service friendly. Not sure how to rate it. Decent food, good service, but hardware in the sandwich.

Great place to go, and usually very healthy food, with the exception of the zucchini fries but we love them so much. The only issue that we had with our last order plus the fact that we ordered a Cali bowl with chicken breast, and they forgot the chicken breast. Overall the food was still tasty without the meat, and it was too inconvenient to turn around. We really like going there.

Haven't had a more tender and juicy chicken strip in my life. Everything from waffle fries, to chicken, to the peanut butter milkshake was top notch flavor. Their signature sauce is definitely something to mention too. Will be coming back often over other chicken spots. Edit: This location has an outdoor seating area with plenty of space between tables. Also had a hand washing station placed outside the bathrooms, which I've never seen before.

Went here for lunch, and I ordered the spicy chicken tenders, and they were delicious! I love how juicy their chicken is, I wish they would build a location in Clay County!

The food is great everytime we go there. They are super nice n always willing to help if stufk between choices. The tenders i think best in town the always nice n crunchy, good flavor without the sauces. Milkshakes are great too, havent had anything bad from this restaurant. There burgers were a surprise like why get a burger at a chicken joint trust me wont be disappointed, flavorful, juicy every bite just as good as the last!

Very very good experience at this location. I forgot the staff members name but he was very attentive and ensured we had a good experience. Restaurant is clean and nicely decorated for Halloween also! Food is great!

Fast service and great food. Only reason not 5 stars is that the group said the chicken could be more flavorful. Seems to be modeled after Chick-fil-A and I honestly prefer these fries over Chick-fil-A fries. I got the salad with crispy chicken. Everything everyone got was good, The freestyle machine is always a favorite in my group but they said the mix with a little bit off on it. We would come again.

Pleasent people here and quick service, even when coming in near closing time. Sandwiches we got were tasty and the waffle fries were crispy and well seasoned. Restaurant was nice and clean and looked good and up kept.

I just did a drive-thru for the first time and had to pull over to write this review! First of all, WOW! Now THAT was customer service!!! They have a window with a friendly person, instead of the drive-through speaker to start your order and they also ask your name and address you at both windows! My food is delicious and the fast, polite service was so refreshing! Will definitely be back! Love it!

Very good restaurant! I’ve gotta say, it’s somewhat laughable when i read reviews where people feel slighted by the simplest of mistakes! First world problems, “my chicken was slightly burned!” “The tea wasn’t cold enough” on and on and on. Like children. PDQ is an outstanding establishment and has a solid business model. Guess what, restaurant employees aren’t perfect, and you aren’t either.

Anytime I come across a PDQ I make it a point to stop. This location was clean, fresh, and fast. I love their crispy chicken sandwich and creamy garlic dipping sauce! The waffle fries are far better than Chick-fil-A. They have a delightful crunch with every bite. If you haven’t been before stop and give it a try.

We normally love this PDQ but today we ordered a take out salads. The chicken in one of the salads was small crunchy pieces and very few. The lettuce and spinach in both salads was old. Very disappointed that if you take out salad it is not the quality we’re used to getting there. My salad went down the garbage disposal. Just sorry I didn’t think to take a picture before I tossed it.

Had the spicy nuggets and it was really good. I usually don’t like waffle fries but they were yummy. Food came out quick. Overall good.

The PDQ in Bartram Park has quickly become one of our favorite household spots. The service is always swift, friendly, and attentive! The food comes out quick, at a great price and tasting delicious every time. Matt upholds the store image very well as a manager, as he is clearly dedicated to quality. Stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling home on vacation. We were looking for another popular chicken place but didn’t see it so decided to give PDQ a try. So glad we did! The people were friendly, the food was fast, the place was clean, and most of all the food was great. Definitely recommend.

It was great! Tenders are delicious, drive thru is very fast and easy, staff is kind, and food quality is great! I filled out the online survey and got money off my next purchase! Definitely recommend checking this place out! Bathrooms are clean, and tables are wiped. Definitely coming back for more!

Good food, and great customer service. My complements to management, I went thru the drive thru a few days ago, and the window server (Nathen) was very polite and helpful. When I picked up my order at the window I made it a point to tell him what a wonderful job my wife and I thought he'd done.

At the drive-thru, I ordered the Mediterranean salad, and my husband ordered the Thai bowl. Both were delicious and satisfying. Service was pleasant, clear, and quick. We started to go inside, but the air was thick with grease. I recommend picking it up at the drive-thru and eating it outside.

This place is absolutely awful. Does not compete with Chick-fil-A. Prices are overrated and the food was not good

Jessie the manager is awesome!!! Her and her staff are always so happy and friendly! Not to mention she is always going above and beyond for her customers. I love going there to purchase catering orders for work and for personal use. Deff my favorite place to go eat and just to go to period.

They serve better chicken on Sunday it’s that down home southern kinda chicken and the young man taking my order at the drive through window was good at his job and we had a nice conversation about music great place great people great food it’s like the far better version of rasin canes

Store was extremely clean. Wait staff were friendly and courteous. Had a Greek salad with chili lime vinaigrette. The lettuce was very fresh and crispy. The grilled chicken was flavorful and plentiful. Hummus was surprisingly delicious. Very affordable. Will definitely visit again soon.

The food is OK, but a bit overpriced (it is, after all, still fast food). The place is very clean and the soda fountain gives you more choices than you shake a stick at. I'd go back there, on occasion, if I really wanted something else than the customary fast food fare.

Chicken has gotten better than when they first opened. Tried it at first and didn't go back what couple years now. Until lately I tried it again and their chicken has a better taste so I go 2-3 times a week for their salad.

Great food, lightning fast service, and no issue with parking! The staff goes the extra mile and is extremely polite. This is a go-to lunch spot.

We had a lot of fun! Waited approx an hour for our bowling lanes to open up but we played all the arcade games during that wait. We has a blast! I only wish they had more arcade game options. I'll definitely be returning.

Delicious as always. With the transition to our new normal during this quarantine, their menu has altered a bit. They no longer have as many side item options, but their waffle fries hit the spot every time.

The crew is always happy to serve, even minutes before they close! The food is fantastic as well! Have had the milkshakes which are very good, and I’ve only tried the drive-through which is very quick.

Love PDQ but I ordered a full size salad and this is what I got for full price in this container . Come on man really !

Best chicken dining my family has had in awhile. Super efficient and caring staff. Absolutely enjoyed our server Stone's hospitality and ability to keep with how many sauces my husband needed.

A great place for families and groups craving chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and meals. A nice variety of chicken items. Clean and airy atmosphere with cozy outdoor seating as well.

The food is just average but always consistent. My daughter loves it. It also is usually empty so no waits. It's convenient to my house so we frequent it often.

Love this place and my kids do too! My kids are picky and they normally don't eat when we go out. However, when we come to pdq my kids eat all of their food.

Delicious crispy chicken sandwich. Loved the waffle fries and BBQ sauce. I tried the Mac & Cheese, very creamy and cheesy. Pasta was Al Dente the way I like.

First time ever eating at PDQ. I ordered the Thai Peanut Bowl which was really delicious. It had a small kick but nothing too over bearing.

Breading was falling of the tenders. It didn't have much of a flavor to me.
