THIS IS THE WORST PLACE. DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR. Go elsewhere; on Saturday, my phone was stolen. The phone was there on Sunday, according to location services. I attempted to call, but there was no response, indicating that using their contact number is a waste of time. I called repeatedly after the doors opened but to no avail. My spouse and I both wrote emails outlining the missing item in great detail and including numerous images, but we received no answer. Later, a manager stated it was an inactive email address. After questioning the phone again and showing up when the club opened, I was informed of this. A staff member reported seeing the phone inside the toilet bowl of a restroom cubicle. Thereafter, management notified me that there had been no evidence of it and promised to write me; they took my email address, and I never heard from them again. This phone needed to be replaced, and it cost a small fortune. These are my suspicions as to why it was either taken by cleaners or by a member of the staff. The phone was discovered in the club on a day whereby only staff would have been present. Furthermore, a defensive bouncer went on a rant about how cleaners would not have stolen the phone despite there being no other plausible reason for its disappearance at such a time. It appears to have been erased as I even received a welcome email from Samsung expressing their delight over my new device. Moreover, Pryzm is a notorious club for spiking and neglects to take the necessary precautions to guarantee the safety of its attendees at the club. It's a dodgy venue wherein perpetrators cluster to take full advantage of the weak security measures.

Went here for my sisters hen to dreamboys. Left feeling dissapointed. I've seen Dreamboys on their live tour and this was nothing like it. The first guy did look like someone had pulled him off the street he is definitely not the cover page man. You know when McDonalds bring out a burger and the image is perfection, well stacked, sauce dripping and meaty? And then you get the actual product and its limp, dry and cold? Well that's what this was like. The doors opened late for the show leaving us hanging about too long. We were told we wernt allowed to que at the time stated. The room itself is small as it is in a nightclub. The chairs were rickity and in such bad condition one even snapped underneath a lady, causing her to crash to the floor. We were behind so many people that you couldn't see anything. Drag queen was great. 1 of the dancers seemed quite aggressive with his moves really tugging on heads and body's. Some members of my group stood up near the bar so they didn't get touched. No toilet roll in the loo as soon as we entered. They hadn't been cleaned from the night before! Meet and great at the end was ridiculous. Had one of the dancers tell me he was really tired having come from a show in Cardiff. Wouldn't reccomend this at all

First of all, HUGE drug problem… majority of the people inside were red nosed or had their jaws swaying. Secondly, they shouldn’t be handing out “free shot for an instagram follow” on the front doors, if the bars inside “aren’t doing the free shots today” Thirdly, no females were body searched because there was only one male doorman searching guests on the way in (I don’t know if females never get searched or if it was just for tonight) Also, why is only one doorman searching when there are 5+ doorstaff standing outside? Fourthly, they don’t know when to either help/remove people for being too drunk. I witnessed far too many people (majority girls) having to peel drunk individuals off themselves. Including myself. Lastly, majority of the staff members we came across tonight are discourteous and dismissive. I will not be returning to this Pryzm unless something changes. I hope nobody else’s first time experience was as shocking as mine

Best night out I've ever had!!! My partner and I were in Bristol for a weekend away and visited PRYZM on our first night. The staff were so nice and friendly, they even gave us advice on which floors to dance on. There was a great verity of music and rooms and also really good drinks at a great price (because we went on a student night). The place was very clean and well maintained, which just added to our enjoyment. The only downside was that one of the bouncers called me a 'gay Lee Evens' upon arrival, when checking my ID, which was obviously very disrespectful and unprofessional. It didn't actually effect the quality of my night, but you can imagine why this would be a negative thing, otherwise I would have given PRYZM 5 stars. I'd say anyone would be able to enjoy themselves here - just watch out for the bouncer on the door and his cheap insults!

Extremely unpleasant experience Had tickets for before 11.30, were in the queue 20 minutes before this and had asked the bouncers if this was fine when we joined the queue. We were assured that as we were in the queue it would be fine. Queue moved very slowly (I suspect partly intentionally on the part of the club). When we finally got inside the bouncer called my friend a "f*ck*ng weirdo" under his breath (Bouncer in question was short, balding ginger man, mentioning this as behaviour was entirely unneccesary, rude and unprofessional). We were then told we could not use our tickets as it was after 11.30 and would have to pay extra, despite what we had been told earlier. When we tried to bring this up we were shut down and all the staff were incredibly rude. In short: Do not go here if you want to have fun and not deal with unpleasant people.

Was accused by the Small 5’8ish male bouncer that I was trying to sneak in after I had payed £7 on the door and waited almost an hour in the queue, I stepped outside for 1 minute to tie my shoelace as I was getting in people’s way, the big woman bouncer also apparently saw me sneak in which was a complete lie, even showed proof on my mobile banking app that I had payed but at that point I had caused too much ‘chaos’ even though I was been perfectly reasonable. My friend even got threatened to be punched because he tried defending me and was explaining how I had actually queued and payed to get in. Overall don’t recommend this club at all, would rate 0 star if I had the option to but I don’t so 1 star it is I guess.

The black womens security guard behaviour was absolutely disgusting she was a complete bully wouldn’t let me go upstairs even though my jacket was tied around my waist when there were others wearing full on coats, kept following me all night asking why my coat wasn’t in my bag and then followed me asking me to put my shoes and wouldn’t leave until I did, her attitude was gross and even another security guard picked up on it as he asked if I was okay. All my friends noticed that she was just singling and picking me out no one else. Would of had a better time if she wasn’t there. She’s completely ruining the atmosphere at Pryzm.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience, we were told at the doors that because we had a party of 12 we would get a discount of £5 per person, yet on arrival of main doors we were told we had to pay £10. We refused to pay and then we’re escorted by the staff out of the premises, we attempted to explain that there was a miscommunication with staff members, I personally was told to stop pushing the staff when I wasn’t touching anyone whilst being pushed out of the club. It’s obvious that the staff can’t take any constructive criticism about there procedures and how things are dealt with not a place I would recommend going to

Toilets with human excretiment all over the seat, told security staff, they just shrugged as if this is uncontrollable and did nothing more about it. Then one of our group used the womens and there is no toilet seats and a cup in one of the toilets causing it to overflow. Absolutely disgusting, £8 entry fee for 3 of us is £24, surely there's enough budget in there to keep toilets in an acceptable condition or have a cleaner/toilet attendant actual keeping toilets in a useable condition. Animals wouldnt use those facilities, the streets would be cleaner.Other than that a great night but one small thing really can ruin a night.

got told to f off by multiple bouncers when crying and explaining i lost my jacket. I wasn’t allowed back into the room i lost it to look for it, and one of the bouncers who i asked for help simply shrugged and said he was doing “something else”. My friend also had an ASTHMA ATTACK on the stairs and was told she would be kicked out if she didn’t move!! I have never been treated so badly by club staff, especially with the increased fear around spiking and heightened emotions atm, it’s unacceptable to be treated like dirt when you’re vulnerable and crying. I never found my jacket, walked home without it at 2am.

Smells terrible in there and sticky floors. Also, woman at the end of the night couldn’t be bothered to collect my coat from the coat room even though that was her job. Then she said she couldn’t find it and shrugged her shoulders at me, as if she couldn’t care less. I was utterly astonished by how rude and unhelpful she was, especially considering I paid for them to look after it and it was numbered. She should probably get the sack. As well as this, coat room very overcrowded and spiking levels are high there- I feel like more needs to be done to protect the safety of individuals.

I couldn’t find my cloakroom ticket at the end of the night, so I was unable to take my coat home with me. This was on the 28/10/2023. I found it the next day and reported my coat lost via their lost items form alongside a photo of my cloakroom ticket. They didn’t respond. I phoned and left a message. They didn’t respond. I re reported to their lost and found. They didn’t respond. I emailed their customer care. They didn’t respond. 2 weeks on and nothing. My coat was in the cloakroom so it should have been super easy to locate. I’m at an absolute loss as to how to get my coat back.

You never really know what to expect when you enter a prism but this one had nice and cheap entry. I was searched at the entrance but my belongings were not. (Found that a bit odd as there was a huge pile of trays) Drinks were an alright price but had no orange or Pineapple juice and the Bartender thought it was appropriate to put a double in a rocks glass... No security on the dance floor at all. Some guy started inappropriately dancing and touching my friend, had to leave as we couldn't get away from him. Other room closed early due to lack of people.

Staff are lovely minus one security member. The way she behaved and spoke the my friend was discusting, she told me to shut up when I said something and was horrible to me for no reason. I have been going to the club for over a year and loved this place but the way she behaved was horrible and was upset to see someone think she could talk to us that way. The entertainment in mostly good but this one experience has put me and my friends off from attending. I don't know why a company would hire someone like that and I have seen other comments about her.

"3 short men doth not the dream boys make!!!" Terrible. 0 stars. If you weren't in the front - you didn't see a thing! The "acts" should have been on a stage and the DJ up out of the way. Toilets[considering there were females only!] were disgusting, and excrement everywhere! The "chairs" were lined up, crammed in and falling apart; drinks "1 price until 10, then dropped for an hour when the nightclub opened " then hiked up again! Would NOT RECOMMEND! PRYZM, don't sully your venue by hosting these again! #Dreamboys, shame on you!

Had one of the worst nights of my life there. A bouncer assulted me and my friend leaving bruises all down my friends arm and me in tears. I told another bouncer about this and he said that they would see that something was done about it but I recently went back there to see the same bouncer that assulted us was still there! Absolutely nothing was done. I've also heard about numerous spikings that have happened there. I will never be going back there again and I urge any female that goes there to be extreamly careful.

The bouncers were the most discussing, common and rude people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. We had travelled all the way from Surrey for a 21st birthday and one of the group was not allowed in because he was wearing trainers. These trainers were not too casual and if this is such a deal breaker it should be better advertised! It is however ok for girls to enter the premises wearing next to nothing. We had a brilliant night elsewhere. When we next come to Bristol we will not be trying to come here again.

Horrific place. I witnessed a bouncer smash an innocent man's head off the floor outside. He was unconscious and blood was everywhere and the rest of the door staff hid the bouncer responsible for it. They showed no care as to what happened. The man was in a very bad way when he was taken by paramedics. I've not got a weak stomach but it made me feel sick. I would never go back to this place again. Bully boy bouncers.

I had a serious incident whilst I was in one of the rooms in PRYZM. Someone threw a bottle on me, luckily I got away with minor injuries and a broken pair of specs. I complained to the bouncer, all my details were noted down, and no action was taken. I asked if I could speak to the manager, and my request was turned down every-time. I have been in Pryzm before, but this incident and the nature of the staff has put me off from visiting this place again.

Queue was about 1/4 a mile long, even if you had prebooked tickets. In an hour we had moved a third of the way up the queue. No monitoring of the queue at all, so as predicted people were joining at random points making it take even longer. At least higher end clubs in other cities have the decency to turn you away instead of wasting your time and money (we had prepaid). Probably a nice club inside based on the pictures, but unlikely to ever find out.

I am actually livid by the extent to which I was ripped off at the Pryzm bar last night. I was charged £4.50 per shot of apple sourz. If you work at Pryzm please send me a reply and let me know if this is the actual selling price? I ordered without asking the price because I was sure this would be the cheapest shot, but the people next to me ordered jager bombs for £2 each! I would really appreciate an explanation and a refund of some money.

Just went for a stag do and had it all planned. The staff to plan and book everything were very helpful (thank you Kieran). On the night we got in easily and all of our prepaid drinks were sorted with the friendly and help ‘ladies in red’ I would highly recommend going in a big group. All the rooms were great with different types of music and well monitored by bouncers which you don’t get in a lot of places. Thanks everyone!

Door staff were extremely rude and aggressive, when one of the members of the group was wearing the wrong shoes (which were brand new and smart). We were told we could get in by a member of staff if we came back with different shoes and they still Proceeded to deny us entry and literally lobbed my female friend aside because she was asking why we couldn't get in even though we had the right shoes on. Do not go here.

They took multiple venue entry payments from my bank account. It took me over 45 days and lots of chasing and still no result of repayment even though they admitted it was their error. Had to go through Mastercard to retrieve this outstanding balance. I would not recommend this venue or using card with them as their customer service were slow replying and very unhelpful. If I could put 0 stars I would!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We asked wether we could buy tickets to the comedy show on the door and the guy checked and double checked and they confirmed we could. We waited an hour and a half to then be told we couldn’t buy them at all. Waste of time and useless! Stayed for a drink after and just full of half cut insta baddies and hen parties flirting with staff. I’d avoid & go somewhere else.

It's a fantastic nightclub with multiple dancefloors and a nice outdoor area for smokers. Great selection of drinks at the bars and marvellous VIP areas. Bouncers are rude, they are everywhere I've ever been to in this country. Bars and the dancefloor are plenty busy, making VIP worth it. Only come after midnight, as beforehand is, as expected, empty. Unless you want a bargain, then 11pm is perfect.

We paid for VIP with table service, and spent most of the night waiting. We waited over 30 mins Asher being seated for our mixers then another 10 for our alcohol. About an hour later we bought another bottle of grey goose and waited nearly 40 minutes for mixers. Peyote just wandered into the "VIP " areas limited or no security. And the smoking area is a joke. Would not recommend to friends .

Got here 30mins early only to be told u've got to wait till 2 a bit surprised by that even tho booking in is at 2 but 30mins come on got to room only 2 find that they gave us twin not double the good lady said leave it and not to worry then eating brekky good lady had hair in bowl and I had hair in my bacon not a good stay this time but Bristol was good nice night with very good friend

1 star for toilets ! I know people get drunk and can pee on floor, but the smell and overall condition looked like they don’t have cleaners at all. Feels like toilets are not a part of this club. Clogged toilets and broken taps. You can’t just pee in peace. No matter how drunk you are, go the toilet and you will come out sober. No issues with staff or music honestly.

Young girls getting spiked all the time. Our daughter was spiked. The club said she had sunstroke and escorted off the premises as quick as possible.....TOTAL LACKING 'DUTY OF CARE' towards their customers. The company have asked me to contact them..... The guy at the beginning of the stairs can not be more stupid. What an idiot! I was feeling cold and he forced me to leave my jacket downstairs! I had to wait more than 30 min. to enter, and more than 20 min. to leave the jacket. This is ridiculous, If I dont want to leave the jacket, I dont have to. So disapointed. For 9£ I was expecting more than this.

The decor and size is admirable. The drinks deals are commendable. Unfortunately the same can't be said for ambience or music. Albeit a Thursday night, I'd estimate it's at about 5% capacity. The music is distressingly changeable, one minute you're throwing shapes, then seconds later it's oasis - wonderwall. I don't know whether I'm coming or going.

It’s a big ugly nightclub that serves a purpose. The ‘clientele’ isn’t exactly top draw - yet I was once told I couldn’t enter because I had green shoes? It’s and expensive, sticky carpet massive club that no doubt caters wonderfully to a certain crowd. There’s a demand for these places so they exist - if that’s your type of thing you’ll enjoy it.

My friend was spiked and the security guard automatically didn’t believe us and continuously questioned it. That is not the reaction any empathetic human being should have, especially not a security guard who should be there to protect people. Two of my other friends were assaulted and they reacted the same way.

Its a nice club with 3 different stages and each of them serves well depending on the time of the night. The bar was quick so you don’t waste time to get drinks. It was odd i have paid 12£ and 19£ on the same order and when I mentioned that the answer was thats the bill.

Mt granddaughter got spiked via a needle in there along with another young lady...last week...do you think MANAGEMENT or SECURITY were interested NO THEY weren't....Absolutely disgraceful response..Its all about the money not no ones welfare...what's it gonna take for these situations to be taken seriously..

During freshers week the club lies about the events by either not giving what they promised or by giving it in a small amounts, I think this is bad morals for a company to maintain and therefore will not trust any other events they have to be completely as promised, they always under deliver.

One trick pony DJ who cant stop talking or asking everyone to put their hands in the air every 20 seconds Themes of each room blur into every other rather than showing any kind of definition. Over crowded stupidly long queues for below average club. I know its not Monaco but its still dire.

Nice club, three different rooms to visit with a different genre of music in each. Overall a great atmosphere, it is nice to see a good club still in business. Would recommend if you're having a night out in Bristol

I got bullied by a bouncer for wearing a light jacket with no explanation of why its a problem. I have bad anxiety so I wear what I feel comfortable in, but I was really badly treated. Disgusting behaviour by someone in 'power'. I will be filing a formal complaint against him.

Rented the VIP, it was fantastic!! (minus random people getting into the VIP lounge, but was swiftly dealt with by the hostess and staff). The hostess named Megan was absolutely amazing, she handled all the drunks, gave great advice and was very friendly. Would recommend.

They finished cups at the bar when it wasn't even 12am and this made it impossible to order anything other than a shot. People in there and filthy and disgusting, I guess the only thing that's good is the music. Let's not talk about how dirty the toilet and the floor is.

The DJ was horrible. He kept interrupting the songs. Saying happy birthday to 5 people in the middle of the f*****ng song. He mixed songs that did NOT go together at all. No one knew the songs and people all around looked like miserable zombies. Worst night ever!

Joined the Asian Night last week and there was no Asian song at all. Only one room was opened for the party and the DJ ignored all the requests to play K-pop or Asian songs. Why cheating on people with a name Asian night with no Asian songs at all?

NEVER GO HERE ON A THURSDAY- it is so dead and it’s by far the worst club to go on a Thursday, men will grab you, security is shocking and the DJ is the worst DJ I have ever been in a club with. Never recommend unless you want a terrible night

Bouncers are riding their ego train and abuse what the can do I willingly held my hands in the air and agreed to walk out yet I was thrown to the ground by 4. Been here a few times and 90% of the time had a bad experience would not recommend

Great place. I went there on a Tuesday, apparently there was a reggaeton party. I'm really not a reggaeton fan, but I felt really good that time. The people were nice, top staff, I didn't wait too much time at the bar.

The women bouncer got funny with me last night and didn't let me in because of my "attitude". Was perfectly sober and was going to have a good night. Was always my go to place but the female bouncer ruined my night.

Hideous. Like clubbing in a multiplex cinema. Lots of power tripping antagonistic staff. I had one grab my hat from behind and get aggressive. A normal human reaction would be, I dunno...'please remove your hat'?

No idea what’s it’s like inside but if the woman door staff is anything to go by then I would rather drink a pint of wasps then give them my money. So rude and arragant, some people are just powermad, real shame.

Had an awful experience here back in October. Floors so sticky could barely dance and mate got spiked. The club felt tacky and the lighting, I felt, was poorly designed. (Been to clubs up and down the country)

I was far too old to be there. I don't know what I was thinking. It looked like a school disco. First time I've been somewhere that I could legitimately tell someone I'm old enough to be their father.

Bouncer on the door was incredibly bigoted and imagined a reason to threaten to "call the police" until his manager told him to stop and let us in. My friend was in tears. Never going again.

Visited Bristol on a stag weekend and visited Pryzm for some late drinks. I thought it had something for everyone over the 3 floors, but the barstaff were a little abrupt (Overworked?)

We had our corporate private hire events here last week. It was amazing. The staff were really great and we loved all the food. We will definitely be back again

Came here yesterday for my mates stag party ! Really good night , lots of big rooms with different music and hell of a laugh fair play , highly recommend giving this place a try.

Literally had VIP wristbands and some employee ripped them off cause he didn’t know what they were. Later we were denied entry into the VIP area due to no wristbands. Shambles.

Had a private event here and it was amazing. We did a cocktail masterclass within the main room. The food was delicious and I will definitely be recommending to others!

Large club with a few different floors but in trying to have a bit of everything doesn't really have anything special. Worth a look if you are already in the area
