I have been going to Dr Chaplik for 10 years and his work is THE BEST I have had. I have horrible teeth so I have been getting work done on them my whole life and no one is better than Ivan. I used to go to this fancy place on Central Park South thinking I would get better care. The office was great but the work was not as good as Dr Chaplik’s. His office isn’t anything to look at and the wait times can be long but it’s worth it. The whole crew here is Ukrainian so sometimes a little is lost in translation but I’m telling you I will never go to another dentist.

I called to make an appointment and at the time the receptionist told me they accepted my insurance and that she checked it. Then a few weeks later the day before my appointment, she very rudely called me to say that my plan doesn’t have dental (which I know it does) in order to avoid admitting that she just never checked my insurance when I asked her to run it through weeks ago. Horribly rude and even if I had different insurance, I would never want to deal with their staff. Avoid if you can.

This place is disgusting. The dentist has horrible manners, wears a dirty smock, and shamed my son for not cleaning his teeth well enough. Worst experience I've ever had. All because they take my insurance- but they charged me an extra $114 saying he needed a stronger cleaning. Scam artists. Do not go here.

Literally the worst dental experience I’ve ever had . My “ cleaning “ took about 30 seconds to do and while i would hope that to say that was flattering I know it wasn’t that there wasn’t much to do it was just the shoddiest job ever . Waste of a dental visit charge on my insurance .

Mean, very rude dentist. I went there with my family and had a tooth ache. He banged and pulled at my tooth without any numbing…after I sat up and yelled at him, he rudely uttered mean words and then numbed the area. 1 star for the quickness I got the appointment.

Even with an appointment they make you wait over an hour. Then they lie to you about how long it will take to be seen by the dentist in order to get you to wait longer. They treat their patients disrespectfully.

I love this dentist office! They call to remind me of appointments. Dr. Chaplik is very professional, knowledgeable, and gentle!! I highly recommend it.

Had no issues with this place at all. The receptionist and dentist were both very helpful and kind. Will be going back.

Don’t understand so many of the negative reviews- my experience here has always been fantastic. Dr Chaplik is the best!
