We purchased my wedding set here over 20 years ago. Sadly, I lost my ring and have been broken hearted for months. Realizing that it was not going to turn up, I decided to get a new one. So back to Steve Padis we went. Initially, I contacted them via email and Jeff got back to be instantly. I told him what I was looking for and he put me on the list for entry. When I arrived, Valerie met me out front and escorted me back to the store. They really have a wonderful selection and the best pricing in the whole Jewelry Center. Valerie was very patient and knew exactly what I was trying to describe. When I chose my diamond, she contacted Mr Padis. As a return customer, I was very well taken care of. You really get a "family owned" feel while here. They soldered my rings together and set the stone while I waited. I don't live close, so I just went to grab lunch while it was being done. The box is amazing! I know that sounds silly- but it comes with an LED light that goes off when you open the box. I almost cried when I opened it. I can't vouch for the others sales people, but I do recommend Valerie. She recently helped one of my dear friends choose a ring that he surprised his fiancé with. She could not have been happier! Valerie applies no sales pressure. You tell her your budget and she will find you exactly what you are looking for. Thank you Valerie!!!

I am late to share this but I'm am extremely pleased with the service Padis jewelry, in particular Anne Start, provided me during an important time in my life. I first went to Padis about a year ago when I was in the incipient stages of proposing and looking for an engagement ring. I was completely overwhelmed. However, after looking at many stores and letting some time go by (about a year!) I had a very welcoming feeling in my heart about Anne. After some investigations of my own, I e-mailed Anne a few versions of rings I was considering. When I came back in with my friend for moral support, she had the ring I ended up deciding on ready for me to view.\ Anne let me look at other options but she knew she had the ring for me, however she never pressured me. When I finally came to the right decision, she worked hard to get me the right price and the right fit. She offered me creative ways to fit my fiance's ring size and worked extremely hard to get it just right. To Anne and Padis, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Buying an engagement ring seemed like a daunting task. For me, the idea of buying a ring that your future wife will wear for the rest of her life was intimidating. Fortunately Valerie was there to help me. The selection at Padis Jewelry is enormous. They have an extensive supply of quality diamonds with a full-scale inventory of settings. This is a good thing because you know you'll be able to find the perfect ring but can feel exhausting without the right guide. Valerie treated us like family. There was no sales pitch, no "upsell", She was really there to make sure I found the right ring for us. I told her what I thought I wanted and what my budget was and she would bring out stones and settings that fit the description. She also made suggestions that opened by eyes to new options. I was really happy with our selection in the end. After our selection Valerie took her time to guide us through the setting, appraisal and payment processes. She was even able to rush the jeweler so I could make my flight in time. For all my future jewelry purchases I wouldn't trust anyone else besides Valerie and Padis Jewelry. Ask for them, you wont be disappointed.

We had a friend refer us to Padis to look for engagement rings and once we got there, one of their consultants Mindy helped us. This was our first time looking at rings and it became our only spot we looked at because Mindy made our experience so fun and special! She was very welcoming, warm, enthusiastic, and kind. Her expertise and attention to detail made the process smooth and kept our stress levels at a minimum. You can tell she really cares about what she does and wanted us to pick rings that we truly loved by giving us pointers and many options to choose from. I have a friend who has worked for Padis Jewelry for at least 30 years every holiday season. I have bought a few pieces over the years from Padis. With my recent engagement, Maureen recommended I talk with some folks there. We ended up with Valerie in the SF location. What a great experience. My fiancé had a rough idea of what she wanted, but we hadn't really found it anywhere else. Valerie showed us everything that could be built to provide what we wanted, thru this process, we stumbled upon the exact ring she wanted. A heart shaped diamond with a hidden heart shaped halo and lots of filigree and pave' diamonds. Valerie then guessed the size of my fiancés finger and my fiancé said "no, it's not that small". Valerie then pulled out the sizing rings and she was exactly right with the size. We received great friendly service that made the ring buying experience a pleasure.

Eric was good to work with and very detailed, patient, and responsive. The main thing to keep in mind when working with Padis is that they have their own inventory of diamonds which naturally they prefer to sell. However if you have an exacting eye and know exactly what you want and are able to tell the difference between the criteria you care about, you should push for them to source against those exact specifications for you. Otherwise there is a comparative discount that makes it seem like their inventory is better priced, but it’s not comparing apples to apples if you have very specific criteria that you know you want and can tell the difference between. Overall however I do recommend to work with Eric and Padis. Just make sure to underline what you want, and what you do not want to compromise on, regardless of price.

Steve Padis jewelers are amazing. If you want high quality jewelry that sparkles, attentive and understanding customer service (they listen to your desires as well as your budget), and a fantastic experience from start to finish, this is your place. I’ve gone there many times over the years and always have a great experience. This time, I worked with Valerie. I took too long to head over to the showroom and the timing was short for my purchase (because I needed particular sizing and wanted it in time for my mother’s birthday), but Valerie put a rush on it and even drove my purchase over to the East Bay for me. Talk about outstanding customer service! And, since I was there, I couldn’t resist buying a bauble for myself, too. Stop your search… this is the place to go for all things bright and shiny.

We are so grateful for Anne’s help and expertise. She went above and beyond to help my mom and I find the perfect birthday gift for my sister. Since we weren’t able to go to the San Francisco location she curated a beautiful selection of pieces within our price range and brought them to the Walnut Creek location for us view. The whole shopping experience was seamless and magical. Anne is so easy to work with and has such an eye for details. We loved all of the pieces she pre-selected for us and she really made the whole experience fun. We were grateful to be able to find a beautiful quality tennis bracelet that my sister absolutely loved!! Great experience start to finish here. My girlfriend and I stopped in looking for an engagement ring. We had not made an appointment, which I'd recommend doing, but still managed to get quick, friendly, service from the floor manager Valerie for the next 45 minutes. We found some good options, but after sleeping on it weren't convinced we'd found the one. Valerie spent the next couple of days texting back and forth with my girlfriend to show her different styles and options. We came back the following week and found the perfect ring. I went to purchase an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Anne was the jeweler that helped me. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I felt confident that I was in good hands in making this very exciting decision. I knew I was going to find the perfect ring with Anne’s guidance. Just happened to stumble upon this store while in the diamond exchange hoping to find someone that could do something truly unique and special for my engagement ring. I was so lucky to find Eric Beres there who was able to not only guide me through every step of getting a ring but also reached out for me to different jewelry artists. Having a custom made ring based on my fiance's family's antique seemed too difficult a task, but with Erics help it was not only easy but I walked out with the most incredible ring I could have hoped for. Great service from Mindy while waiting to say hello to Laurel. I sent pics of pendants to my wife that I wanted to buy for her; she didn't like what I picked. Then I asked for a specific diamond that I saw online but it was not available anymore. Padis is the only place I (and my husband) shop for jewelry! They treat you like a member of the family!!! Everyone is so helpful and patient. Anne helped us pick out my engagement ring. I swear she let me try on every ring in the store until I found the perfect one! She was an amazing help and explained all the different things we needed to know in picking out diamonds and settings. We even went back to Anne for our wedding rings and our wedding day gifts! Also, their VIP party every year is one of my favorite events of the holiday season — I never miss it!

Lisa is my go to when it comes to fine jewelry. She always gives me the best experience and goes above and beyond. Lisa has a lot of patience, knowledge, and has many years in the industry. She is amazing when it comes to providing choices. I have bought many dainty pieces as well as my engagement ring from her. Lisa knows any time I want to buy something it has to be in yellow or rose gold. Padis overall is great! They always do their best accommodating to requests. I've worked with a few other people when Lisa is not there but, Lisa is by far my favorite!

My boyfriend and I bought a ring at Padis this past weekend and we worked with Anne because she’s a specialist in colored gemstones. I’m very picky so I had a lot of opinions, but Anne worked with us and kept bringing us options based on the feedback I was giving.
