I stopped here back in the early 1980's and it was quite the place. Not so much these days. Such a shame too. Cat scale looks well maintained....that's the pros comment. Mostly a rental yard for local drivers to park. Costs $10/night to get a 10 hr. break....the lot is full of potholes. The "store" is mostly cold drinks with chips and beef sticks/jerky. No other food available at this end of the facility (I didn't venture to the gas island end of the property) No showers or working public restrooms at the fuel island, not even port-a-johns available. The only reason I paid $10 to park is that I was down to 10 minutes of driving time and my delivery is 3 miles away. It'll work in a pinch but I'll plan my stops better next time I visit N.O. LA.

Greet price for fuel...just not very appealing. Pro: 1) Great fuel price Cons: 1) Pay in advance, no pay at the pump. Had to make 3 trips inside to get resolved. 2) Pumps not working smoothly. When hanging up the handle, it doesn't always register that it was properly placed in the pump. 3) No pay at the pump - takes a while to get credited back unused portion of charge to credit card. 4) Outside looks trashy 5) Entrance pot holes large enough to swallow a small economy card 6) Inside looked run down and need a huge spring cleaning 7) Environment looked "shady" my family (wife and kids) were afraid to get out and go inside to use the restroom. I do not recommend this station...even with great fuel prices.

Best stop I've been in around New Orleans cheap fuel you couldn't find nicer people in fuel bld. not to mention the cleanest, then casino n restaurant r even cleaner yet,really good food loose slots I was there for 2 days they will get my business from now on. They do need to fix lot n get hot water in showers though my take drivers need to start going there to help the place out they rely on locals pretty much this is a shame.Just now writing review was there in Aug 2019 read other reviews there not fair I have been running around New Orleans for 15 yrs.big easy is a dump both of them dirty smelly. And this place was very easy to find

09/14/2017 Its a small country truck stop with a huddle house. Not so bad just off the main interstate. Huddle House was as good as it gets. Didnt try the showers, but this has everything you need during your travels 01/15/2019 It has been awhile since we stopped in for an overnighter. Still plenty of parking, inside has a new restaurant... Krispy Krunchy Chicken, now i love me some fried chicken but this is the best that i have had in a long time. The folks here are awesome, very polite and fun to talk with. Always a good place to stop for a bite to eat, shower, use thw restroom and relax at the casino or tv lounge.

It’s just a casino on one end of the lot . The other end is fuel , cat scale. I would not recommend this place if your not having to deliver close. The lot is full of really deep potholes that can do damage to truck. The shelves are empty in the store . They do have drinks . But no foods like hot plate are sandwiches. Showers I would avoid as well . It’s basically a money pit . You also have to pay 10usd for over night parking. Trust me you avoid .

Called to make sure of everything. When I got here I about cried. No hours to go anywhere else. No Huddle House. Parking is $10. Showers I was told were $7. and why I even came here. Surprised NO HOT WATER!!! Restaurant is a joke. Parking lot will rock your world. C-store has about nothing on the shelves. I bet they are closed in a month! Sad they could do so much better!!!

I would stay here again. Not sure about the negative reviews but we had a great experience. $5 a day to park. Facilities were clean but we didn't shower here. We just parked the truck and got a cab to the French Quarter ($35 each way). Great and safe option for drivers to park on long weekends and to head downtown.

The manager at this location apparently doesn't know her own stores "specials" or there is a lack of communication to her employees. Will never go back to this establishment due to fact that they are very unprofessional. A Manger should know how to respect the customers that pay her bills.

Moved down to New Orleans for the military. Scales here for your future PCS worked perfectly and the attendant was extremely kind and helpful. Be careful in the lot, the other reviews about potholes are accurate, but the same could be said about the rest of the city.

Their were rats fighting in the ceiling. The panel kept moving and you could hear them little bastards moving around. Employees seem to be used to it. Laughing about the matter. We didn't think it to be Funny at all. Sooooo we left. We will not be returning.

Complete Dump don't waste your time stopping. No food no showers the convince store almost empty then they want 10 dollars to park. And you can break a axle in there parking lot it so rough never again stopping there.

Cold showers, why? Advertises resturant, closed, nothing close by that would deliver food. Parking lot was horrible. Cars slowly cruising through like they are scooping out the area. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Drive a little farther to the pilot.

I'd give this place a zero star if I could. Potholes everywhere, shelves are 90% bare, lights are out. Just goes to show how horrible a place can be when you've got no competition.

very disgusting shower rooms ..the give you dirty wash clothes and the towels have holes in it .no one cleaned them! We were very upset. the floors are very nasty ..please do not go here if I could give a 0 I would!!!

After delivering to new Orleans cold storage Arrived at 0400 doors locked employee sleeping told closed how you closed if open 24 hrs. Parking lot is rough wife and I just wanted to use bathroom before going to bed

While on vacation, we ran in to use the restrooms and the ladies gave one of my 8 kids a fidget spinner. They were super sweet and not just bc of that. Very welcoming the and the restrooms were very clean.

Great food I was amazed! I almost did not go in ,glad I did! 3.99 for the great food! The waitress was the cook my hat off! Parking lot in ruff shape and casino on the end pay no mind ,food worth trouble!

The shower room I was in was very clean &spacious. I parked the car & felt safe to get some sleep. I would definitely recommend this place & I will be stopping here again on future trips through this area

I live very close and the guy that runs the place is very nice easy going. All the staff but one woman rairly seen and i know why. They are nice and do thier job. their is always room for improvement.

Good place to rest people who works there are friendly. The parking lot is kind of rough other then that I have no complain. There's always plenty of parking too no matter what time you get there.

The people are fine here, but as far as the facility is concerned? Go somewhere else, unless you like shitholes. It's like staring deep into an infected colon. Fear factor could host a show here.

Quite place, good food and nice people. Mostly rental parking, lot could be cleaned up a bit. Was not in Casino, did not shower here. Not much traffic, makes for a good sleep.

I enjoyed my time here. The shower was NICE and HOT. Everyone is friendly. The place is nice and clean. Hopefully the food is delicious. I haven't eaten yet!!

I was actually surprised how nice it was and there is even there nice lunch type restaurant there as well as good priced gasoline and not in a busy area

Scan. Huge sign from the interstate and advertised as a truck stop. Three vintage gas pumps and an empty convenience store. Didn't visit casino.

If you're on the road and want some of that "waffle house" type of food, then look no further. Pretty solid place and the food isn't bad.

Close to work. Easy in and out. Prices are a bit high, but this is very out of the way. I usually stop if I'm going the back way to work.
