Absolutely terrible library. I’m on a 5 minute recruiter teams call, barely even talking and this worker with the mask comes over and starts knocking on the table and telling me to quiet down and that I’m shouting. Had to stop the recruiter in mid conversation just to talk to this employee. FYI I wasn’t the only one having a conversation in the library. No respect, you can clearly see I’m on a work call. And then after she is done talking to me she is talking in a very loud tone to the person beside me.. smh Just lost that work opportunity :/ I’ve been in multiple libraries across the US while working remotely and taking recruiter calls and this is the first time a librarian had this disrespect towards me. If your trying to get some work done and be on teams call don’t come here. They don’t mind regular phone calls but hate teams calls

Of the Los Angeles Public Libraries this one is a pretty decent size. There are plenty of tables and a nice size "teen" section which is great for young people coming to do HW or study after school, or meeting with a tutor (like myself). There are several computers to use but they do occasionally get taken up so it's a good idea to reserve one. The children's section has a nice variety of books and a great reading/storytime area. This area is somewhat secluded so usually the noise doesn't effect the more quiet, "adult" areas. Thought the book selection isn't that vast, there are some great finds. The section of self-help, health, and educational materials has a good variety. The DVD section is also relatively extensive. Overall the layout of this library has an open feel and makes for a good word/study environment.

I have come here twice in the last 3 weeks and the library has been closed when it was supposed to be open. I’m not sure what the issue is. I typically walk here from the other side of the 405 with my young kids, and I can’t tell you how frustrating this is. Thank goodness for the playground or there might have been tears. Otherwise this library is average. But this experience alone has made me want to give up on this place.

Nice staff but have been here four Saturday mornings - never found it open once. Even if they say they’re open the next day when you call on a Friday, if you ask why they’re closed on some previous Saturdays, they’ll say they’re short staffed. If you call again the next morning, you’ll find that they open at 1p instead of 9:30a as shown in the public information. Helpful to always call before making a trip.

The library with the best schedule. Logistically it has all the elements that you need to stay and enjoy the great atmosphere. The staff is inclusive and friendly. Thank you guys for making the library a fantastic place to be, to stay and to return.

Great location, wasn't crowded at all the librarian was very helpful especially when thoroughly explaining how to do certain things. Very clean well lighted environment, would love to bring my kids to the next door park.

Great library with incredibly sweet librarians! It’s never crowded and so easy to get in and out by reserving online or with some help from the staff.
