Panarottis Gold Reef Casino We had the pleasure of staying over at the hotel and decided to treat the kids to Pizza at Panarottis for the evening meal, so we headed over to the Casino and to Panarottis. The restaurant was reasonably busy, but had tables available. Standing at the reception desk, felt like we were being ignored by the three staff members at the desk. A simple greeting with we'll be with you shortly would have sufficed. One of the floor managers even approached us, then proceeded to shout instructions over us to a waiter working behind us. Finally appointed a table only to find the table covered in food and grime. Had to request the table be cleaned. I was shocked at the state of cleanliness of the restaurant. Everything I touched felt greasy and grimy, from salt and pepper to tables and chairs. Side plates arrived looking like someone had simply wiped food off with a dishtowel, covered in grease. Chips and cracks on the crocery. Food was OK, but not great with both pasta dishes tasting bland, pizzas were great. Service, although friendly was slow and often had to be called for. Generally disappointing and not what I expected of a Panarottis.

Sunday, October 1st 2023. First I would like to say that the place looks nice. The inside has got a rustic brick aesthetic and is awesome inside. However, this was the only real good thing about the place. We got there and ordered at 11:47, it was one small spicy ( hot )bolongnaise and one small sweet chili chicken. The waiter was rude and not welcoming at all ( I didn't catch her name ). We waited up until 12:10 and eventually I went to one staff member and they told me our order was not ready. So we waited another 10 minutes. It was now around 12:20 and I went to a different member of staff. It turns out our pizza was in the warmer all this time. Despite being in the warmer, the pizza was cold. It tasted really good, a 7/10 but presentation of pizza was poor, like a 2/10. All in all, the entire experience was a 2/10. There are so many other places to eat at Gold Reef, I sincerely do not recommend eating here until a serious change occurs. Cheers.

We had take away the first time we've been there. It took quite a while to get our food but that day the place was really full and crowded. We got a place to sit to wait for our food so it wasn't too bad. We had the Mac n Cheese Balls, a Sub and a Pizza. Everything was really delicious and still hot. The other day we were eating dinner inside and we had very funny and nice conversations and jokes with one of the managers. We had to wait a little for our drinks but that's because they just cleaned the kitchen. We were the last ones to come and dine since it wasn't busy at all for them all day they closed earlier. So we had a nice and peaceful time in there. We ordered Pizzas, Cheesy Garlic Rolls, Milkshakes, Beer, Strawberry Daiquiri and for desserts Tiramisu (very strong but very good!) and a warm chocolate pudding. Everything was tasting amazing and we had such a good time. Would come always again here

We sat down and it was quite bad service from the start as no waiter came to help, the manager eventually came to ask if we had been served and we said no so he took our drinks order. Eventually we ordered our meal via the waiter, we had ordered a vegan option of a chicken pizza (which is something they have available on the menu- it is not a special request). Our pizza arrived and on our second last slice of the pizza we had discovered the pizza had chicken on it. The manager happened to walk past just at the right moment and he was informed. He was apologetic and offered to make a new one, but by then we had eaten most of it already. So he did not charge us for the pizza. So if you are vegetarian, I suggest you don’t go there. You may get some extra ingredients which you don’t eat like our experience. Terrible for a franchise. The manager was quick to take the pizza away, I would have taken a picture.

We were seated at a table where the employees cellphones were busy charging . Service is very slow and no team effect/ communication between the pizza and pasta section. My pasta was ready and waiting at the counter I asked the waitress to bring the pasta in meantime as it was getting cold . We had to wait another 30 minutes for my hubbys pizza . Whilst I was eating my pasta one of the waiter came to ask if we could disconnect his 2 cellphones .hand them to him. This is just unacceptable for the rude interruption. We waited a long time for the bill and a pizza box for take away the the uneaten pizza. The waiter and waitress should work together as a team . Initially when Gold Reef branch opened the manager use to come around and ask if everything was ok with your meal . Unfortunately since he and his assistant has left this does not happen at all.

Had a decent vegetarian meal here. Lots of options available. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Creamy Spinach and Feta Pasta was delicious. Two of us had this and both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Another member of my party had the Crumbed Veg stack. She enjoyed it. Meal took longer than ours to arrive though. However portion size was really big. She couldn't finish the meal. The salad was so big we had to help her finish it. Salad was great, with Danish Feta. My wife's Vegan chicken and Mushroom sub was not so thoroughly enjoyed.

Hi , hope you well . i ordered food last week 9th May . my order was below and without onion and garlic , 1 Arabiata pasta with olive 1 Mediterranean pizza 1 margarita pizza i confirmed my order with lady twice . i dont know her name but i ordered around 6:00pm . when i fetch my order . 1 Arabiata pasta with olive - ( they forgot to not add onion garlic ) 1 Mediterranean pizza ( they forgot to add Danish feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh rocket. ) 1 margarita pizza ( was ok ) so 1st two items we did not enjoyed , and it was take a way so didnt even come back to goldreef again to change our order . Firstly, our waiter (Nhlanhla) was rude and told us who should order first. We placed our orders but they all came out at different times. The first plate of food came out and we had to wait another 15 minutes before the next two plates came out, then I was left waiting for my plate of food for another 15 minutes. I complained to our waiter and the manager told me that my plate of food would be on the house. When the waiter brought our bill, he did not remove my order from the bill. I tipped him, even though my friends really didn't want to because of the poor service. He didn't say thank you or greet us and angrily walked away from us.

The service was fair. We were assigned a waiter, and then latter on a Service Ambassador. I’m not sure what the latter was really supposed to do but there was just confusion between the two. The pizza we ordered (one with 4chicken wings & 4 ribs) was a bit on the soggy side because of all the sauces and extra cheese. But we were told that’s how it comes. It wasn’t thrilling to say the least. This time we went the atmosphere was good, as we didn’t have to waiting in a line to be given a table. The kids play area was well supervised and monitored cameras.

Ai the service was bad too bad The waiter had to be reminded of the food we ordered of which took 50 minutes to prepare. I was truly annoyed.. Haven't been so annoyed i even saw people walking away after being waiting to be seated for a long time some stood up after waiting a while for the food... I must say that I experienced the most amazing service ever received from any restaurant ever! Our waiters were Sam and Lucia. They were friendly and had hearts of gold. If this is the service then I can't give anything but 5 stars. You guys rock!! Thank you again Panarottis goldreef city as well as Lucia and Sam for making this a memorable moment!! This is what service is all about.. I stand in total amazement. Please make sure to somehow acknowledge their efforts because they done an outstanding job!! WOW!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!

What a total let down. I was really expecting more from this pizza as It was advertised as new on the menu. I have had a rib pizza before and it was not too bad as the rib pieces were deboned. Now when the pizza arrives it has rib bones with little to no meat and covered In sauce to make it look like it had meat on. Really really disappointed

Worst experience ever!!! News year day stood in line for 25 minutes only to be told that we cannot be served. I asked for the manager and waited another 10 minutes, finally I walked in and went directly to the so called manager making pizza’s at the oven, he refused to give me his name and said that I can do what ever I want ,he was very rude. I expect a reply from the store owner with regards to his horrible attitude.

Stay away. Worst service I've ever experienced. Waited 5 minutes at the door, while 2 waiters made eye contact and ignored us. Waited 10 minutes at the table before the manager took our order (the waiters failed to). 20 minutes after ordering we still hadn't even received drinks. After asking some waiters what's going on and seeing them cluelessly scamper about we walked out and rather got Debonairs.

They only started making the pizza after 40min only because we complained and it was not even busy. They are useless shame, if they weren't in a protected environment they'd run out of business. I'll avoid Panarottis going forward though.

Absolutely terrible in every aspect imaginable. We waited almost two hours for our order only to notice that the orders are incorrect, They served Raw meet on the pizzas, they ran out of glasses and started serving drinks in wine glasses, out of stock on half of their menu, including all cocktails, sprite & Coke. We will be avoiding this restaurant like the plague.

Very long wait to be seated,most of the time you get ignored while waiting at entrance to be seated. Waiter service is very bad and they are not very friendly. If the food wasn't good I wouldn't waste my time. The last time I ordered a Berry Sangria, it looked very different from picture and tasted like a Rose.

Visited Panarottis gold reef city last night and the entire service was bad . We had to wait more than 30 minutes for our takeouts, the saucy chicken and mushroom had some diced beef , it was dry together with the toppings and also burnt . I was so disappointed with the service .

Worst experience ever!!! We booked for our daughters birthday and when we arrived, the table was not ready, we waited so long for our drinks and the restaurant was empty. The worst service ever. Paid 1000 rand for my food only to get such poor service from unfriendly, rude cashier and supervisor. They even went to the lengths of delaying our order by an hour. This is really unacceptable. For an express shop. Nothando is the name of the cashier.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Al Capone pizza , Bacon and Ham pizza and the starter chicken strips in the hot tomato creamy sauce. We will be back. Mathesis School family.

It's more a 2.5 star than 3. The pizza was great! Lovely Mediterranean pizza. The service could definitely be better though. Waited about an hour if not more for our pizza - which might have been okay if the waiter checked in or updated us.

Horrible service.Ordered a pizza at 21.35. I was told it would take 30 minutes. still waiting 45 minutes later. Wait staff is more interested in chatting with each other. My order was out on the warmer but was told it's not ready.

40 min wait. Ask R6 just to put sauce on table. Normal pannarotis give Tabasco parmasaan and garlic for free. We fetched our food as there was no waiters. At least at Gold Reef City we got taken for a ride somewhere....

Great place to eat but don't rely on the gold reef discount. They only tell you when you pay the bill that you only get a discount with to drinks and 2 main meals.

The service is pretty good what's disappointing is the pizzas. The pizzas are just alright. After a long day on the rides it helps to get you back on your feet but the quality of the pizza itself could be improved.

We've been waiting for 57 minutes as of right now, the staff is shouting across the restaurant, the atmosphere and children are loud. The staff is not at all attentive. We are highly disappointed to tell the truth.

The food was hot and tasty, and the waiter efficient and knowledgeable. My child loved the play place, especially the slide. Nice family restaurant. I would recommend it!
