Absolutely ridiculous that in 2023 we as a society can't manage to get a pizza from point A to point B... This location, 86th and Ditch, uses Door Dash for delivery, which was not noted before ordering. I ordered off of Papa John's website and said it would take 30min... Welp 1.5 hours, and a hungry family, and screaming toddler later the staff was too busy to confirm my order with the correct Door Dash person. To which after over an hour it was supposedly "cancelled"... I've had my issues with Door Dash Delivery drivers doing this and taking your food before, which had I known that was who was delivering.. I would have packed my family of 5 in the car and got my pizza sooner than with this whole charade... When did simple pizza delivery become so overly complicated. The mixed up DD driver was the one to call me and tell me that they didn't have my order and that I can call to get a refund. Waited 10min to get someone on the phone... They have no problem taking my money but want to take their sweet time to give it back. OBSURD.

Ordered a pizza, said it would be 50 to 60 min. After an hour went by, checked again and still said preparing eta 50 to 60min, after another 30 min checked again, and said the same thing. Decided to call, they said it would be around an hour to get it because they only had one driver. We asked if it was ready because we would come get it. Turns out it had been ready and sitting under a heat lamp or something this whole time. When I got there, I noticed they had at least 7 employees there. I was not properly greeted and when I told them what I was there for, they said they had no record. I asked them to try my last name, thinking that my gf put it under mine. Nope, no record. I then spelled out her last name and I was told no record. They asked for number and somehow it miraculously appeared. Got home, pizza was cold, pieces stick to the box, dough taste undone and the bread sticks were hard. lso paid for extra sauce but didn't get it.

I ordered a pizza today where the weather is bad. In knowing this I ordered it 2 hours early and was told it would be here by 5:30p. When I realized it was 5:45p and the pizza had not arrived. I called to see if something was wrong and the woman who answered was very rude. Her supervisor said the pizza had already left and was on it's way. I said okay and hung up. However an hour an hour and half later I still had not received my order so I called back to check on it and was met with an attitude again by the Sam's woman. Who proceeded to to hang up on me twice. When I called back again, and spoke to the manager, he informed me that she did not hang up she is just busy but she was on speaker and everyone in the room heard her hang up on me. And as I type this I still have no pizza. Remind you, I ordered at 3:30p for it to be here by 5:30p since the weather is bad and it's almost 7:30p now.

I place my order at 4:40 p.m. on Valentine's Day supposed have my food delivered at 5:45 pm. Placed a $40 order. At 6 my food had not arrived and I called the store. I was told on their end it said that food was already delivered. That a DoorDash driver had picked up my food and I never received it. Then I was told that they will be sending a replacement order out did not get that until 6:50 p.m. when the driver arrived to my door I explained to him we were in quarantine and he decided to throw my food on the ground and rush out of my building. I called the store 4 times to explain to them this wasn't even my order to get hung up on three times and placed on a 15 minute hold the 4th time. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE! Horrible horrible horrible! Most of the time I am very happy. My experience last night was awful. My pizza was delivered and I noticed one of my pizzas was made wrong. I called and asked to speak to a manager, the manager was super rude and seemed upset that I was calling to say my pizza was wrong. Said she would send me a new pizza and hung up on me. At this point I am pissed, there was no reason to hang up on me. When the new pizza arrived again it was wrong. We had waited 45 mins for the first mess up and 45 mins for the second mess up I was to mad to call back. Really wish the customer service was better and that people could correctly take an order especially after two tries. Highly disappointed!!!!

This papa John's location is wrought with issues. Most of them stemming from the manager, Ricky. A week my fiance was surprised a delivery was going to be 89-99 minutes, so we called in to change it to carry out. Ricky had an attitude with us so we cancelled the order and went elsewhere. Then tonight, we order our food at 8 PM, expected a 30-40 minute wait. I called them at 850 to find out they weren't doing deliveries. They never called or did anything to notify the orders that were already waiting. Upon arrival to pick it up, we're told Ricky let all the drivers go home early. So in multiple occassions Ricky has demonstrated he's COSTING Papa John's money and has no remorse. He should be gon .

This place is awful. Used to enjoy papajohns, but idk what has happened. Takes 1-2 hrs to deliver cold pizza. They can't slice through the pizza, not to mention evenly sliced. My pizza was cut in 3 giant pieces, and 2 pathetic ones. Even the topping are a mess, not sliced correctly. I had banana peppers that were sliced long ways on my pizza, literally looked like someone attempted to peel the pepper and put it on my pizza. I just hope this is due to machines, and an attempt at automation. Otherwise, my hope in humanity has fallen quite a bit if they are really making pizza this way.

Ordered at 7:53pm online for half sausage half pepperoni with 2liter deal. Email received reads 15-25 minute wait. Arrive at restaurant at 8:23pm & am told it'll be another 4 minutes, my pizza is in the oven. At 8:49pm I overhear the cashier ask for my pizza to be made. I quickly question why my pizza is being made now. I'm told it's because someone clicked my pizza as made even though it wasn't. Four different customers, while I wait, had their pizzas remade because they were incorrect. At 9:00pm I finally receive my food. I wouldn't order from here if it was the last place that had food on earth & if I ordered it'd save my life.

I called was put on hold 3 minutes hung up called again put on hold I drove from traders point to the pizzeria n was never helped on the phone to place my order when inside told the associate about what happened she said sorry we are busy took my order I went outside to my vehicle to wait I was park right in front of the entry door 20 minutes later of waiting I decided to go inside and asked for my pizza which it was sitting on the done rack getting cold....she had my cell number never bother to call or just simply wave at me from inside to let me know that the pizza was ready... Great tasting pizza but service sucks....

Pizza and store were great. But my issue is with one specific employee, possibly the manager of the location. I’ve ordered from this location twice; and each time, every single employee was wearing a mask, except this one individual. He is a larger Caucasian middle aged man and I believe he is the manager of the location. He was not wearing a mask and he was handling the pizza line. I don’t understand why he thinks he has the privilege to bring other employees and customers into danger? Extremely unprofessional of him and really makes me feel disappointed with the papa johns brand. I will be leaving a feedback to HQ.

The pizza was cooked absolutely perfect for me! It says on the box that it was managed by Morgan. Not sure if that was who made it or someone who took the order. But if it was Morgan, THANK YOU! YOU ROCK! Also the driver was so polite and friendly. Really nice smile and attitude especially for 11pm.i don't know his name :c but he had longer hair under his hat maybe dirty blonde. We called tonight to place an order at the Ditch Location in Indianapolis-the lady on the phone had an awful attitude and acted completely incovenienced to take our order. Between her loud sighs and her rude 'Hold One-Let me go back" comments I told her that we could easily take our business elsewhere-If I hadn't already given her my credit card number I would have either hung up or canceled my order. I probably won't order or recommend this place to anyone-and will be glad to check out other estashlishments in the area that will appreciate my business.

My pizza was black black on the bottom so i called for a new one as im on my way they call me and tell me to bring the other for one yall know this is burnt and two i dont want it anyway so i was bringing it back anyway. Ordered a pizza a month ago and it took over an hour to be delivered and i live 3 minutes away and by the time it was delivered it was thin and cold. Called manager back and after him saying there were delays and the pizza keft the store at a certain time the pizza still took 45 minutes to get from the store to my house. They remade my order and i ordered again tonight and its still taking over an hour. Was on hold for over 15 minutes. This place has gone down hill the last couple of months. I eat at the Papa Johns on Ditch Rd. often. I order Pineapple Pepperoni Pizza with extra pepperoncinis. I also deliver door dash for this Papa Johns too when I need extra money. The establishment is always clean. They always get the order right. They are always fast, they don't make me wait, and the most important thing is, the food is always delicious. They put the right amount of toppings on the pizza. I've been on a pizza eating binge lately, eating pizza every day, or every other day, and this is where I buy my pizza.

The only reason papajohns gets 2 stars is because they're still better than Pizza Hut. Ever since swapping out traditional dough spreading for a machine their pizzas are absolutely terrible. This used to be my favorite fast food pizza, now they're 2nd from last. This review does not take customer service into consideration, I have nothing against this specific location only their food prep. My order has never been wrong but I dont order much.

TERRIBLE customer service. Both the paper ad AND the online price was $22 they had to argue with me over the phone that it was $24, then rang me up as $26.16 like I can’t do math. I showed up with the coupon and the manager Aaron STILL wanted to argue with me saying it’s an online only deal, when it didn’t say it anywhere. Then they tried blaming corporate for the difference. If you want pizza, save yourself from some entitled kids with major attitude who need some education in customer service and just order Hot Box!

I lost four hours waiting on this pizza, thinking it was due to the usual weekend rush Papa John’s suffers from. I end up calling at 12:30 in the morning to find out what’s going on: they’ve only got one driver, and the closer was stuck trying to hold the store together and get all of these orders out through Doordash/Grubhub. Management needs to help this spot to run more efficiently with more employees. And more communication, if possible. Operations lead Shannon Reitz took good care of the above situation.

First time I've ordered from them in about two year's. It probably will be the last time too! Very disappointed in the manager and the fact that he made no effort to correct or apologize for the problem I had with doordash and not receiving my order. Not sure who ended up with my pizza, chicken poppers and papadia, but I sure hope they enjoyed it! I know I didn't get to enjoy it! I might as well have flushed that $30 down the toilet. I've attempted to order the "Extra Cheesy Alfredo" specialty pizza here 5 times. 3 times it came with red sauce even though the pizza LITERALLY has the word alfredo in it. 1 time it actually came with a little bit of alfredo sauce on it even though I always order extra, but at least it had alfredo. Then this most recent time I ordered extra alfredo and it came with no sauce at all. Which is actually worse than accidentally putting red sauce on it! Do not attempt to order a pizza from this place.

I spend about a range of 20 dollars here but for the quality of the pizza it’s really worth it. Delivery speeds are really fast and I think it’s faster than door-dash. You can call to place an order and then pay at register which makes everybody’s life a little bit easier. Never had any mold or any quality problems on this place. I ordered a pizza from this location and the following day me and my family got sick. I am 6 months pregnant. I hope the staff really take my review into consideration because food poisoning is not good. I hope hands are being washed, pizza is being served at the right temperature. The pizza I received did seem like the dough wasn't thoroughly cooked. Now it's been 24 hrs I'm 6 months pregnant cant eat anything just can drink liquids.

This is the worst pizza store I have ever ordered from ordred my pizza at 7:52pm and an hour passed by still no pizza then called the store to figure out what was going on they stated it was an issue with the delivery driver refunded me my money and stated they would send the order right away about 3hrs passed and never received my order never... again will order from Papa John's and I would not recommend this store to anyone.

My order was completely wrong and the the “shift leader” had the nerve to say it seems like it was only one minor issue. Pizza was good, but service, not so much. Ordered 3 pizzas for our staff, spent about $48 including tip, it was suppose to be here at 11am, we only get 30 min for lunch. I call to check on our order at 11:08-11:10( we only get 30 min and now 10 is almost gone) only to be told in a snarky tone that they have 4 deliveries for 11 and only one driver. Didn't appreciate the " you're bothering me" attitude.

I’m not sure this location will survive much longer. Never had such few toppings portioning on my pizza. Middle area of the pizza was missing sauce and toppings all together, just dough. Sure is a shame when a pizza place doesn’t know how to make a quality pizza.

Orders consistently take >1.5 hrs to arrive, arrive cold, the toppings are so light that some pieces don't even have toppings on them. When you call they are completely apathetic and unconcerned. We should have learned our lesson the first 2 times but we won't be returning to this location. It's a shame because I generally like Papa John's pizza but this franchise is clearly poorly managed

Last time my family orders from this location! We've been customers since they opened this location off ditch road. Been almost an hour since the guy delivered our incomplete order, no Pepsi still. Upon delivery the guy turns the pizza sideways while removing it from the bag to check the name! Pizza was a mess inside needless to say..thanks Papa John's that's it for us. ✌️

I generally don't do chain pizza places, but this has been the best pizza delivery experience since covid hit. Piping hot, fast, and while I'm a bit surprised, the best quality and taste. Other chains have changed their recipes for the worst. Mom and pop places have been falling short (overpriced and sadly, just largely bad tasting.) This Papa John's did a great job.

They messed up my app order once & gave me the completely wrong pizza, & one time the delivery driver doubled the tip amount (almost to 80% of the pizza order) on the receipt which was basically theft in my eyes. But the manager was accommodating and made up for it. The people are friendly & the food is delicious. So I still think this is a good spot.

First they delivered to the wrong house and gave the wrong order, I made this order online @ 645pm I received my order at 10pm. Ordered pizza for a 6:00 delivery. It's 30 minutes late & still not here, and no one answers their phone. Won't order from here again. Update: my order arrived at 8:40pm, almost 3 hours late. This store does not answer their phone. I had to dispute the charge with my bank because I could never talk to anyone there.

Lawrence delivered my pizza very sweet.. They forgot my extra sauces and he gave me extras that he already had. Food was extremely hot like it came straight out the oven. Our online order was projected to take 15-25 minutes. Within ten minutes our order was ready. Even though we lived 20 minutes away when we got home our pizza was still hot. The staff were clearly all working very hard. We were greeted and in and out very quickly.

Ignore these negative reviews. Our pizza is always cooked perfectly. They NEVER forget our extra sauces. The employees are all exceptionally nice and always take care of us. This is easily the best Papa John's in our area!

Pepperoni Pizza was tasty if you are not too picky. Same for bread sticks with cheese and Marinara sauce. Chocolate chip Cookie (size of personal pan pizza) was good if a bit pricey at $7. Cookie will feed 5 or 6 people.

Best place in the northwest side of pizza town, the staff is amazing together they interact like a family they try so hard to please GM is very fair and that red headed driver is just such a pleasure to have at your door

I'm at a hotel literally a few miles away, and they won't deliver. "Outside their area". Sent me to another store, but it's closed. Called back, and said the same thing before hanging up. Great job guys. Great service.
