I have a 1200 square foot house of which is half brick and they gave me a quote of $6,900 For half a house granted there are some boards that need to be replaced but for that type of money I can get all the equipment I would need the airless paint sprayer and 5 5 gallons of paint a case of calk case of frog tape and a pressure washer for around $2,500-$3000 and the paint sprayer would cost me 989 with everything I would need to paint my own house for way cheaper than what they gave me as a quote I would like to post the quote on here so you can see how much more money they would make off of my hard earned money so what I decided on doing it that I’m going to just buy all the equipment and paint my own house and if I get gold at doing it as my own company I’ll tell you right now if I were to charge you way less them. Weed smokers or what ever they’re on to give me a quote of 6900 I’m that’s nuts I got another one for 5900 remember it’s half a house cause the other half is brick i It was just intended to explain how much of my house was being painted and for that amount of money for only painting half a house idk what type of program you use but I felt like how much work would be done on half a house that price is in my opinion is not out for my benefit but for the company would be the one who is winning when you charge me 100% profit is better for you I never said you’re company is not a bad company but I was shocked at the cost of what it would take for half of a one story house I’m sure y’all probably will go above and beyond cause you’re probably going to make $3,500-$4,500 profit just off of one house cause the materials are not as much as if I was to buy the materials cause you have a account with a paint company where a gallon of paint would cost me 45 as where you pay 25-35 for the same paint so the cost of the paint is much more cheaper for you then me that’s what Sherman Williams told me if I open a account with them I’ll get a better price vs anyone else that’s what it is what I was thinking about when I got the quote from you and the other company is that you charge full retail and not a little discount I understand there is over head but it’s not outrageous

Let me begin my story by saying that I am a very “Nervous Nellie” and a “clean freak”. I really wanted a face lift to my kitchen and was terrified of facing weeks of mess , dust and debris everywhere. I decided that having my kitchen cabinets painted would do the trick, (besides updating appliances). Paper Moon was recommended to me by a friend who had her home painted and was very pleased. I called for my estimate, and Peter Moon was prompt and quick to answer my questions and even suggested a cabinet maker to make doors when I pointed out my open shelving that I did not particularly like. This turned out to be a fantastic turn of events also! Mr. Moon assured me that the process would be smooth and to look on the website at photos. Their website, by the way, is great! After hiring Paper Moon, it was truly a smooth process. Yes, I was very nervous, but Paper Moon took good care of me and my kitchen, and my home! I won’t mention all the names, but many people went into the success of my kitchen cabinets. The contact people at Paper Moon were so kind and always returned calls, emails and texts. The color consultant was so wonderfully talented and was able to help me choose the exact color that would coordinate with my counters, back splash and wall. She, as well as the office, and project supervisor, were great about following up on the project. The painters were very detailed with all the tape and prep work required. They always showed up with a smile on their face, were well mannered,very professional, and worked hard. And my main head painter was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful work! Very pleased with our experience with Paper Moon Painting from start to finish. Easy to request an estimate online and received a prompt reply with a choice of scheduling remote or onsite review of our home renovation project which involved replacing kitchen and bath wallpaper with textured, painted walls and crown molding. Estimator (Peter Moon himself in this case) was prompt, thorough and provided a detailed written estimate the next day (this is a big deal in itself as owners of three other companies conducting site visits for various reasons provided estimates two weeks later, seven weeks later and never). Project scheduling and material specifications were handled cordially and efficiently by office staff. Connected us with an awesome contractor who purchased and installed the crown molding. Painter completing the project was the consummate professional who insisted on doing the job the right way and cutting no corners even though I have become so conditioned by other contractors that I would have allowed him to do so. Even his helper called time out upon discovering a vendor inadvertently had supplied a primer well beyond its shelf life, and the painter worked overtime on a Saturday to make up for time lost as a result. Both the painter and helper were very good communicators, which is not always the case in the trade, and their supervisor visited the site at least daily to monitor job quality and progress. The painter also was very attentive and responsive in the inspection phase to complete the project. There is absolutely no question in my mind as to whom I will call or recommend to family, friends and neighbors for future painting or wallpaper projects. It's only [a] Paper Moon!

I cannot say enough how glad I am we went with Papermoon when we decided to have our home repainted this summer. We did the majority of the interior and had kitchen and bathroom cabinets repainted as well. It was all long overdue, but I had been dreading having it done because I knew it would mean contractors in our home for weeks and all the mess and disruption that ordinarily entails. There is no way for that much work to be entirely painless, but Papermoon made it as close to painless as it could possibly be! The estimate process was very simple, their crews were on time, they were courteous, they were very good at keeping us appraised of their progress and expectations, and they did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day, which allowed us to have relatively normal evenings even in the midst of the work. We came and went from our home with no concerns about leaving their crew there, and even had part of the work done while we were out of town, which I would not feel comfortable doing with every company. I also highly recommend taking advantage of the color consultation -- I had been stuck for a very long time trying to choose a color to replace a beat up, over-warm beige that was everywhere in our home. Lisa was amazing at sorting through what would be the best fit for our light, architecture and how I wanted the space to feel. I am amazed at how much lighter and brighter our home feels with new colors, and delighted with the quality of the work. We'd been living with VERY poor quality cabinetry (Kitchen, vanities, kitchen nook/desk) after a remodel several years ago. We used Paper Moon Painting to update our kitchen cabinets. We had oak cabinets that needed to be painted and just cleaned up. I am over the "moon" thrilled with the exterior brick lime wash that I hired Paper Moon Painting to do for me. There are not many painting companies in San Antonio who even know how to do lime wash if any. Lisa met with us and even helped us decide on some other exterior paint colors. The lime wash artist, Cristal, arrived on time each day, worked diligently through to completion, and checked often with us to make sure we liked the effect. I give her kudos for this tiny beauty getting up on the roof to do the chimney too! Sarah, the office manager, is delightful and attentive as well. All communications were answered promptly. Just a week ago we had all of our kitchen cabinets repainted. It is one of the best remodel experiences we have ever had from the design process to the actual work and follow-up. All Paper Moon employees are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and trust-worthy. The work exceeded our expectations: the paint choices are perfect, cabinets doors were tightened and readjusted, new bumpers were put on all cabinet doors, and any gaps were filled with caulking. We are very happy with the work done in our home by Paper Moon Painting. We are just finishing a major remodeling project. We had Paper Moon painting repaint our kitchen cabinets and are thrilled with the results! There is a noticeable difference in quality from our original paint job done by a different contractor 7 years ago. They took the time to sand, prime and spray the cabinets with lacquer to create a beautiful smooth and durable surface on the cabinets with no brush strokes. Simon and CJ were very personable and professional and took great care with prepping our kitchen for the paint job. This was my second time using Paper Moon painting. The first time for to paint my kitchen cabinets. I was so happy with the professionalism from the painters who were on time, polite, attentive that I thought about them again to paint my front entrance foyer which has 18 ft ceilings. I rarely post feedback or reviews for anything but decided to do so for Paper Moon Painting. I dislike having work done in my home by anybody because of previous problems with contractors/different trades. We had Paper Moon basically redo our kitchen and I had none of those problems with Paper Moon. From getting the estimate to removing old wallpaper, providing a completely new and updated look for our kitchen, and cleaning up after the work was done, I couldn't be happier with the job they did, and I am a picky customer ( or so my wife tells me ).

THey just finished interior painting. Fast, efficient and pleasant. they moved all furniture and wall items and replaced them EXACTLY as they were. Came at scheduled time, worked non-stop except for a brief lunch break. Cleaned up everything as they went. Company may not be cheapest, but I feel like I got great value and superb quality. Office is likewise pleasant and efficient. Great company to work with. When more painting is required, we will call or consider no one else.

We hired Paper Moon to paint the exterior of our house. The house is mainly brick with lots of trim. The Paper Moon team was amazing. Their attention to detail was perfect and the over all job was flawless. The crew from Paper Moon showed up each day on time and ensured we were happy in each step of the process. At the end of the job, they made sure we reviewed their work, left extra paint in case we needed it and cleaned up the job site.

The quality of the experience was amazing. The guys showed up exactly on time, and first went through a detailed 25 point checklist - for instance, what restroom could they use, which window could they use for exhaust, what appliances did we want to be able to use during the work. Every day they did a great clean-up. The quality of the work was exceptional. There was one screw missing from a hinge, and they sent me a new hinge via Amazon.

Paper Moon did an amazing job painting our house! We had both the interior and exterior painted, some drywall that needed repair and brick in the house painted. I can't brag enough on the fabulous job they did! From helping me pick out the colors to the details put into white washing the brick. The painters were very attentive to all details, were on schedule and protected the floors and counter tops. I can't recommend them enough!

The painting is professional. You cannot tell that these cabinets were all a dark walnut color. Our kitchen looks so great. A stranger would not be able to tell that the kitchen wasn't always white.
