Been to several of these in Korea and loved them, but after reading the mixed reviews here, I was unsure. Here is my experience: Went on a holiday Monday at around 10:00 am and there was no lineup to get in. Inside was quite busy, but not absurd. It's a different setup and atmosphere than in Korea and feels a bit cramped. There aren't very many tables. There is also a long table/stool seating area, but the cooling racks and rushing staff are right behind you. The cashiers were friendly and efficient. There were plenty of sandwich and pastry options available and in stock. My wife and I got the Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich, Coffee Danish, Very Berry Pastry, Whole Red Bean Bread, Chocolate filled bread, medium Iced Carmel Latte and medium Cafe Latte. All of the food and drinks tasted quite good. The sandwich bread was fresh and the chicken and veggies were tasty. The pastries were fresh, fairly light and not too sweet. The fruit was fresh also. The iced coffee had good flavour and wasn't overfilled with ice. The Cafe Latte was frothy. Unlike in Korea, we got disposable cups and cutlery, despite staying in the restaurant. Would have preferred mugs. As many have mentioned here, the prices are quite outrageous. The sandwich, 4 pastries and 2 drinks mentioned above totalled $40. That's basically the price we could have paid for 2 large breakfasts at a full-service restaurant, and would have been far more filling. Overall, my experience was fairly positive. A couple of knocks on price and tight space. Hopefully they can do well here, allowing them to open more restaurants, with more space, and maybe bring the pricing down some.

Came in this shop for the first time based on my google search and star review. I wasn’t expecting anything but “good” but boy I was wrong! I was immediately impressed just walking in with the amount of selection and options they have. After looking around and asking staff what the popular cakes and pastries were I finally decided on the strawberry cake and fruit berry tart. To say I enjoyed it is an understatement, I absolutely loved it! The freshness, quality and texture of everything was exquisite yet delicate. Just amazing! Never thought I’d say this, I grew up on St. Phillips ( if you know, you know) and never found anything better but wow! This places blows them away with everything. I will say it is on the pricier side but very much worth it. The staff could also be more friendly and attentive. But if you are in this area do not sleep on this shop! It’s everything they say it is on google review.

Due to a change in work locations I've found myself in the Yonge/Sheppard area more frequently. I was looking for a spot to bring fresh pastries for large meetings, and although the likes of Whole Foods, FoodBasics and Longo are in the area, they tend to have more basic baked goods. Some of my clients are of Asian descent, and although there is a Kin Kin bakery in the area as well, the ability to have 'fusion' pastries, a mix of asian and european inspiration makes the desserts at Paris Baguette unique. The cakes, mochi donuts, fruit pastries and croissants are my favourite. The only reason I couldn't give it an honest 5 stars is due to the price. Compared to other bakeries not just in the North York area, but the downtown Toronto area, the prices are pretty high, and although the quality is there, it might put a dent in your wallet depending on how many people you're trying to feed.

I had a really fantastic experience here today. I was cautioned there could be a line up, but we were there around 10 am (weekday) and it was officially lineup-free, with some seats in store and lots of staff to help out. The drip coffee is excellently priced. I think something Paris Baguette does really well is its massive selection. They've really expanded into different kinds of croissants, danishes, Korean-style donuts, and cakes. They have whole as well as slice cakes. I bought a strawberry cream cake which was amazing (actually better than my usual fav, the whole foods strawberry cake), and the jumbo twisted donut (a classic in Korea and a must-try). I'm excited to try more kinds next time and really happy that PB is here in Canada. Just a tip to show up earlier in the day as we heard from staff that stock is selling out early in the afternoon these days.

Really nice pastries that are “not too sweet”! Paris Baguette has been on my list for a while now but every time I was in the area or dropped by, the lines were too long or the pastries all sold out. However, I was finally able to buy some today and I was incredibly happy with all the pastries! I got the: 1) Tiramisu Tart - I liked this one! Flavourful and rich 2) Almond Pastry - A bit dry, the almond croissant might be better 3) Choux Cream Bread - Yummy! Lots of choux filling 4) Cream Cheese Donut - This was a bit too chewy for my liking 5) Sticky Milk Buns - The best thing out of this list!! Super soft and pillowy 6) Sugar Mochi Donut - Liked this the 2nd best I didn’t notice these signs until I got to cash but if you buy 6 or more pastries/cakes, it’s tax free. Will definitely be back to try more.

Nothing tastes like Paris Baguette in Korea!! Disappointed and I bought July 31st taped bread on July 31st 8:17pm for the regular price!! Paid $32.94 for 2 cake pieces, 2 cream breads( expirying the same day ) , 1 pastry inside the displayed shelf, and 1 cream cheese mini pastries( expiring same day ) ..... At least they should have mentioned on the shelf saying these breads are good until today or something!!! Watch out for the date, guys!! Unbelievable!!!! ---- after they replied to my review ---- If you are selling the bread that you make the day and sell it all at the same day, what about the bread that is dated as Aug. 1 and taped on? Are you selling those bread the next day, too??? I know what is " freshly made " daily bread tastes like... Sorry, but those breads were not freshly made the same day.

I stumbled upon this cute cafe after exiting Shepard Station and was excited to look around and get some treats. As I waited in line to pay for some of them, the guest in front of me was dropping off her resume and speaking to a cashier etc. as soon as she left the cashiers did not hesitate to belittle and talk negatively about her. I was put off by this and decided to sit else where to enjoy my treats. I am disappointed at this display of disrespect to others that are trying their best to better themselves and put themselves out there. As a cashier/waiter/waitress or any customer service job, talking about customers in front of other customers is in appropriate and makes me not want to come back, even though I was excited and everything looked delicious, it’s about the principle.

Where do I start praising this place. It is simply amazing, the pictures do not make justice. The pastry is fresh and made in house. You can watch them make it in the store. There is a lot of a variety so you will find something you like for sure. This bakery reminds me of the old bakeries from China town but with a contemporary vibe. Also with all more options. What I like (and judge) about a restaurant or any other food place is based on how clean there washrooms are. Spotless despite the costumer volume. I imagine that the kitchen is also like that. All I could see was high detail to quality on preparing the food and handling the finished products. I am going back for sure. Yes the apple pie/strudel is great.

Somehow we feel like it’s not worth to pay that such high price there. Smoked salmon cream cheese stuffed Croissant is extremely salty that we can’t even take a bite. Chocolate Croissant is very normal nothing impressed. Cake slices are just fine, but Tiramisu is a bit horrible, its bottom is too watery I can’t describe how weird it is… I saw there are lots of good reviews, I don’t know we just got lucky for that or maybe we excepted too high for it.

My review is solely based on trying their danish and baguette. Both were excellent. I wish their baguette was a bit wider though but it was tasty nonetheless. The danish pastry had delicious cream and fresh fruits. Lose the orange slice. It does not belong on the danish. Limit it to strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and kiwi. Is the quality the same as in Paris, France? No, it's not. In France they use higher-quality butter and dough. Is it good? Yes, it's worth the money. I would definitely come back for the fresh fruit danish. It was excellent!

Abi.. just new today. I'm allergic to pistachios. My partner loves it. I wanted to treat him. She got utensils, picked it up, and put it at counter for me. Got it wrapped up. The gentleman that did my bill in blue shirt. He made sure my two drinks didn't cross contaminate with any of pistachios drinks being made or utensils used. Wrapped it up with tape, so I wouldn't touch it even indicated it on the bag So grateful. Thank you so much. I appreciate it a lot. Amazing service, love it here!!!

I visited this bakery 3 weeks ago and got various types of bread and cakes. Overall taste was not so bad, but the cashier charged me more than I actually got. When I came home and unpacked, two pieces of cakes were missing. Their receipt system is either email or text only, no print, and when I opened that text receipt, it re-directs me to 404 page. Also, a piece of starwberry cake has hair inside the wrapping. I have contacted the customer service via their website, but nobody responded to me.

Came here after dark yesterday with my husband. Food here is really top notch. Kind gentleman was also giving out free samples. Such a adorable cafe to visit with loved ones. Would recommend. Might i add, we also witnessed an adorable couple there too. Barista working while his girlfriend sitting and waiting while she was working on her Ipad occasionally smiling and interacting with one another. Made this place all the more charming. Young love

Tried different kinds of bread, overall the bread doughs are very dry…(even the croissant)I believe they are freshly baked everyday, but some of them really tastes like made several days ago The chocolate cake looks cute but same problem, the chiffon cake itself is dry, so I don’t recommend for cake lovers. Chicken sandwich is OK, the chicken salad inside is delicious. The staff is welcoming, hope the tastes can be improved!

Almond croissant, sugar mochi donut, curry croquette, apple pie, very berry pastry and Mini Croissant (6pcs) All baked goods are crunchy and fresh. The taste is average except the custard in the very berry pastry compliments the crunch pastry and balances the berry sour taste. Almond croissant doesn’t have much almond filling. Curry croquette filling has excessive MSG.

The cakes and drinks I’ve tried here were delicious! I had the strawberry soft cream cake, blueberry chiffon cake, peach iced tea, and vanilla iced coffee. The cakes tasted fresh and not overly sweet. The drinks had strong flavours and didn’t taste watered down at all despite being iced. This cafe has a bright and clean interior, and I noticed that the staff are frequently around to restock items.

Had to visit this place as it’s one of the few in Canada. It’s a chain from Seoul so if you’ve been, you’ll know they will have good stuff. I came in with high expectations and it was definitely met. Everything looked so delicious! Pastries were good and coffee was good but was a little disappointed with the price. It was quite expensive. Luckily we had a coupon so it was BOGO.

  • Lucy Chai

A popular Korean bakery serving up pastries and desserts! Expect a line and things to be sold out as they've only recently opened. 6+ items gets you tax free which is great. They're a bit on the expensive end but the baked goods are pretty delicious and worth trying. I really liked the coffee danish and cream cheese bowl in particular.

  • mariya murgha

J'adore your Cafe immensely and the ambience. Ordered a cake for a birthday... Real yummy and amazing coffee shaped cake (wished to not even cut it actually) .. its too lovable to see it tho. its flavour was lip-smacking indeed. ☺️ Would definitely try out their croissants and other food items soon..!!

  • Adam Chen

Highly recommend the coffee croissant donut, I've never had a croissant donut before and it was creamy and delicious. The peach iced tea reminds me of suanmeitang and was very refreshing. Also, the cakes have light and fresh-tasting cream, and have a nice level of sweetness that compliments the fruit well.

  • Winnie Piglet

Location….. Very convenient Sheppard and Yonge subway station Store….. Nice and Clean Bake Goods…… So many varieties got to try some of them bit by bit ☕️Coffee…… Way too sweet for pistachio coffee …that’s why only 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Try the pistachio mochi donut ( my favourite so far

  • F Deb

Got the Cream cheese pastry and so eager to try but with great disappointment. It is $4.99 each and I expect better than this..... The quantity of cream cheese is so little...... I can barely taste the cream cheese. Definitely not worth the price! The Strawberry mochi donut is pretty good thou.

Paris Baguette Bakery Café offers visually stunning and delicious treats, including beautiful cakes, tasty donuts, and flavorful rolls. The variety of flavors and textures, along with respectful staff and inviting ambiance, make it a must-visit for those seeking a cute bakery experience.

  • Anthony Chen

Very mediocre bakery. The best thing I've had there was the strawberry mochi donut but the second time i had it, i found that it was insanely oily. Some of the other pastries such as the tiramisu and the curry bun just don't taste good at all either that we didn't even finish them.

  • Hana Jeon

I was excited to see they have a good selection of cakes. I ordered a piece of blueberry chiffon cake. Unfortunately the blueberry flavor is overpowering. It's literally like eating a cake soaked with blueberry syrup. The packaging is nice though. I hope other cakes taste better.

  • poonam pahari

Everything tasted so good ❤️ felt like I could eat literally everything.. but my wallet was like naah you can't. Its good but when you grab bunch of stuff because you are excited it makes hole in your wallet. But I would def recommend you guys to try it. It taste heavenly

  • Cally C

Friend and I ordered the blueberry chiffon cake for a friend’s birthday. The chiffon cake was light, fluffy, not too sweet, and had plenty of blueberry flavor. The cream was light, fruits were fresh and sweet. 10/10 would recommend and get it again!

  • Min Y

Enjoyed and would come back for the drink menu or to try a tarte or cake. The watermelon cucumber refresher lived up to its name and was very refreshing. The other items are good but have a hard time standing out in an area with so many options.

  • Peggy Chen

Everything was almost gone when we were there . Still managed to try New York style cheesecake, some original croissants, ordered a large mocha and latte, but the lady struggled to order, and still forgot to order my latte after repeating

  • Janet Babia

Freshly baked, not too sweet and it really melts in my mouth. The coffee is good which is a good combination of all the freshly baked pastries. I will highly recommend it to community. The staff services are very accommodating and courteous.

So excited for Paris Baguette to open in North York as I’ve been to the one in Korean and had an amazing experience there. The reason why I give this location a 4 star is because it lacked selection although everything we got was still very

  • Winnie YW

Bakery shop is new. Lots of specialty bread to choose. Cakes looks very yummy but it’s very pricey too! The shop is small, only a few tables. You can buy something and eat there if u lucky to get a table. Overall it’s worth 5 Stars

  • Vinh An Tran

Stale, pricy bakery items and mediocre coffee. They farm 5 star reviews by giving out a free coffee for review. The only thing positive at this place is the wide selection of pastries but they are your average bakery items and also tasted

I used to come here a lot when I was in Viet Nam. So I was super excited abt it. Finally made it there. But a bit disappointed, all my pastries r actually dry to me tho. The presentation is good. And their package r cute

  • Amar

The moment you come in, it’s just like walking into a Parisian bakery. Everything looks so delicious. You have no idea where you want to start. The coffee is excellent pairing with anyone of these delicious desserts.

  • Justina Hogan

It’s good! The pastries are all pretty good! Nothing crazy special but I understand the hype it being one of the first stores here. The set up though crammed is cute, and there is a good variety.

  • Hayhay

Always love to go here when I were in Korea. I believe this one in North york is the first Paris baguette in toronto. Nice bakery and cake as usual. My favorite is the coffee crossaint donut.

  • Mahsa AMR

So lucky to have them nearby. Always fresh and delicious. I’m not typically a fan of pastry cream and fruit tarts but their lemon-infused version is exceptionally smooth and delectable.

  • Yomna A

Cozy cafe in the heart of Younge and Shepard. The coffee croissant donut was number 1 imo. overall, everything was good; it will just depend on you’re taste. Would come back again.
