"This school has horrible time managment, misqualified teachers"
"Great international school in Prague! We got top professional support both from school staff and teachers whenever there was any need"
"Great school! I've been a student in this school for the most part of my life (y1-9) and would absolutely recommend it! The staff are incredibly helpful and the principal and head of secondary are incredibly nice! The only critiques I would have with this school is that the corridors are very narrow and at the end of school/during lunch they can get very clogged up with children, also the playground is a little bit bland and I would recommend to develop it especially for the younger pupils in the school"
"Best English school in Prague - Absolutely NOT, far from that"
"With everything that occurred during 2020 and 2021, Park Lane did a remarkable job adapting and switching back and forth between online and in-person learning"
This school has horrible time managment, misqualified teachers. TERRIBLE, facilities and is very unpleasant. In this school, 3 test are fit in one school day, it can be extremely tiring and frustrating, and these are the end of year exams with we also only got 18 days to study (ALL SUBJECTS FROM YEAR). The hallways are so narrow you can always expect "traffic". It has a bad community, and terrible system. Recess is very boring, all it has is a couple of benches a half-broken tiny football pitch. And a garden which they now closed off to make the school look "nicer". I also have to mention that when your on the school email, you can basically open anything, games, websites off topic etc. Students can get very distracted. By the way, the school did not manage the corona crisis really well, teachers lacked off and gave you twice the amount of work. PLUS. In year 9 students will expect the worst organisation ever. We have tests pretty much ever 2nd week after vacation because the school cannot organise anything well, I think they improvise at the last moment and never think about anything. Im worried about my future at this school, because when you arrive at IGSCE you wont even have a playground or park of any sort we can just enjoy the loud, smoggy streets of Prague and ALSO we get to eat at a random restaurant. I AM TRULY SERIOUS, do not go to this school. It may seem absolutely perfect in the first few months then youll realise how unorganised and dumb the system/curriculum is. I reccomend ISP or ECP two very good schools with extroardinary facilities here in Prague.
Great international school in Prague! We got top professional support both from school staff and teachers whenever there was any need. My both children loved it and it was a very smooth transition for them coming from abroad (Switzerland). In addition to great support and integration, the school provides high academic level across the subjects, including mathematics and science. I was very impressed how the school managed to handle online schooling during the COVID challenging year, it was super organized. The campus is conveniently located in the city center which is accessible by the car, or ideal when the kids become more independent and use public transport (as it was the case of our 12 year-old son).
Great school! I've been a student in this school for the most part of my life (y1-9) and would absolutely recommend it! The staff are incredibly helpful and the principal and head of secondary are incredibly nice! The only critiques I would have with this school is that the corridors are very narrow and at the end of school/during lunch they can get very clogged up with children, also the playground is a little bit bland and I would recommend to develop it especially for the younger pupils in the school. Anyways this school is very good and does not deserve such a small rating. I decided to write this review to boost the score and I hope people will consider sending their children to this school.
Best English school in Prague - Absolutely NOT, far from that. We can compare with a real British school that we've been part of before. Shortly about high school : Low qualified teachers, mismanagement, unreasonable time table, no advocacy between students and teachers, lack of study space ( as they create huge gaps between the lessons), too business oriented etc. Park lane high school - in reality, is not a like in the advertised photo, it is a very small building with insufficient space and air, really uncomfortable to ensure a proper study space. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND, don't waste your time and money!
With everything that occurred during 2020 and 2021, Park Lane did a remarkable job adapting and switching back and forth between online and in-person learning. We are thankful for the talented teachers and staff who helped our children grow and learn, even when they were out of the classroom on the distance learning plan. Park Lane has rigorous educational standards, but also acknowledges the importance of the physical, social and emotional growth of each child. We made a great choice.
I would like to express my gratitude to school administration, all employees and especially to all pedagogical staff / pegagogues, for perfectly handling our children's education under this unprecedented and difficult situation brought by Covid-19. Thanks to Your hard work their education was not neglected and students are now ready for next grade. Thank you once more for Your hard work, Sincerely, Lucie Zaradickova
This is the worst school ever. They have the worst staff. They are racist in lessons. The teachers are not supportive of students dreams. The building shakes all day because of the trams passing by and i cant cope in the classes it’s unbearable and i have to take meds as i have anxiety over these trams. Fire drills were the worst I dont recommend! xoxo
A fantastic school that has really gone above and beyond during the corona crisis. The home distance learning was excellent and our children didn’t miss out on any of their education. Park Lane outshines the other international schools in Prague. We had our son at ISP and it is a poor school compared to Park Lane.
worst experience of my nephew, a smart , intelligent boy, who was the student of the year in CATS Cambridge school and was deeply disappointed about this school approach when they moved to Prague. Would not recommend this school!
An excellent international high school in English language that my son attended. Excellent teachers and education aimed at preparing students for both university entry and life. Many thanks to all staff and the school principal!
Žáci z této školy, konkrétně z Nerudova ul. se v potravinách žabka chovají jak stádo, jsou drzi k prodavacum, odnáší zboží bez zaplacení. Doufám, že škola zakroci
Although this school is international, it does not have a transparent admission process; they even invite you for an interview, apparently based on nationality
Great school, small classes, professional staff, lots of support available
Great School <3 I truly do not get the negative feedback...
Magico, tiene bastante historia
