Cute shopping center if you're ever in the area or even close by. They have a variety of restaurants (velvet taco, CO, oyster bar), to name a few, a few retail shops, and a Harris Teeter. I visit this shopping center to bring my son to his guitar class, and while I wait, I always step into the J. Crew store and the book store. Definitely my two favorite shops. They also have a Jennis Ice cream shop, which in the summer is always a plus! There is an amelies located in the back of this shopping center as well as a Midwood Steakhouse. They have a movie theatre also. Lots of parking and it's always crowded when I come here.

I really enjoy coming to this shopping center. They have a lot of great businesses and even have a grocery store that you can hit up before you leave. Amelie's is a must visit. It's a delicious french bakery that I enjoy very much. There's a breakfast place that is called the flying something that is pretty good as well. For dessert, Suarez bakery is definitely the choice over the donut place. I've only been to both one time, but I was very disappointed with the donut shop especially for $3.75 a donut.

Blackhawk Hardware is NOT your ordinary hardware store. It has almost any hardware, home or garden supply item you might need. It’s a huge store with 2 floors & an elevator. Best part - everywhere you go there is a knowledgeable service person eager to help you find exactly what you need. Really! So helpful!!! About everything you can think of is in this amazing store & more. You have to see it to understand.

What an awesome ACE hardware store. The manager personally showed us around after finding out that we were visiting the city and that we look for hardware for the furniture I refinish. I have never seen that much hardware in an ACE store. We were able to order a several unique pieces. They also have a lot of cool bathroom and kitchen things. Don't forget to visit their garden area as well.

Love the area, so close to home.. It is however covid capital. Not sure if it was because the weather was nice but people didn't have on a mask. Walking around it felt surreal because I saw this do much. Nevertheless there's endless sites to experience. U managed to buy chocolate, orange And pineapple mint from the garden. Excellent customer service and a great deal of plants

I had a great experience when l came last weekend from start to finish. I think her name was JoJo who greeted us at the door with a smile and sat us at our table. Then our waiter Shaquayla was awesome and had a very sweet attitude and gave us delicious recommendations on food/drinks which were very tasty. It was 5 stars across the board and l will be returning for sure.

The best hardware store in Charlotte hands down. The only reason I don't shop here more often is that I live 45 miles away. It's amazing how a store that is so much smaller than lowes/home depot type places manages to have a selection that is so much wider than those huge places. They also have extremely helpful employees(and popcorn)

  • Ron Whittington

A relief that a real hardware store with customer service still exists in America. This is a true hardware store. If you need it it will be here. If you don't know what you need and you need help finding it, they will help you. The location is excellent. Definitely try out what's available around this hardware store as well.

Blackhawk is a great hardware store that carries a very wide variety of products. They carry a lot of things that big hardware stores like Home Depot don't carry and there is never an issue finding somebody that is acknowledgeable that can show you what you need. Their price point is a little high but that's my only issue.

I enjoy shopping at Park Road Shopping Center. Great bookstore, hardware store, garden center, restaurants, clothing, bakery... it's all there in a convenient and attractive facility. Parking is sometimes full, but I can always find a space. Love all the local shops instead of big box stuff. Thanks for keeping it local!

Every visit is different, go to this place with an hour or more to explore and pay special attention to the pet T-Rex! Don't forget the outdoor garden center. You will feel like you're in some old English garden, such a unique area. So easy to feel special and certainly forget that you are in a shopping center

  • Grey Hatcher

Great strip mall, huge variety of stores and restaurants. Parking can be hard around lunch time. Don’t forget the “backlot” for lunch or dinner. Amelie’s is a must go to in Charlotte. If you’re ever on this side of town, you gotta check this crazy parking lot out tons of shopping tons of food Grey location

Today was my first time visiting the Soda Shop in over 12 years and aside from a few renovations, nothing has changed. Great food at a very reasonable price, friendly and fast service, and an old timey nostalgic atmosphere that is hard to find these days! Just a lovely little gem in historic Charlotte.

  • Susan Amico

Love this old shopping center. Black Hardware has everything you need and lots of beautiful items for your home you'll want. Classic southern hospitality items and perfect hostess gifts. Their garden center always has many varieties of perennials and annuals you won't find anywhere else in Charlotte.

  • Intelligent Infinity

It's a great shopping center with a lot to offer but the parking situation is just bizarre and you always feel like you're walking uphill for some reason. It's not quite Dilworth and it's not quite south end. Park road shopping center is certainly its own entity here in time space. Worth a trip.

  • Owen Thornton (Owen R Thornton)

Great place. You can get about anything there from clothes to food and groceries it is a great place you can go out to dinner and have a good old time haha. But I must put four stars because the traffic is completely unreasonable. You have to get out and walk 30 miles to get in (exaggeration).

  • Kelly Ray

Been coming here, probably as a fetus. Patents always frequented here from literally opening weekend in late 50s. It's still iconic Charlotte establishment. Don't miss Park Road Soda Shoppe. Best lunch in town, freshly made + breakfast is from scratch & all is affordable, despite Bidenomics.

  • Lakisha Nance

The Park Road shopping center has so much going on. There is a nice selection of stores and restaurants. There is also an AMC theater for movies along with the newly renovated Harris Teeter. If you are looking for something to do on a Friday night, check out Park Road Shopping Center

  • Deb Mer

Visiting the area and stopped in Blackhawk Hardware and Garden Center. We entered in to the smell of popcorn which is offered for free! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Very large selection of everything you could need or want!! Loved the yellow truck out front for photo op♥️

  • David Childress

This is a rare almost extinct type of classic shopping center that still has some local and small chain stores; including just about everything you could possibly need from a real bricks and mortar locally owned book store to restaurants, post office, drug and grocery store, etc.

  • Julie Smith

Live they kept the historic open air shopping center. The face lift a few years ago was done nicely and keeping historic sign is a plus. Sadly rent went up and many long standing establishments closed or moved. It busy, be aware, put down your phone and look out for others!

  • Kate M.

Great shopping center with a ton of restaurants and shops! Just make sure you follow the aisles so you don’t drive down the wrong way. There are a couple stores here that have been around for years! Great Outdoor Provision & Blackhawk Hardware are must visits for sure!

  • David Blumberg

Excellent Shopping Center located in Charlotte at 4225 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28209 Lots of stores and a good variety as well. Featuring Blackhawk Hardware as a main staple of the center. Parking is ok, but not laid out too well, however it is functional for the space.

  • Richie N

One of the oldest shopping centers in Charlotte still bringing in crowds. Black Hawk Hardware is an experience in itself. Just be ready to get everything you need for home or business here. Forget the big bix stores & support local business here ya'll!!!

  • Todd -

Great place to shop. Friendly staff. They will go above & beyond for any customer. The larger supply stores could take example from this store on many things. Simple customer service here is 2nd to none. You'll never walk into this store and get ignored

  • Danielle Brown

Today I went there to go to the pipe shop and eat lunch at Jason's deli. The muffaletta is to die for, their soups are so delicious, and the salad bar is fresh and exciting! I am at this shopping center quite a lot it serves almost every need.

The old JC PENNY'S store is still there and now housed by the amazing BHH! I do love the interesting things you can find there, but most are so $pensy I usually pass. The popcorn is still delicious! They know what people like.

  • Jon Rodman

The Park Road Shopping Center is built on part of or near the original Billy Graham farm. This is the farm where Billy Graham started out. There is a nice bicycle shop, hardware store, grocery store and several restaurants.

Tons of shops around this bend! Ice cream, coffee place, restaurants, post office, and grocery store. Easily could be a one stop shop if you’re looking to enjoy the day out on a sunny day of running errands.

  • Lisa Kelly

I went to the post office and although there was a wait, it was a reasonable wait for the number of people in front of me. The clerk was so personable, helpful, and patient. I'll use this post office again.

Great place to find almost anything you need. Quality goods from cabinet & door hardware to plumbing supplies. Oh don’t forget you garden supplies & plants downstairs and outside.

  • Warren Bobbitt

Use to be great. Now way to busy. Hard to get in and out at times. New owners have raised the rates so high that it forced alot of the mom and pop people out of the market.
