Treatment was good. I was held as if i was missed for days, which made me feel wanted. The handcuffs on the other hand were too tight as i did not have the luxury to move my wrists freely. Accomodation was below dumpsite standards as there were no beds or blanket...how!!? Smh. Dinner was eh, warm but too plain, not enough salt on the ugali and the cabbage was stale. Breakfast was terrible as i had been given tea (which was 80% water) and two slices of bread with butter.....two!! If i wanted to eat that less i would have just starved myself! Nevertheless, i was privately escorted to the main gate with about four tall men! Wow!! (best part of my stay. I felt protected) and before i left they bade me farewell and were so positive i would visit again. Sike!! Not after the terrible food!

These are the people you should be scared of, not the criminals. You are more likely to be killed one of the officers here than a criminal. Also, make sure you have bribes ready as you will be arrested for absolutely no reason and put in a disgusting 3rd world cell for days. They love targeting foreigners for cash and arresting them for nothing. They are also ruining Kenyan tourism.

Govt subsidized 3 star overnight accommodation. No bed and breakfast as there are no beds in the first place. The caterers are rude and will demand money from you all the time. The concierge service will take your luggage.. and everything else. Pay at checkout not check-in. 3/10 can't recommend.
