First off, it is so amazing to have found a vet clinic that is open on Sundays. For that alone, we were so thankful. Our puppy had a scab on his neck that hadn't fully healed, and he scratched at it like hell the night before. We were worried because he had blood everywhere. (It initially looked like something out of slasher film.) We luckily had a cone, so we placed that on him in the meantime. We wanted to see a vet, but our usual one was closed on Sundays. To our dismay, LOTS of other vets were closed on Sundays, leaving us with having to look at an emergency clinic. After deciding to not go to an emergency vet clinic due to horrible reviews (you know which ones), we found Pawsitive Animal Hospital. With mostly good reviews and a few bad ones, we took the chance – we were just so worried about our puppy. We came in without an appointment (were in a slight panic, and somehow completely forgot to even call.) But, the receptionist was extremely understanding and compassionate, and called the doctor to come in. It was a short wait, but we saw Dr. Gurdeep Pannu. We thanked him for coming in on short notice, and he too was empathetic. Like most pets, our puppy was nervous and skittish, but we appreciated how kind Dr. Pannu spoke and treated our puppy. That was probably the most calm we saw our puppy with any vet. Dr. Pannu told us our puppy's excessive scratching was due to an allergy, and told us what was needed to be done (a clean-up around the injury, a few shots, pills, and antibiotics.) Another thing that was super appreciated was that Dr. Pannu asked us if we were ready to go ahead, or if we would like to see an estimate before we went through with anything. Not many places do that! We saw the estimate, and the prices were very reasonable, so we went ahead. Everyone at the clinic was very kind, professional, transparent, and compassionate. That, plus the fact that they're open all week, really do appear to be great with animals, and have great prices, we're likely to make them our regular vet for our puppy! They took care of her as I would. Yet after days of treatment, you lie dizzily still. Absolutely the best vet I have ever been to. They took really good care of my aging Labrador retriever. My dog is currently struggling with fatal disease, and Dr. NAV has been instrumental in her recovery. They are able to balance care and quality of life in a way that I haven't seen too often. We have been struggling to find a good vet because the ones we were previously at were so rude and mean especially to our dog. I've been so happy coming here and this is by far the best vet practice I've been to. The prices are reasonable and their treatment approach is practical and empathetic for both pets and pet parents. The staff has always been extremely supportive and accommodating for my pet Luna , they are all wonderful. Every person in the hospital is professional and they all love animals dearly. This place is a must, they are so sweet and they cared for my dog as if it were their own! I highly recommend them, they are so helpful and are happy to discuss the treatments step by step.

A few weeks ago my elderly cat started hiding and meowing in pain. He is nearly 20 and he had never hid from me before even when he was sick, so I was very concerned. I called Pawsitive Animal Hospital Sunday morning and they were able to see him the same day! They did a general health check and the vet determined that it was likely arthritis. They did an xray to confirm. As well I requested that they check his liver and kidneys as I know elderly cats are prone to liver and kidney issues. They were able to accommodate my request with no issues. I found the pricing to be very good. The xray, tests, and medication were all well under $1000, which is what I had been anticipating! The staff are very kind and reassuring. I really feel like I can trust them with my baby. Thanks to the care plan set out by the doctor, my kitty has been running around like a young kitten again! Thank you so much!

I was pleased to be able to get in on both days of the weekend with absolutely no wait. On the Saturday I had hoped their treatment offered would have offered my puppy some relief but Sunday he was in more pain so I took him back and they said that they could treat him for fleas when he is in a flea med They sent me home saying use his regular vets antiobiotc steroid cream and it will be better in a day. Well next day was Monday and it was nit better. He went to his own vet saw increased swelling and readiness and in doing a skin scraping under the microscope they discovered a secondary infection and he was put in prednisone and an antibiotic. I knew this was not fleas and after paying for two appointments and them not offering my dog any relief I would nit be taking my dogs there again. He is a puppy and did not deserve to be left in pain when I was paying them to help him.

We recently had to take our 2 boys as they had stopped eating and drinking - we are first time pet owners, and our boys are our entire world. This clinic was able to get us in within a few hours of our call, and were professional, compassionate, understanding and clear. They answered each of our questions without rushing, and made our concerns felt heard. When our boys didn't improve right away, while we were out of town and a friend was watching over them, we called in a panic, and they told us to bring them in when we were able to get back into town (about a 4 hour drive later) without worrying about exactly when. Although I haven't personally dealt with clinics before, due to my profession, I am aware of how some clinics operate and this place was the bee's knees. Their pricing was more than reasonable, and I cannot recommend them more. I'd give them a 6/5 if I could!

We thought our cat had been stung by a wasp in the mouth, so we called our regular vet. They were fully booked until after the long weekend, so they suggested trying another clinic or going to Animal Emergency. We Googled to see which vets had a high-star rating and came across this clinic who were able to fit us in the same day! We were seen promptly and it turns out our cat was fine. Their pricing is comparable to what we currently pay, but most impressive are their clinic hours - they are open 7 days per week, including stats! Given that there are only the 2 vets, I don't know how they do it... but I would recommend trying here before taking your pets to emergency if possible. So glad we found this clinic!

The BEST!!! Our dog woke up with an abscessed tooth on Canada day weekend, and our regular vet was unable to get her in for a same day appointment but she seemed to be in a great deal of pain, so we ended up taking her here. I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked through the door, staff were friendly and helpful! You can tell they care! Both veterinarians were extremely kind and gentle with my girl, and they took the time to answer all of my questions in detail. The staff are all beyond friendly and had made me feel very comfortable and reassured leaving her there for surgery. It is clear that the well-being of your pet is their upmost priority!

Dr. Nav was awesome. He really helped our cat, Ashton out. We were having a hard time finding somewhere to bring him as it was Saturday when he got sick, and we luckily didn’t have to bring him to an emergency vet clinic. This clinic was able to accommodate us and we appreciate it. He was able to bring Ashton back to health, and he even showed us the X-rays. Something I’ve never had done before and It helped me to fully understand the problem. We cannot say thank you enough to Dr. Nav and the team for being there for Ashton when he was sick. We will be bringing both of our cats here now. Highly recommend this clinic, and the hours are awesome too!

My partner and I were directed here by the emergency vet and I couldn’t have been more impressed. I moved to the city a year ago and have been struggling to find a regular vet since then (overpriced, unfriendly, fully booked, etc) This clinic was incredible. They booked my cat and I in for an appointment a couple hours after I called. The pricing was cheaper than anywhere else by a landslide. Dr. Nav was incredibly helpful, compassionate, and knowledgable. Incredible bed side manner. The lady who helped me at the desk was also very friendly and helpful. You guys are my new regular vet. Keep up the good work. ♡

True to the reviews. I’ve never been to a Vet that shows more love, passion and knowledge. Both the doctors here are professional and caring. Everything is described both scientifically and in every day language to understand any issue no matter how big or small it may be. It’s a relaxed environment and our cats are not as stressed as they have been in other clinics. The peace of mind knowing that our fur babies are taken such good care of by the clinic staff is second to none. Thank you all for your continued love and care.

Good service and prices for services. Very compassionate and you can tell they care about the animals in their care. Thorough in their explanation of services with quotes on costs, will walk you through what options are available. Had to have my 12yo cat Tiger Lily tested and treated for cancer palliative care, then later euthanized, and they handled it professionally and with sympathy and it made saying goodbye to her much less stressful. Definitely recommend if you're looking for good services that don't price gouge.

So appreciative for the “pawsitive” team. Our cat became very ill unexpectedly and we do not have a vet in the city. After numerous phone calls to other vets unable to help, the pawsitive team listened empathetically and told us to come in right away. Our boy was in and out of his procedure within an hour and the cost was more than reasonable. Clean facility, calm and quiet for the patients, and puts animal welfare over profit. This place was absolutely terrible. My son brought his sick cat there and didn’t run proper test charged him over $1,200 and sent him home under 24 hours and still very sick. I talked to 2 other vets that said the cat should not have been released in his condition so soon. His cat is still sick and being treated somewhere else. I tried to call and get answers and they we not helpful. I do not recommend this place. I will make sure anyone I know doesn’t take any pets there.

Best vet experience i’ve ever had! Came in last minute for an emergency surgery (the two emergency vets in the city were 3 hour waits) they took my cat in right away and stayed open late to make sure he received the care he needed. You can tell they really prioritize your animals health over making money. I can’t wait to switch all of my animals over to them and know that they’re in such great & caring hands. I wont stop recommending Pawsitive to friends/family. Amazing!

Dr Nav was incredible when we had to bring our family dog jersey in for an emergency visit, we ended up having to put her down unfortunately and Dr Nav was very kind and told us directly what was going on. The whole staff was so friendly and welcoming. You can see the passion and how caring everyone is there. The environment is very clean and organized. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with a furry friend and we will definitely be back with our future pets!

Today, I had to put my dog to sleep and all I can say is that the staff that helped me were super compassionate, patient, and kind, like they were absolutely meant to be in the animal field. Thank you guys so much, I know doing procedures like this on a daily basis doesn’t make it any easier on you but you made this process so much easier for my family and I. My best friend and I (fluff) visited this amazing clinic today, I just want to say Ive never had a better vet experience in my life. The staff was amazing, friendly and made sure everything was looked at and taken care of and the final cost was very reasonable and even better it was less than I was expecting! I've really appreciated the care and attention shown by Doctor. My dog is a rescue who came with lots of obscure health problems, and Pawsitive Animal Hospital has been able to diagnose his uncommon issues and keep a good boy up and running. In addition, the staff are so kind and welcoming. Instead of being afraid of the V-E-T, my doggo is always delighted to go.

Our family cat needed a new vet, and our first experience here was "pawsitive". ;) The vet and tech were very thorough and caring. Also liked that they easily explain everything and are very responsive to any and all questions we asked. We'll definitely continue to bring Jazzy back. Are usually don’t write reviews, but I thought I would for this one. I brought a little cat there this week. Clearly the cat was very weak and extremely underweight. He felt the cat said he has worms with no test ran two days later he died even I could have told him there was some thing very very wrong. I am not impressed at all with the care.

I don't write reviews often. But this place was great. Not only are they open 7 days a week, but the vet was gentle and caring for our cat. He ended up finding a puncture wound in his paw. Gave us antibiotics and the next day the cat is bearing weight on it again. Also, vet called 2 days later to see how he's doing. Found our new vet!

We came in as my dog had an allergic reaction in his face. Dr. Gurdeep Pannu was able to get us in very quickly on a Sunday and take a look at him. Dr. Gurdeep was direct and straightforward and we was able to determine what was going on with my dog. Very reasonable prices as well. Very satisfied with my experience here.

AMAZING service. My dog had an ear infection and a lump growing on his bum they did everything to help him in the appointment I made. His ear is looking amazing and it’s 1 day after. They saved me a lot of money by not doing unnecessary things. I was thinking my bill was going to be 3x higher than what they gave me.

Pawsitive animal hospital lived up to the reviews. I called an hour after they opened and they were able to see my dog within an hour and a half. We brought sultan from India to Canada, he suffered weather changes or something but Dr. at Pawsitive vet diagnosed with environmental allergies and put him on some meds, now he is doing really good. I am really happy with their services, awesome vet in Winnipeg. Would definitely recommend them.

Their hours are great compared to other vets. But they don’t have any pricing listed for any food products and struggled to find their own products in the system. It took 15 minutes to tell me a price which ended up being over double the price for the same product at other vets…
