Nthobile and the rest of the staff working on Tuesday 17th October are a joke, she wanted to over charge me for chicken like I can't read a menu and actually didn't want to help me because I arrived at 19,59. Then said she could not sell me a full chicken as they had only half chickens? I would think two half chickens makes a full chicken and when it's cut into 8 pieces anyway what is the issue. Also told me I can't order chips. Clearly the staff there started packing up at 19,00 in preparation for going home, no manager on duty. I'd be ashamed if i owned this business. As a Hillcrest resident I will never be back and I will be contacting the Pedro's head office....unacceptable service and a very poor reflection on the franchise. Afros is way better anyway .....

Good looking pedros store situated in Hillcrest...next to the caltex garage, opposite Roman's pizza Parking is limited In and around the area Service is really poor,even though the staff are alot...they don't seem to even care about your order once it's done,you have to go and present your slip to get your order, whereas the norm of pedros is once orders are ready they call out your order number... Had to wait approximately 20 minutes for my order and I had to approach to find out if it was ready or not

Pedro's makes the most delicious chicken, especially the pure breast burger! An absolute favourite for my whole family. The meals are extremely reasonably priced -such a breath of fresh air in the current economic climate. When I've not ordered with MrD and I've gone to collect the take away (there are a couple of tables inside) the staff have always been lovely and friendly .

I visited Pedros and I was particularly impressed with the warmth and friendliness of the staff. The service was very quick and efficient , the food was amazing, chicken was sooo good and succulent, chips nicely spiced. We also ordered their burger special and even that was nice and juicy . The overall experience was excellent. Thanks Pedros team, will definitely make a stop again soon!

Very disappointed. We usually buy food here on a monthly basis, sometimes weekly, and it's always great But when we got our chicken undercooked and the sauce visibly watered down a few days ago, I have to say going back seems highly unlikely. On the upside though, staff is always friendly and polite. Genuinely hope they improve on the quality, or that we just went on one of their bad days.

Food is really excellent! No complaints there! Service is ok, i guess. Atmosphere is super kak. Location is dodge. Local hangout for beggars and vagrants. Was shortened on chips with our last order, complained via official email and haven't heard a peep. They're ovbiously printing money and don't care. Good on them!

So disappointed. 3rd time here and I call ahead for collection but I still have to wait for 45mins! I ordered at 18:11pm and it’s 19:20pm and I’m still waiting. Staff seems disorganised and order are all over the place. Unfortunately this is the last time that I will be visiting Pedros. Customer service is zero, the two star are for the chicken, which will probably be undercooked when I get it!

Was not impressed with the Chicken platter. Portions besides the chicken itself was very little. Wedges are suppose to be a large but we got enough for 2 people. It looked nothing like the videos Iv seen nor did we get any mayo for dipping

A great and cheaper alternative to Nandos. Tried it for the first time this week and was pleased. I had half chicken and it was a much more generous portion than Nandos. (Perhaps because they were willing to serve me 2 breasts instead of a Brest and thigh). I’ll return

Store closes at 9pm but from 8pm they never answer their phones. They don't deliver ordered food and the incompetent drivers get lost. We have to then try an locate them driving around after paying for delivery.

Didn't get my salad in my order. Granted I should've checked but I just assumed that's what the staff was supposed not only that they didn't give me the 2lt that came with the meal either they just didn't care. Feeling a little bit ripped off if I'm honest

I called and placed my order and asked the lady if my order is R200 and she agreed and also at the end of my call she confirmed the price and when I went to collect they told me my order is R309 I've never been so furious anyway I payed coz I was hungry
