"Really fun bar"
"This bar is not just a watering hole! There are billiard tables, darts, shuffle board and ping pong tables available as well"
"Pegasus On Church is an absolute gem in Toronto's nightlife scene"
"Wow! My niece and I had a fun evening here while on holiday"
"The bar vibe is very intimating & unwelcoming"
Really fun bar. It's upstairs, the entrance can be easily missed. Big open space with large windows over looking Church St. The windows open up in spring and summer. Fun for people watching or being seen. Plenty of bar tables throughout the space. Bar staff is super friendly and make great drinks. There's a pool table and video games as well for entertainment. They have plenty of TV screens throughout the space. The days I was in town they didn't have anything specific going on. I did notice they had a number of performance and themed nights. Although on Church and seemed to have a predominantly male client it seemed open to all not just gays. Really enjoyed this place for happy hour. Wasn't crowded and the place was sunny. They even have free WiFi. Totally fun place.
This bar is not just a watering hole! There are billiard tables, darts, shuffle board and ping pong tables available as well. Many groups choose Pegs as we lovingly refer to it as their meet after or for planning their events. This bar welcomes everyone, gay, bisexual, trans gender, straight etc. with open arms into a safe and inclusive environment. There is zero tolerance for annoying people that do not respect everyone's right to safe enjoyment. So if your in the neighborhood drop in and experience for yourself. Staff are also fantastic and many of them have been there for years which supports the inclusive safe environment.
Pegasus On Church is an absolute gem in Toronto's nightlife scene. The ambiance is electric, and the dance floor never disappoints. The diverse crowd creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the music selection keeps you moving all night. While some might find the drinks slightly pricey, the overall experience is worth it. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the allure of this club. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Pegasus On Church guarantees an unforgettable night out. Don't miss it!
Wow! My niece and I had a fun evening here while on holiday. Nice evening with tasty cocktails, pool, ping pong and Tuesday night quiz! The staff were all very nice, and we were so kindly included in the fun quiz that I think has mostly regular guests attending every Tuesday evening. There was such a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, and we were even given delicious home made cookies by one of the guests who shared them around the room. In short; a laid back and fun place to spend an evening!
The bar vibe is very intimating & unwelcoming. There are groups of older regulars who make it so uncomfortable for if you are alone and a person of color ( constantly staind when said Hello, totally ignored ) Also as a person of colour this was worst. No wonder I was the only non white there. I won’t recommend this place better explore a friendly bar which respects you. WARNING - Stay away from the white older snobs & racist who are regular there.
Great spot on Church street to hangout. The staffs are friendly. There are a lot of activities to choose from trivia, ping pong table, pool dart, and other bar top video games. They also host various nights like trivia nights with one of the bartenders. A welcoming environment where you can find a vast varieties of patrons of different background and generations. Definitely one of my favourite spot in the village to feel at home.
I come here once in a while and I always end up doing a bit of pool playing, then some trivia if I feel like it. I enjoy the video DJ playing some awesome tunes on the big screen and also good for people watching. I mean after all you are in the village and people are quite friendly. The pitchers of beer are decently priced and the service is outstanding. Just make sure you tip your gorgeous bartenders!!!!
Very well maintained pool tables in a queer friendly environment. Some arcade style games, ping pong, and shuffleboard. There is a typically stocked bar on site with quiz games as well. A pleasant, low-key space for hanging out and playing games. Small tables are also here if people just want to hang out and talk. I have been to a variety of events here and found it very welcoming.
Pegasus is an amazing bar in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village. It is a nice open space with friendly bartenders and staff. There are billiard tables, e-darts and pinball. They also have many special nights which draws in people. My fav is "Are You Smarter than a Scottish Guy" Trivia on Monday nights hosted by Simon (who is also a great bartender). Definitely check it out!
I love this bar! Low key, casual and lots do do; shuffle board, pool, ping pong, darts and more. Drinks are reasonable and lots of seating. They have gender neutral bathrooms which is AMAZING, especially for those who know the difficulty public restrooms can pose. Great to meet up with friends, a date or just a night on your own.
Came here on a quiet Tuesday, and there was a trivia night on. The MC, Simon, was absolutely delightful and the place was chill, welcoming, and just generally a great way to sit back and enjoy the Village, especially if you’re a non-clubby but still lively environment. I came alone and immediately felt at home in the Pegasus
This small bar has a great ambiance and if you pull tables as well as the ping-pong table in the back. They rent all these tables for $10 an hour, which is a great price for a great time! Their beer prices are reasonable though limited they have a few options for craft but still decent. Did not get a chance to try the food.
If you are looking for a gay space to hang out in without too much prestige or fuss, then this is the space for you. It's a friendly and easy-going space that focusses on drinking & chatting (plus games). It's not a nightclub vibe so its a great space if you are looking for more of a local gay bar vibe.
This used to be a great bar with friendly strong bartenders, great music and atmosphere. Recently they've changed the entertainment to noisy TV shows (non-stop RuPaul and Survivor), and the staff are increasingly rude and not correct in their billing, with a particularly bad experience this weekend.
Great bar, they have a lot of events like a quiz night on Monday and Bingo on Tuesday, you can play pool, shuffle board, darts or casino style slot machines as well as change the music using the mobile juke box app on your phone! Drinks aren't overpriced and they have great specials!
This is a great place to go for a drink and meet friends... great ambience, feels like a local bar, very friendly... there are pool tables and other games... it's a lot of fun they also play good music, there's a giant video screen and several other screens around the bar
Friendly staff in a relaxed environment. Place to listen to music and watch sports, play some pool or gaming machines. From Trivia night to open mic nights, this place is a hub of Church Street. Thank you for many fun night, wild events and great cocktails
The staff is very friendly. The washrooms have seen better days. The music gives a good vibe. The pool tables add something to unique to the village. The crowd is very group oriented. So not the best if your alone and or new to the bar/city/country.
A great place to catch the Village Vibe in more tempered pace making it a great place for great, and easily heard, conversations! Aestheticly a cheerful pub look. Relaxing atmosphere, variety of drink choices, pool tables available to grab
Newly renovated and cleaned up, three pool tables, darts, slot machines. Casual dance area, good music and good vibes. My particular waitress was very blase, but didn't bring us down. I'll be back. A fun place to unwind on a weekday night.
Such a fun place. Trivia with Simon (Are you smarter than a Scottish guy) is the most hilarious evening you will spend all week. Be sure to check this place out for pool, darts, ping pong , televised sports and great staff and good times.
‘Are You Smarter Than A Scottish Guy’ is the Best Trivia night in Toronto. Tuesday nights at Pegasus on Church. Simon is THE best host, even better than Alex Trebek was , may he rest in peace. And he is also moderately cute.
Very cool bar! They have a ping pong table and 3 billiards tables + what looks like slots machines The atmosphere is the right blend of lively and calm, I definitely recommend for a chill night out with friends …
Nice atmosphere. If you love pool, you'll love it. Decent prices for the drinks etc and an eye opener for all . Lots of girls and guys to hang out with. Music not too loud... Just about right volume I would say
It is a real good place to have a couple of drinks and play pool or ping pong. Nice vibes, friendly staff and ice cold chilled beer. I will definitely go there again. It is also in a very lively location.
Really fun atmosphere, the bartenders are really really nice and go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service. There's a few pool tables and the people who go to Pegasus are very friendly
Come for Are You Smarter Than a Scottish Guy? Trivia on Tuesday nights at 8pm. Win a gift certificate to Steamworks or a butt plug. Whatever tickles your fancy! They also welcome Parkdale transplants!
My favourite queer space in Toronto! Best bartenders, friendly environment that’s judgment free and open to all, great pool tables and games nights like trivia and drag bingo. My go to spot!
Great environment where everyone is welcome. Had some drinks with my wife and friends on Halloween night and it's an awesome place to hangout, shoot some pool, and get together with friends.
Visited awhile back and I gotta say, tables here play really nice, food and drinks were very cheap. Only downside is not a lot of space between the tables. Overall decent establishment!
Pegasus on Church is my go to place to chill and feel welcomed. The staff here are all amazing. If you like trivia you need to come on Tuesdays for Are you smarter then a Scottish guy.
Wonderful spot with great staff. I play in a queer dodgeball league on Monday night's and appreciate that Pegasus gives us a place to come after to socialize as a team. Just the best!
A lively place on Monday nights. The place gets busy with all of the Monday dodgeball teams dropping by for drinks in the evening. Also a good place to play pool in the village.
Giving 5 stars for the lovely bartender Adam, they were fabulous and so kind and quick. Made myself and my friends feel special and right at home. Great conversation and laughs
A great and classy place!! Be sure to come on Tuesday for “Are you Smarter than a Scottish Guy”. Good looking bartenders. Friendly crowd. In the heart of the gay village
We had a large group meet up and Had a great time. This bar has a Small entrance but it led to a BIG meeting place .3 pool tables, ping-pong, shuffleboard, great music.
Trivia nights on Tuesday were so good!! Simon was funny (someone get him a Netflix special). 10/10 recommend coming here. P. S. Their shots were hella generous.
10/10 Don't think twice if you're looking for great portions and a dinning experience for only 40$. Including a full plate of mussle and Dessert.
Tuesday Nights: "Are you smarter than a Scottish guy?" with Simon as a host is a blast. Great people and fun vibes. Highly recommended …
Great service, friendly staff. Good entertainment. I went in to gamble. I had $500 when I arrived and I left with $1,200.
It's a great place. Love the atmosphere and the bartenders were really welcoming. I hope to come again soon
We like play ping pong and billards here. Be sure to bring ur ID even you don’t order any drinks.
Staff are amazing, drinks are flowing. A great place to chill out after a long day at work.
