I've been here in the morning and at night. The morning staff is not overly friendly, but they get the job done. No complaints. Night shift however.... the only thing they did right was greet us when we came in. There were three younger men working and when we were greeted we were told someone would be with us in a moment. It was a long moment. The young man who greeted us had to yell loudly to the back that there was a customer. When the young man from the back came up to take our order he did not speak clearly and was hard to understand. Then we paid - no problem here. While we were waiting another young man (who knows if he works there or not) came in and went behind the counter to talk to the employees, they were loud and used some profanity (extremely unprofessional). Then 2 of the 3 employees decided to talk to this new young man instead of work. So waiting for food probably took 10 mins. There was some confusion with our order, even though there were only 2 other people in the building. And to top it all off, when we got home the fries were barely Luke warm. I understand travel time, but I literally live 4 minutes from this location. I agree wholeheartedly with some of the previous reviews.. adult supervision is necessary. Probably won't come back to this location when the one on Rockville road ALWAYS has great customer service and they are prompt.

The food is always good but the most of the time it is dirty. The front entrance needs to be wiped down and the debit card machine needs cleaned as well. The manager is usually very nice but the other employees are not friendly at all it's as if you are bothering them...employees attitude are much better now if we could work on customers attitudes!! I was in like waiting to pick my order up and the lady in front of me was giving the cashier a really hard time she was ordering but talking on the phone just being so rude literally took her 10 mins to give her order and when they repeated it back to her she made the comment that she hated when people get mad when they have to do there job not sure what she was talking about but the young kid who helped me was very polite!!

Was so looking foward for first time eating this sub. So order a Teriyaki chicken with the onions and mushrooms but no cheese,fries, and fresh squeezed lemonade to go. 10 min later I unwrapped and ready to enjoy i first look inside my sub and Surprise! No onions or mushrooms! I was so disappointed and mad. I didn't even take a bite. So I drive back and i now have a sleeping child in the car..but I still go in and they took sandwich from my hand and they dump it in the trash and said they will re make another one. But unfortunately I can't wait 10 min, what I originally waited due to my child sleeping and can't leave her unattended in the car with the hot weather. So I had to just cancel and get my money back. But I was upset due to I was so looking foward to enjoy it.

Second time in a row, awful! I used to love Penn Station and the quality is awful now. I even told the young man taking my order, about my last order, he said he would make sure it was right and it was awful. I ordered 2 small teriyaki chicken, no onions, extra mushrooms, an extra teriyaki sauce and ensure the chicken is cut up. I got mostly all bread, tough chunks of chicken, maybe 3 mushrooms and no extra sauce and I believe they put oregano salt on it. It was awful… I fed them both to my two dogs. Sidenote, is not a good idea to cross contaminate using the same cooking utensils for raw chicken and then using it on a beef sub.

This was the third time we ate here this week. It had been so good UNTIL today. First they rang my sandwich up different than my order to make it easier for them but that caused them to charge me an extra dollar I got the dollar back but they basically didnt put cheese on that was discovered when I got home. I called and wasted time to take back. They argued that the right amount of cheese was on there but this was a pitiful excuse for the sandwiches we got the first two days. They remade it but just ignored me when I said my time was wasted coming back and the fries and my other sandwich was now cold. I spoke to the manager. They dont care. Customer service is dead. Waste of money and time

I heard great things about this place, especially their Philly cheese steak, which is what I got. I got mine with extra meat and cheese and all the toppings. I've had many cheese steaks, and this one did not make it to the top of the list. It was ok, the sandwich wasn't juicy, the meat was dry, and you couldn't even taste the peppers. $19 for this sandwich and I have to say it was a bust, and $3.70 for a "large" drink that's basically a medium at McDonald's. Like I said the food was ok, but the experience and price wasn't. This for me, was a one time visit Worth 2 1/2 stars.

There is a Lady there I believe is a Manager she is White and Middle age looking . My wife who is white as well and i went in there once and she was just really rude to me but polite to my wife . Remind you I'm Black and my wife was the first one to notice but it was not my first time dealing with stuff like that I just let it be. But as a Manager she should know better . I work Customer service myself If I tell you she was rude towards and my wife noticed it believe me she was . But overall been there many times love the food and the cleanliness . And all the other employees are really Great and Nice but her . She needs fired ..

I love the subs. Fast and great service. The only complaint that I have is to order online almost never work. And when you order by phone they cook your food but they don't have a pick up line. So you have to line up if they are busy it's going take a while, meanwhile your food it's getting cold and they cook only the sandwiches, so until you claim your food they'll cook your fries, by the time you get your food and get at home your sandwiches will be soggy, cold and nasty. You musk ask to the line for the pick-ups only, that way can be faster for us and no line up like everyone else.

We went here to get subs for the Super Bowl this year, and were immediately assisted by a friendly and knowledgeable employee. He took our order in a surprisingly timely manner, considering the noise level in the place. We received our sandwiches a few minutes later, and went home to watch the game. I had ordered their sausage sub, as they didn't have an option for my usual meatball. I ended up thoroughly enjoying it, and actually liked it better than the subs I usually get at Subway. I will definitely come back here again, and look forward to trying more of their offerings.

Horrible experience!!!! They completely mess up my order and when I call to ask for reimbursement and new sandwiches the rude manager acts as if I didn't order correctly!!! I live 15 minutes away from the store so I waste a half an hour trying to get reimbursed. I had to take the sandwiches back at their behast. I spent an hour and twenty- five dollars for an empty stomach. Rude , snotty , and have no interest in customer service. Go there if you want a nice big disappointing sandwich and you got money and time to waste. If not I suggest Firehouse subs!!!

The only disturbing thing was when I walked in there was a man cleaning the grill and I spoke to him first not to startle him and to be courteous and speak I said hello how are you? His response shifted my energy i thought if he's going to be cooking my food I hope he doesn't burn it or not care about it being flavorful because he's having a issue in his day. Im hoping he gets the staff he's looking for and gets a break soon. Otherwise my food was hot and the young lady who took my order was nice

2nd time I have been there recently and the food had gone downhill ! Top if the bun too crisp, bottom all soggy and the beefsteak was just ok ! Fries seemed to be a couple of hours old and sitting in grease ! It was a waste of $17 !!! Not sure what happen to the one lady that was a manager that ran it very efficiently!! I won’t go back

Very slow service. The guy at the register is leaning on the counter while taking your order. Then it’s 9:30pm and they already turned off the fryer not selling any fries... 2 ahead of me tried ordering fries and 2 behind me. I understand it’s only 30 minutes before close but that’s why you close at 10 and start doing your closing duties, not before. Very dirty floor inside the kitchen and outside in the seating are. The soda machine was horrifying.

Had a Reuben and a 2 inches piece of plastic in there. Manager remade food but kept the gloves on she was cleaning with, while food cooking she went back to cleaning above the grill. The other cook had on one glove, had phone out, push his ear bug in, and counted tip $, then went right back to cooking. Inform manager of what I saw she said I did not touch your food and walked away. There's more but no room 2 write it all. Signed lost customer.

Interesting low brow experience. Order taker could not care less! Leaned on her elbow while we placed 4 orders.Did not eventry to understand. Ordered large lettuce only Italian. Extra meat and cheese. Specifically NOTHING else. Sandwich came with mayo. peppers, onions, red wine vinegar etc. Second sandwich veggies only no meat. Came with meat. Told us they didn't have chicken salad. They in fact did. Much too much 'tude", very disappointing .

We ordered a small Reuben, a small cheesesteak, and a small fries. Reuben was great, but the cheesesteak was not as good as the one we tried in Philly. The fries were not crispy, so not my favorite. I wish they could have a drive through, so we didn't need to get off our car.

Placed an order online because I thought it would be faster. Walked in and saw our order was ready, got to the counter and said the name just for them to tell us to go stand in line. Seems as if they were more worried about making sandwiches as they were ordered and didn’t care to just hand us our food and pour a lemonade. Like literally I’m staring at our food that just needs to be bagged and handed to me. Yet nobody will do that???

Ordered my food online at 11:40am, and I was informed that my order would be ready at 12pm. I arrived at the "Beachway" location at 12pm, but by 12:30pm I still haven't received my order and my lunch was over. I cancelled my order, but couldn't get a refund because it was an online order. The manager said she would take care of the situation and I would receive my monies by end of day. It's 5pm and no refund...poor customer service.

It's crazyyyy I went in this place expecting the worst honestly and was pleasantly surprised! The food was soooooooooooooooo good and fresh. The place needed an overhaul but they were getting that started as I was there, so soon the building will go with the great food!

We ordered fries, cheese bread, and subs. When we arrived, they said that they didn't sell cheese bread despite the menu and employee who answered the phone saying otherwise. Everyone was brisk and one lady just shoved the food and receipt at us without so much as a word. The fries were not even good and the subs were so small that it was beyond not worth the money. All this to say, we will not be returning.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted cheerfully and our order was taken and delivered to our seats done to my specifications ( and I'm very picky) Alexus made the fresh fries to perfection-crispy. Then while we were enjoying everything 3 different team members checked if everything was ok our if we needed anything, better service than a lot of full service resturaunts these days!!

Oh man this place and Penn station subs are the Best. You can get em hot or you can get em cold. But I guarantee you will love em hot. Highly recommend.

We Normally are happy with Penn Station but this visit was not the best. Clean restaurant and was not busy at all. However the sandwiches didn't taste as good as the Rockville rd store. I love Penn Stotions food but this trip the service wasn't great. They need to repeat your order to you so you aren't missing anything (which we were) and when we told the lady who brought our food she walked away without acknowledging she heard us until I said it the 3rd time. Also I HATE booths so you either have to sit squeezed in a booth or sit on a high stool at a bar style long table.

Great job.. Very polite young man greeted me as soon as I walked in. Took my order, 2 other ladies were polite and friendly as well. Food was prepared correctly. The only issue was the tea seemed old, and floor was greasy/ slippery. I think those are fixable issues. I would definitely visit here again.

The cheesesteak here is done absolutely right every time I go, I actually get cravings for it. Service is always good too this is a lunch time favorite.

Tasty sandwich, great fries. Quick service. However, the sandwich portions, bread and meat, seem to be decreasing annually as the price goes up. What used to be more than enough to fill me up is now barely enough. Meat portions have decreased and size of bread has as well to accommodate smaller bread.... sadly may not return

Horrible atmosphere, music way too profane for family dining, sandwich was good but fries were partially burned and presentation of the food was less than appealing. All Staff present needs some lessons in customer service and how to talk to people politely. Would not recommend this particular location to anyone. Too bad.

Horrible service! We were the only people in the store. Very unprofessional staff. Floor was so sticky. There was a bunch of kids working. I can not tell you how many curse words were said. And there was way more socializing the service. Took them 15 mins to get our food. 2 sandwiches and 1 fry! Never again will I return!

First time at any Penn Station location and it was awesome. My order was taken and prepared by efficient and courteous staff. Everything was fresh tasting and piping hot. My order was to go and was ready in no time. I was asked if I needed condiments and the employee brought my bagged order to me. Will be returning.

Was ordering food when I noticed a cook had his hands down his pants (not his pockets). The guy did not change his gloves or wash his hands and went back to making the sandwiches. Disgusting! Walked right out of there. The other employees acted like it was no big deal that a cook had his hands down his pants!

I really liked the food. The only thing that put a damper in the excellent experience it could've had was that the language the crew we using wasn't suited for customers to hear. Otherwise, they did their job but didn't leave an impression if it wasn't for the food. I'll try again and see if that's changed.

Brachway location , Indianapolis indicates “DELIVERY” available, but the clerk who took my order said they do not deliver. Says one that nag on the website and does just the opposite.

The tables and high chairs were extremely sticky. I had to have a worker come and wipe it all down. Then I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich and got a chicken cordon blu. They re made my sandwich and made it well. If it wasn't for the cleanliness and my order was wrong I would have given 5 stars.

The food was great, service was great, and we were able to get our food quickly and the order was correct. The only disappointment was that the store was a little dirty: floor had trash on it and the counters were dirty as well: needed wiping down. Other than that little bit, it was good.

I love the food but not the best customer service experience waited longer than usual and even after asking more than once for pizza sauce got home to none at all and the fries were crispy oh well ill continue going to the Rockville and country club rd location they rock with out a doubt

I swear this is my favorite sandwich shop anywhere. You simply must try their grilled Italian. They're fresh lemonade is pretty good. If you want dessert, their cookies are soft and chewy (as I like them).

Just got food from here. Clean store and kitchen, fast and friendly service, hot food! Amazing Philly Cheesesteak sub, and family seems to be enjoying their food too! ONLY complaint is that it's a tad pricey, but it's worth every dollar. Keep it up Penn Station.

The service was NOT amazing at this location. The guy forgot the turkey and the cheese on my husband's Bacon Turkey Ranch sub. The lemonade and "sweet " tea were both sour. Staff members were on the phone and not paying complete attention. Not impressed

Staff was very diligent even though they were busy. Almost all Penn Stations have good food, bit when I ordered this time I got the two most pristine sandwiches I jave ever gotten. It was a much needed highlight to my day.

My hubby and I absolutely love it. Forgot dark skinned chicks name we loved her she's very polite. We're from Cincinnati Ohio. Not a bad job keep up the good work guys n gals!! Indy was worth our while. Thanks again!!

General Manager was very lackluster, not impressed with her service. The fresh cut fries were all stuck together too, which can be prevented by shaking the basket once during cooking. The sandwiches were great though.

Hard to locate but worth the trouble. The parking lot is a little small and crazy during the lunch rush. Overall the staff know how to keep up with the rush and food was spot on. Keep up the great work guys!

By far one of the best sub places. They have a wide variety of hot and cold subs to choose from. They also have amazing fries. At this location everyone is so friendly!
