Terrible starting with the Wife of the Pastor. Not a Traditional or Family-Friendly Baptist Church. The Pastors Wife is not a Pastors Wife. The disorganized SundaySchool was not seperated by Age or Gender. There are plenty of Female Deacons in Charge of Everything Else but no DayCare, Mother Room, or Children's Service. The Wife of the Pastor preached an incoherent Sermon that was more Taglines and Nonsense than Substance. Disruptive. While we were there visiting, another Family got up and left. What a Waste of the Baptist Church for the Penn Branch Community.

This is a very large and active church in the community. I went here every week to attend a hypertension class for 13 weeks on Wednesdays. The church is conveniently located on Pennsylvania Avenue S.E. and the Metro bus M6, 36, 30N services the location. They have evening prayer service on Wednesdays. They have nice size rooms if you are looking to have an event, or group meeting. The church outside and inside is always clean and secured by police officers and male staffers who are visually checking the ground of the church.

The Pastor Curry & Reverend Curry and their team has a heart for everyone in the community. They have a firm grasp on the reality outside of the walls of the church and are willing to meet people where they are, help people do better and be better.

Very nice Church been here before I've been here for a funeral service it was very very considerate the pastor did very nice service I don't know his name but it was very very good in there they really felt made you feel welcome

Attended a wonderful concert in the parking lot this past Saturday of the Moye Ensemble! I was wonderfully blessed and so was Pennsylvania Avenue up and down, going and coming!

Love the service and the atmosphere and they also have a daytime program to help the less fortunate or people who are down and suffering with issues …

Attended a very dear friend's funeral. Upon entering the church, they had you sanitize your hands, and they took your temperature. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful church with a warm and friendly Pastor and First Lady. Love meets you at the door.
