I have been on antibiotics for the two months which I normally fill at my local pharmacy which is an independent family owned place, this costs me around $8. The other evening, I had to do some shopping in Penrith and decided that I’d have my medication filled at the Terry White Chemist on High Street and was absolutely disgusted that they have the gall to charge $30 for the same medication, that’s right $22 (115%) more than an independent chemist for the exact same product. On discovering the exorbitant difference in the pricing once I got to the cash register, I questioned the pharmacist (Jan) who filled the prescription, she had absolutely no interest in even talking about the issue, basically said that’s what it costs them to buy the medication and they are making near zero profit off the sale and basically if I don’t like it go somewhere else. I recommend that anyone considering to shop here only do so if there are no other viable options, they lie and cheat you out of your money and don’t even want to discuss it when you confront them, shame on you.

I was absolutely disgusted at their service. I have a life threatening condition, analysis to certain food types. on the 14/11/22 at around 8pm I suffered an anaphylactic fit to nuts and urgently required an epipen. These are available over the counter. The pharmacist on duty saw I was in de stress my lips began turning purple and i was struggling to breath, he purposely delayed the purchase making it extremely hard to get what i needed to essentially stay alive. He asked me irrelevant questions, gave out scripts with the epi pen in his hands. The ladies at the front where quick and efficient however the pharmacist was unbelievably rude and selfish. I will never recommend this pharmacy to a single person. I’ve worked in pharmacy for years and this is the worst by far i’ve seen or experienced especially surrounding a life threatening condition.

Now I've been a customer for over 2 years i have to say it, the service declined massively, they have lost 2 prescriptions the Gp handed them those two by hand, and when i visited them the same night they lost them!!!! Now again i leave another prescription and iam told that they will get it and call me, i receive a call 2 days later that they want to discuss the prescription with me!!! What?? I call on the weekend and told sorry the person who called you isn't here and you will have to wait till Monday to see if they can find it as they can't seem to find the prescription again i cant even get the medication from somewhere else now This is so stupid and iam not shopping again from you guys

If you need a late night pharmacy this is the place to come. It literally never closes. Open early hours of the morning, including Christmas Day, this is pharmacy is a life saver. With that said, there are better pharmacies in Penrith available during regular hours that are both cheaper, faster, and offer a better standard of care. It’s telling this pharmacy has churned through multiple franchises, from Blooms, to Chemmart, to whatever they’re calling themselves now. The shop itself is small and will be the next covid19 hotspot simply because the dispensary is slow and there’s an insufficient amount of space to wait. After hours, this place will meet all needs.

My husband is extreme pain so he drove to this Chemist only to be declined pain meds voltaren and panadol osteo by the Pharmacist. Pharmacist claims you can't purchase both meds at the same time and my husband explains yes you can as I do it all the time. The Pharmacist was rude and still said No. My husband asked if he could have the voltaren instead and the Pharmacist declined my husband because he claims my husband was been rude. My husband wasn't been rude he was just saying that you can buy both meds at the same time. Anyway it's sad to think that people are meant to help others when they are sick are rude and dismissive. Wont be going back there!!!!

Oct 22: Very disappointing service with scripts. Paper scripts are held but not checked when you return, so that you end up having multiple scrips on the go. E-scripts are never generated when dispensing, meaning you have to return here or get another chemist to do it (and they never can). And finally, we are treated like drug addicts when getting authorised scripts *every time*. Rude pharmacists. We've resorted to our old chemist who never gives us any hassles. Something strange about this pharmacy. 5 mths later: Interesting - no response from owner. We've not been back since, and spent over $1k at another chemist. Your loss.

Staff don't know what they stock and can't be bothered checking what is on the shelves. On a long overnight trip our baby woke unexpectedly and we had run out of formula, so called ahead to see if the brand we buy was in stock. Person on the phone flat-out said no. No offer to go look, or suggest other brands they stocked. Well we were desperate so stopped off anyway to buy just something- anything!- to feed our screaming bubba. 5 tins stocked on shelf of the brand we asked about. Seems to be a recurring theme... handy to be open 24hrs but their service is several kinds of sh**.

If you ever find that you need to get to this chemist overnight, call first and find out who is working. If it’s Remy, GO ELSEWHERE. Drive the extra 20kms to another pharmacy or if you can wait until morning for another pharmacy, do so. He is by far the worst pharmacist I’ve ever encountered and I truly believe he shouldn’t be allowed to work with people. He has a vile attitude, is extremely rude and biased. How this man has a job there is beyond me. The treatment we received from him was appalling and we will never go back to this pharmacy again.

I went to get medication and I encounter a very rude pharmacist (Asian looking guy) today don’t know his name. But when I ask if it can be in Webster pack today he replied with don’t you think it’s late notice ? No we can’t. rolled his eyes and gave me an attitude. There’s a way of communicating nicely. He was so rude! The worse pharmacist I have ever encounter. Bad customer service. I won’t be coming back here for someone so unprofessional like him. Should be nicer to customers.

Been a customer for many, many years. Although Jan, the previous head chemist/owner was simply outstanding the staff who have come in since then have carried on Jan's great work. Sure sometimes you have to wait sometimes for scripts but they are pretty damn busy every time I go in and theres a limit to how many staff you can.employ.. I can't understand the negative reviews left here. I certainly haven't had a single problem and the staff go out of their way to help.

Shopped here late at night many times and normally quite pleasant experiences but last night went in at around 2am after work with my girlfriend to buy make up. They didn't have the brand she wanted so we left, got in the car and was about to leave when the lady who worked there ran out and ripped the car door open asking what we were doing in the store. This is a horrible and accusatory way to treat anyone, let alone a returning customer.

Went there yesterday to get a panadol and a nurofin for my 5 year old who was having severe ear ache . And one bottle of 100ml panadol was $20 and the 100ml Nirofin was 25.99 while it’s $8 at chemist ware house . Total rip off . Hate this place . How can you even justify this price ? Hate to even put one star but can’t go ahead without clicking at leat one star agggh

Rude and disinterested Stopped by for an urgent script Pharmacist didn’t like how my doctors had written my script. So he Refused to process it , unless I go get a new one Or I can go to the hospital if it’s that urgent. So I Went to chemist warehouse and they processed it no problem. Then laughed at how many customers they get Who have had the same experience.

Gone down hill with new management, Penny the pharmacist, is rude, racist against all cultures other then chinese like her self and very judgemental. She has very low emotional communication and understanding. After witnessing her behaviour, I have concerns for other customers and even the staff that work there but yes a 24hour store is just convenient.

Just phoned regarding my mother's condition and the staff member who answered the phone was very polite and helpful also the pharmacist was knowledgeable and informative of the condition. My family have been attending the 24 hour pharmacy for a considerable amount of time and have never been let down

Friendly staff and love that’s open 24/7 as there’s been times when it’s gotten to 10pm and I’ve realised I forgot something or my child is sick or partner and need to go grab cough medicine etc. So it’s really great having a 24/7 chemist and it’s not to far either, only 20 mins. Which isn’t bad.

What a pathetic place no one knows what there doing we waited over an hour for 1 script it is the most unorganized place ive ever been to ive never seen such a bunch of clowns in the one place they all should be sacked or close the place down will never go to this place again.

Very grateful for this chemist, Jan is an excellent communicator, and she is supported by a great team of staff. I was in Melbourne recently and needed a chemist after hours, and found there was not a single one in Melbourne, so we are very fortunate in Penrith!

At times I have needed to have a script faxed by my Dr to this Pharmacy. I have always been spoken to with empathy and politeness. Having a pharmacy open 24/7 is very convenient as who knows when we need urgent medication. Thank you to David the pharmacy owner.

Fantastic knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond to help. They also keep scripts on file, looking for the inevitable misplaced paper script repeat struggles and also have a delivery service for those who don’t have the capacity to get into town.

Absolutely disgraceful service. The women there think their better than anyone else. Their rude arrogant. Never go back. Disgraceful place gave the lady worker $20 note for my script in her hand, she throws the change on the counter. Trash service.

Absolutely disgusted I pay $6.30 for an antibiotic at other chemist .but here they charged me $17 for the same medication so be prepared to pay almost triple. Only went here because it's 24hr and my chemist was closed and my son needed medicine.

So thankful to have a 24/7 chemist in Penrith. I was discharged from hospital in the middle of the night with a long list of scripts and was so happy I could get them filled right away and be able to go home and start working on getting better.

They always keep asking me whether I want the cheaper substitute even though the script says no substitute by the Dr. When questioned rather than being apologising the manager was rude. Is this the new world we are in Shame

The worst customer service ever. The old lady (pharmacist) gave most racist and bigoted remarks ever in front of the pharmacy full of people only because I refused to accept generic brand antibiotics. Shame on you.

The fact that it's 24/7 is an instant winner straight off the bat, but the staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable and there's generally somewhere nearby to park despite it being on the main mall street.

I needed a chemist late last Saturday night and this was the closest one open at the time. It was very late at night but I got parking out the front and the lady that was working was very helpful.

Great service and staff very friendly and helpful. Also are open when you need them. Have a good variety of other products to look at while you are waiting for your script to be filled.

Not sure the name of the Pharmacist, but he is an Asian man- rude and not willing to help or listen. We need someone better in our community than him. All other staff are pretty good

Worst pharmacy in the area. Unless you need your prescription outside of business hours avoid this pharmacy. Unfriendly, rude, questions you on everything and really expensive.
